About: Hello, I'm Leah and I've been fortunate to live for 20 years on Tla-o-qui-aht territory. I got to share over 14 of those beautiful years with my faithful companion, Daisy. We lost our beloved girl to old age early this year. So we are for the time being a family with no dog. So, I'm offering dog care and walking to locals and visitors to Tofino. We live in a house with a big yard, near the field and trails in town. We have a memory foam dog bed with a washable cover and we can accommodate one dog at a time for overnight stays at our house. I have a flexible schedule as I work from home. I can offer dog care any time of day, let me know about your needs. I will keep your pet on a leash while we get to know each other. I will discuss the amount and types of treats you're OK with. I'm happy to listen to your unique circumstances and customize care.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life, from growing up with them to participating in dog 4H as a kid. I have experience with all ages and breeds, from energetic puppies, to nervous rescues, to senior dogs who need a little extra xtra TLC. Whether your dog needs an adventure walk, a cuddle session or overnight care, I’m here to help! I have a fairly flexible schedule by design and like to keep active and be of service so dog walking or check-ins work well for that. I’ve also recently moved back to the city so have locational freedom for long or short term pet/house sit gigs as well. When I’m in someone’s home I like to make sure the dog feels comfortable with me being there and respect their needs. Whether that’s keeping them secured at night in a crate or other space, keeping to a feeding schedule, or making sure they have boundaries while on walks.

Having worked with all kinds of tail waggers, with some extra time during summers in Tofino I'm here to entertain your precious cuddlebuddy while you're going for a tour/dinners or even a wedding! We love all furry breeds! I am a self employed carpenter/dogtrainer filling my time with taking my 4-legged friends to the beach or trails with me, there's lots to explore for you and your dog! After taking your dog on a little adventure we keep them tucked on their bed or the couch wherever they feel comfortable, we do have a medium crate at the house available if needed too

About: I grew up with a mini schnauzer but I currently don’t have dog of my own. This allows me to dedicate 100% of my effort to meeting the needs / wishes of your pup. I completed dog first aid in 2024. My rates are slightly negotiable to Tofino locals / regulars I’m flexible, I can come to you and meet you at your home or hotel. Alternatively I can meet you at a beach, trailhead, or a lake. I care for pets as if they are my own but can maintain and uphold any rules or boundaries you have set for them at home

I build my days around walks, outdoor time, feeding, rest, enrichment, and calm companionship, so dogs in my care are included in a steady, thoughtful routine rather than squeezed into a busy schedule. Mornings often begin with a long walk or adventure, followed by downtime, meals, and quiet settling time. Midday and afternoons can include another walk, enrichment, play, or relaxed companionship depending on each dog’s needs and energy level. I’m careful about introductions and always want dogs set up for calm, successful experiences. In a client’s home, I respect the dog’s normal routine as much as possible so they feel secure and comfortable while you’re away.

Throughout my life, I’ve spent time with dogs and love being outdoors with them, whether walking, playing, or simply enjoying nature together. I naturally develop strong bonds, especially with small, affectionate dogs, and take pride in providing care that’s attentive, reliable, and filled with love. I work from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM Monday through Friday, so I’m available for pet care in the afternoons on weekdays. I also have full availability on weekends, making it easy to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and extra time with your dog. Keeping pets safe, happy, and comfortable is my top priority. During walks or visits, I stay attentive to their needs and behavior. For in-home care, I follow owners’ instructions closely, maintain a calm, tidy space, and give plenty of love, attention, and companionship. I form strong connections with every dog, especially small or sensitive pups, helping them feel secure, cared for, and truly happy while you’re away.

About: I work remotely, therefore i’m able to give a lot of attention, belly rubs, exercise and lots of love to pets :) I have owned pets my entire life, dogs, rabbits, birds, and a hedgehog! I have lots of experience with puppies, senior dogs and reactive dogs. I work remote so I always have lots of time to give attention, belly rubs and lots of love! I love spending lots of time outdoors so as many walks as needed is more than okay with me! I follow instructions throughly and make sure all pets are always well monitored from wherever they are. I keep a close eye on all pets at all times!
