The most I’ll ever have in my care is four Rover dogs at any one time. Dogs are screened for aggression, lice, ticks, fleas. . BOARDING - clients have their separate area and merge with mine when supervised. Feeding is separate and they're never left alone with other dogs, even if familiar. . 👇Prior to Drop-Off Checklist No raw food diets or injections • Checked for health, no flu etc • Recently bathed & well brushed • Trimmed nails - hardwood floors! • Fed, walked, potty • Rover profile completed with vax docs • All packing list items ready, mapped . IN GOOD HEALTH ☀️ . Drop-Off Screening The 10 minute drop-off checks health, temperament while also noting pre-existing limps or injuries. These pre-existing things might not be covered if theres a claim. We meet in the park near my place to coordinate. . Managing the pack I feed Rover dogs separately in a closed-door basement, giving them space to decompress if needed. My dogs are non-territorial, and your pup gets individual bonding time with me using their own toys and blankets. Bringing a shirt with your scent can also be comforting. . Drop-Off Routine I’ll have an agreement if it’s your first stay. I only accept fully housetrained, un-injured, not sick dogs and appreciate punctuality :) . Safe & Friendly Pack Environment Your dog will join a happy, non-reactive pack. With each booking I cross reference compatibility of breeding-based behaviour traits with the other dogs that they'll mix with. . We hike daily on beautiful trails accessed directly from my house. . I strive to be the dog sitter you can trust and understand the stress of leaving your pup with someone new. . WALKING - always on leash with situational awareness and we don’t socialize with dogs we meet on trail or go to the dog park . No meet and greets, I integrate as part of on-boarding. . DAY-CARE and DROP-IN VISITS are available in Parksville, Qualicum Beach and Bowser/Dunsmuir areas. . HOUSE SITTING private bedroom with comfortable bed and clean bedding is required for overnight stays, and my three dogs might sometimes need to come depending on dates. Alternatively I can house sit staying off site with visits and walks every few hours plus feeding, morning, evening routines, if your house is in Oceanside

About: I’ve always loved being around dogs and the energy they bring. I especially enjoy getting out for walks, and having a dog as a companion makes that time even better. It’s honestly one of my favorite ways to spend a day. I’m fairly new to the world of dog walking and sitting, most of my experience coming in the last 4 years. I may be newer, but that doesn’t mean I lack the necessary experience. I’ve worked with different temperaments and ages, from high-energy dogs to older ones that need a slower, more gentle pace. I’m comfortable following routines, including walks, feeding schedules, and any specific care instructions. My goal is to make sure your dog feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and I want you to feel like you’re leaving your dog with someone who has as much love to give as you do. I am working part-time, I’m currently doing evening bartending shifts, so I will be available nearly all hours of the early day and 3-4 days a week I will be available in the evenings as well, usually varies what days:) Providing a safe and comfortable environment is always my top priority. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs so I can care for them in a way that feels familiar and low-stress. I’m attentive during walks, mindful of surroundings, and careful to follow any instructions around feeding, medications, or behaviour. At the same time, I make sure each pet gets the kind of care and attention that suits them best. Whether that’s a slower, relaxed pace for a senior dog or more active walks and playtime for a high-energy pup, I adjust to what keeps them happy and comfortable. My goal is to create a balanced environment where your pet feels secure, well cared for, and genuinely enjoys their time while you’re away. I am always happy to send picture updates as I go through my day, of the happy pups and their smiling faces as they go about on their walks.

She was also really accommodating when it came to meeting us beforehand a couple of times (both to make sure she was comfortable and the dogs). She left our apartment in the same condition in which we left it, the dogs were calm and comfortable upon our return. About: I have previously lived with 4 large dogs! And loved every minute of it. During this time I helped raise two puppies and took all 4 for frequent walks. I am available on Saturday and Sunday full time. Otherwise for week days I am available from the morning until 4 pm as I work evenings. I live in Ladysmith, and am open to drop-in visits and walks in the area. I will also consider in-house pet sitting opportunities all over the island, and especially in Victoria, where I work twice a week, and Vancouver, where I love to visit. I love going on walks and hikes and would love to take your dog out with me. I live in Ladysmith and commute to Victoria twice a week for work. In addition, I also like traveling all over the island on weekends as much as I can. It's best to just send me a message and we can figure out if the date works. I can travel reasonable distances for drop on visits. Availability will depend on location and timing. I am unable to host pets in my own home, as my partner and I have a cat that is very protective of the house.

This dog has some quirks and can be a handful, but Lyne took it all in stride and assured me everything would be fine. Communication was excellent both before and during our trip, and we returned to a beautifully clean home. I was surprised to see that our garden looked better than when we left, despite the hot and dry weather.
