Hi from Lyndsey (she/her)! I have always been a lover of animals and have cared for them since I was a teen. We adopted our dog as a senior and have three cats who were all foster fails and required different levels of socialization after being found as strays/semi-ferals. I’m a director for a local animal rescue organization and have fostered more animals than I could ever count in different stages of their lives, with different medical and behavioural requirements. I have experience with extra care needs like incontinence and medication, both orally or by injection. I’m that girl who has a bike chariot and wagon to bring her senior pup on family outings. You better believe I’ll stop everything on vacation to pet the dog I see or buy food for a hungry cat. I absolutely believe that our pets are family and deserve to be treated everyday with patience, kindness and never ending love.

Lyndsey was so amazing with our large, 125lbs mastiff! She stayed at our place with our dog while we were away for the weekend, provided updates and photos and made the entire process so seamless and easy that we were able to fully relax while away from our pup! 10/10 recommend

Programa
I work Monday - Friday from 7:45 to 4:30 with one hour lunches that I go home for. I work a flex schedule so have a long weekend every other week. My husband, James (he/him), works from home about half of the day and almost always has flexibility to pop home for care requirements.

Our yard is not fenced but all outdoor breaks are supervised or on leash. Our cats are indoor only so no doors or windows are left open.

I love exploring the trails in Port Alberni and would happily take your pup out for a walk of any length they need to keep them happy and healthy. Hot day and they love to swim? I’m into it! We all know cats have their own vibes, so I’m happy to pop by for a cuddle while I read my book or spend time burning some beans with a few toys.
