Growing up on a farm in Saskatchewan we always had dogs and cats to care for so I am very comfortable around animals. 9 years ago I got a dog of my own and I have learned a lot about training, dog behaviours, and how to keep my dog happy and healthy. I regularly look after friends dogs & cats and have loved every minute of it! They trust me to feed, walk, play with their pets and I will wash & brush their dogs if needed. I regularly go on walks or gentle hikes with my dog & am familiar many of the local dog parks.

Michelle and her partner did a great job looking after Digby for a night for our quick trip upisland. Communication was very good. Digby seemed to enjoy his short stay.
Michelle was great! She was very accommodating, communicated often and my dogs loved her 🩷 I felt at ease entrusting her with my beloved pups care, and everything went really well. I will definitely plan to book her again 😊
Michelle was fantastic with our dogs, 1 senior and 1 high-energy. Great communication and never doubted her care, will definitely be reaching out again when we need an animal person to help watch our dogs!

Michelle was so lovely and welcoming to Luca. And I so appreciated her flexibility with my bananas work schedule. I'm certain Leroy kept him engaged because he's been asleep for almost 12 hours post visit!
I trust Michelle implicitly with all my living creatures! She has helped me with my dogs and my plants multiple times. She’s caring, patient, responsible, and highly empathetic. She’s is definitely a go-to for anyone needing a dog sitter. 10/10 Highly Recommend!!

Schedule
I work short hours out of the house. They are: Monday and Thursday 9-4 & Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00am-2pm. And am around fully on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

I'm open to come to your home or have your dog in my house. I have a semi-fenced yard but also I will happily drive to parks, beaches, or trails.
Pets
A typical day
I like to take dogs around the neighbourhood to smell all the smells or to a park/beach to run around. When we’re at home I’m happy to play with toys or work on tricks with them.
