I’m criminal record cleared in Oceanside this year and request please that dogs be up-to-date on their vaccinations before starting service. The most I’ll ever have in my care is four Rover dogs at any one time. Dogs are screened for aggression, lice, ticks, fleas. . BOARDING - clients have their separate area and merge with mine when supervised. Feeding is separate and they're never left alone with other dogs, even if familiar. . 👇Prior to Drop-Off Checklist No raw food diets or injections • Checked for health, no flu etc • Recently bathed & well brushed • Trimmed nails - hardwood floors! • Fed, walked, potty • Rover profile completed with vax docs • All packing list items ready, mapped . IN GOOD HEALTH ☀️ . Drop-Off Screening The 10 minute drop-off checks health, temperament while also noting pre-existing limps or injuries. These pre-existing things might not be covered if theres a claim. We meet in the park near my place to coordinate. . Managing the pack I feed Rover dogs separately in a closed-door basement, giving them space to decompress if needed. My dogs are non-territorial, and your pup gets individual bonding time with me using their own toys and blankets. Bringing a shirt with your scent can also be comforting. . Drop-Off Routine I’ll have an agreement if it’s your first stay. I only accept fully housetrained, un-injured, not sick dogs and appreciate punctuality :) . Safe & Friendly Pack Environment Your dog will join a happy, non-reactive pack. With each booking I cross reference compatibility of breeding-based behaviour traits with the other dogs that they'll mix with. . We hike daily on beautiful trails accessed directly from my house. . I strive to be the dog sitter you can trust and understand the stress of leaving your pup with someone new. . WALKING - always on leash with situational awareness and we don’t socialize with dogs we meet on trail or go to the dog park . No meet and greets, I integrate as part of on-boarding. . DAY-CARE and DROP-IN VISITS are available in Parksville, Qualicum Beach and Bowser/Dunsmuir areas. . HOUSE SITTING private bedroom with comfortable bed and clean bedding is required for overnight stays, and my three dogs might sometimes need to come depending on dates. Alternatively I can house sit staying off site with visits and walks every few hours plus feeding, morning, evening routines, if your house is in Oceanside
