About: I have previously lived with 4 large dogs! And loved every minute of it. During this time I helped raise two puppies and took all 4 for frequent walks. I am available on Saturday and Sunday full time. Otherwise for week days I am available from the morning until 4 pm as I work evenings. I am an expert at building relationships with other peoples dogs! I love to play with them, take for walks or even just cuddle with them on the sofa I am also willing to do whatever necessary to keep them safe

Additionally I’m a licensed pet taxi in case of emergency which covers you in ways the Rover Guarantee doesn’t. . I hold my own commercial liability insurance for dog walking and overnight boarding which includes as many dogs as you have in your family. . BOARDING - clients have their separate area and merge with mine when supervised. Boarding with usually one or two dogs at any one time. Feeding is separate and they're never left alone with other dogs, even if familiar. . All boarding dogs must bring their own crate and pee pad for the crate in case your dog is anxious thru the night with a new place. Owners that say that their dog is different usually are the ones with the most chaotic dogs ! With each booking I cross reference compatibility of breeding-based behaviour traits with the other dogs in the house. My dogs are friendly and welcoming, but they’re also senior and one is injured. I’m fiercely protective of everyone having a safe experience . We hike daily on beautiful trails accessed directly from my house. . I strive to be the dog sitter you can trust and understand the stress of leaving your pup with someone new. . WALKING - always on leash with situational awareness and we don’t socialize with dogs we meet on trail or go to the dog park . No meet and greets, I integrate as part of on-boarding. . DAY-CARE and DROP-IN VISITS are available in Parksville, Qualicum Beach and Bowser/Dunsmuir areas. . HOUSE SITTING private bedroom with comfortable bed and clean bedding is required for overnight stays, and my three dogs might sometimes need to come depending on dates. I have experience with pets of all sizes and with reactive dogs (even larger sized ones). I have always loved all animals and had a beloved family dog growing up. I will treat your pet with the same care and attention I would provide to my own animal while simultaneously respecting the rules and routines you have set out for your pet. If your request for care falls outside of my normal calendar/service offerings, please still contact me as I have the flexibility to adjust my schedule depending on client needs. I have the ability to work remotely 3days/week and can normally adjust my work schedule to ensure your comfort with how much time I'm spending with your pet in your absence. Pet care is customized to the pet, their owner, and the needs. I am willing to stay at your home if you require additional house sitting, but reside in a very pet friendly building if you would like your pet to meet some new neighbourhood friends. I like to meet prior to your departure to walk through the space, meet your pet, and cover any details that I may require (normal schedules, special needs, emergency contacts, vet details, etc).
