About: I have had over 30 years of taking care of dogs and cats! I hike every day and will gladly take your dog with me! My family and I will love your pet like our own. My 14 year old son is responsible and is helping me take care of the pets in our care. I enjoy staying active with my pets and will take your dog on a walk and hike ( if they are able) My usual routine is to hike early mornings, lunch or evening hikes ranging from 60-120 minutes. About: I grew up working in farming. Sheep and cattle. I’ve owned and extensively worked with Border Collies, Great Pyrenees and Maremmas. I have since moved into town and own a french bull dog and a lovely cat. I love spending time with dogs, caring for dogs and taking them on fun outings. I work part time with a flexible schedule and have plenty of time and energy to care of fluffy friends. I am very active and frequent the many walking trails and hikes in the area on a daily bases with my dog Francis. I believe nearly every activity of daily life is more fun with an animal in tow. I have a large fully fenced yard and a large five bedroom house. No small children. I have a well mannered french bulldog and a lovely cat. They are very well socialized. I would prefer to pet sit in my own home but am happy to also go to yours.

About: I've owned and cared for many dogs and cats in the last 10 years. With my new living situation I'm not allowed to own any animals. I miss my animal connections and I thought this way I'm able to care for animals while helping out those who need, a win-win situation. I currently work morning and evening shifts about 2-4 times a week. I currently have no other commitments and I can be free when need be. I can sit at home with your dog, go for walks, drop by and feed when needed. If your dog is good in cars we could go for a drive. For cats, I love to hang out with and feed also!

About: I am an avid animal lover and believe every animal deserves the best! I have taken care of animals of all kinds since I was 14 years old. I have volunteered at local SPCA’s and learned administration of medicine, body language of animals, positive reinforcement, and animal care, knowledge and skills. I grew up taking care of rescued dogs, puppies, cats, horses and many other farm animals at a local farm. About: I have 10 plus years experience owning a dog and dog sitting for family and friends dogs. My dog is very active so I ensure we get out for 2 shorter walks each morning and evening to do their business and a longer afternoon walk rain or shine. We have had many great experiences having dogs stay with us. Must get along with our dog and be good with kids (we have 3 young kids). Dogs must be potty trained and adaptable to staying in our home (unfortunately we cannot accommodate dogs with anxiety/ separation anxiety as we have kids and a dog of our own and do not have the capacity to attend and spend too much time comforting extra attention). Work casually. I work around my partners schedule. I sometimes work evenings and weekends. I try not to book work if we have dogs staying with us to focus on the dogs. Between both of us someone is always home with the dogs. Semi fenced yard. If your dog is larger and or tries to escape they may be able to jump over the gate. Our dog never tries to but we usually take dogs we are caring for on leashed walks for the outside business. Trail walks in afternoon (prefer off leash but can do leashed walks if required). Cannot walk a larger dog that pulls and tugs on leash as I cant keep control of those dogs. We often allow dogs on couch and have had some on our bed - no longer allowed as we've had accidents and no longer can accommodate your dogs on our beds. Please send their own dog bed.

About: I am a pet lover through and through. My dog Norah is a snug bug and an adventure companion. I a very patient and attentive dog watcher. Whether your dog just loves a warm lap or a run in the woods, I will prioritized their needs. I am flexible with an active pup or a more shy and or protective dog. I am well studied in positive reinforcement and will assist in any areas you are working on with your four legged friends. 🐾 I live close to parks and the sea wall. I frequently visit North Shore trails for hikes and forest waks. I work four days a week very close to home and go home everyday to visit my pup at my lunch hour. I am active in the evenings and weekends and love to be outdoors when ever I can. Daily park walks and weekend hikes are a guarantee I offer strength based conditioning and consistent commands. I would offer to find out what each dog needs and modify based on client’s preferences. With my dog I am persistent and consistent and offer treat and love based reward for a job well done. For instance: Norah gets a dried fish after every successful walk when she does her business outside!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I am gentle with pets and pets usually love hanging out with me . I am working full time and available on weekends or statutory holidays. I can also be available on Friday evenings if needed . . . I will follow pet owners instructions about the schedule of their pet. I will keep in mind the safety and sanitation of pet owners home

She was punctual on her visits and followed my instructions to the letter with feeding times, fresh water changes and litter box cleaning. She played with Lucy and kept her company twice a day which I was so grateful for. Rhaya went out of her way to ensure Lucy was safe, healthy and entertained so as to not feel lonely. She was quick to send photos and updates to ease my mind and always briefed me daily on how she was doing ie.feeding, bathroom and her overall moods. I am very pleased with Rhaya, she was professional and very caring. I would recommend Rhaya to anyone looking for a sitter for their family member while away, they would be in good hands.”

“Danielle dropped in on my senior lab Pearl while I was commuting from a Qualicum Beach Airbnb to Port Alberni for a new job. Danielle was very communicative and caring and my dog loved her! My dog can get anxious when a person leaves the house and by the second visit Danielle picked up on Pearl's anxiety and asked for ways to make that process better. Danielle was quick to make other suggestions to make Pearl more comfortable in the Airbnb (including putting calming music on the TV) that I continued to use myself. Overall Danielle was very kind and considerate to my dog and her needs and I would not hesitate to use her again!”

About: I have taken care of animals as small as cats and Shih Tzus all the way up to Irish Wolfhounds and horses! No animal is too big or small! (Excluding boarding since I can’t exactly bring a horse into my apartment haha) I am currently working part time so I can likely find time to fit in the pup. I am quite flexible and the animals come first! At my home the puppers would have 2-3 walks per day and potty breaks every 2-4 hours depending on the pup! I have multiple great trails within walking distance and a plethora more within a short drive!
