Personalized care for your dog or cat - Tofino

About: I grew up with a dog and cat, and have been around them all my life. I am attentive to their needs while being affirmative as a leader- they see me as leader of the pack. I am available mornings before 9:30am, evenings after 4pm and I have weekends off. Beach walks, run at the park, whatever level of activity is required for your pet, stay at home home staying too)) I have a reliable safe car to drive your pet for beach walks etc. I will take care of their needs, make sure they have water after a long walk and provide any extra care that is required.

“We visited Tofino on a road trip from Calgary and wanted to do a couple of excursions our boy Theo was not allowed on. So we needed a trustworthy sitter to look after him as he can be a whole lot of puppy. Leah was amazing through and through. Super responsive, friendly, and proactive. We received updates and photos from her during the day and picked up a happy and tired pup at the end. We would absolutely book with Leah again.”

About: I grew up with a mini schnauzer but I currently don’t have dog of my own. This allows me to dedicate 100% of my effort to meeting the needs / wishes of your pup. I completed dog first aid in 2024. My rates are slightly negotiable to Tofino locals / regulars I’m flexible, I can come to you and meet you at your home or hotel. Alternatively I can meet you at a beach, trailhead, or a lake. I care for pets as if they are my own but can maintain and uphold any rules or boundaries you have set for them at home

About: I've had dogs in my life for the last twenty years and absolutely loved being a dog mom. Recently our family dog crossed the rainbow bridge and we are looking to connect with other dogs. We love animals and look forward to cuddling yours. I will treat your pet like one of our own - lots of snuggles, walks and treats! I work from home as a freelance contractor. I have plenty of time during the day and on weekends to spend with your pet. Walks rain or shine! We have an animal friendly home and yard. Dogs will be kept on leash while out on walks. Please pack any favourite toys or treats so we can make sure your pet is comfortable.

About: Hello, I'm Leah and I've been fortunate to live for 20 years on Tla-o-qui-aht territory. I got to share over 14 of those beautiful years with my faithful companion, Daisy. We lost our beloved girl to old age early this year. So, we are for the time being a family with no dog. I'm offering dog care and walking to locals and visitors to Tofino. We live in a house with a big yard, near the field and trails in town. We have a memory foam dog bed with a washable cover and we can accommodate one dog at a time for overnight stays at our house. I have a flexible schedule as I work from home. I can offer dog care any time of day, let me know about your needs. I will keep your pet on a leash while we get to know each other. I will discuss the amount and types of treats you're OK with. I'm happy to listen to your unique circumstances and customize care.

About: I work remotely, therefore i’m able to give a lot of attention, belly rubs, exercise and lots of love to pets :) I have owned pets my entire life, dogs, rabbits, birds, and a hedgehog! I have lots of experience with puppies, senior dogs and reactive dogs. I work remote so I always have lots of time to give attention, belly rubs and lots of love! I love spending lots of time outdoors so as many walks as needed is more than okay with me! I follow instructions throughly and make sure all pets are always well monitored from wherever they are. I keep a close eye on all pets at all times!

My partner and I were eloping and wanted someone to help with our two pups ( 11 months and 6 months) during our ceremony. Denie was super responsive, flexible and great the pups.
