I've had pets of one kind or another almost my whole life, save for the last couple of years; mostly cats and dogs, the occasional budgie or hampster while my children were young. I've looked after all ages of pet from new born kittens, very young puppies, to lovely old seniors dogs or cats...also all sizes-a three pound pomm to a 100 pound husky!. I have a huge regard and affection for all animals, and I find they in turn are very receptive and trusting of me; I often hear comments from people that their pet doesn't usually let others hold them/stroke them/walk them...doesn't usually trust or accept others. Short stay, or long stay, I will love your furry friend!

Kim was a fantastic dogsitter! Her and Rupert seemed to have a lovely time together, and it was so reassuring that he was in trustworthy hands. I would gladly hire her again and recommend her to others.
We felt very comfortable leaving our two Frenchies in Kim's care. She was prompt, friendly, and caring - both dogs liked her immediately. Our communications were clear and everything went smoothly. We'd be happy to have her care for them again!
Willow loves Kim!!
Kim must be loving and kind because Bodhi did not want to go home. Her yard is fully fenced and her home was dog proofed. I received updates and a picture which always makes me feel more secure leaving my dogs behind.
Bella loves Kim and we are so very lucky that we can book Kim when we need her so Bella feels like she’s on a vacation too. Thank you again Kim for watching our old girl. 🫶🏻
Jim took excellent care of flash. He had all the attention he craves. I would definitely booked with Kim again.

Schedule
I'm a retired professional living on my own (no other humans or animals) in Port Alberni, with lots of time, and with lots of comfy warm places indoors to snuggle up in. I love to walk, and would love a companion for that, or, just a warm furry body to hang out with while I'm at home.

I have a good sized fully fenced and secure back yard for play time. I love to give scrattches and snuggles, play games, go for walks, and I will happily and carefully follow all specific instructions regarding your pet's care!
A typical day
For dogs, I love to take long walks in the woods, or parklands, just around the nieghbourhood, especially down back lanes where there's lots of smells! or, wacthing dogs happily running together at dog parks...I'm good at tug-o-war, fetch, even wrestling, and especially at snuggling! Kitties I will play whatever scratch and chase games they like, and of course, snuggling is my favourite!
