As an experienced pet caregiver with over two years on Rover, I’m passionate about providing professional, compassionate care for all animals. Growing up with cats, aquariums, and small rodents taught me empathy and respect for pets of all kinds. I now care for my Snowshoe Siamese, Preston, and my Border Collie, Brewer, giving me firsthand experience with both senior and high-energy pets. I’m skilled in raw food handling, attentive to special needs, and committed to ensuring your pet feels happy and loved while you’re away. I’d be honoured to care for your furry family member!

For cats, I’ll happily make visits to your home but wouldn’t be able to have your cat come to mine. With dogs, I’d prefer to care for them in your home and take them out for daily hikes or walks. Am willing to care for small pets such as guinea pigs, bunnies, or hamsters in your home. Please message for special rates.

This was our first time using Rover and Janelle has made it an excellent experience. She is a great communicator and kept us updated the entire time we were away. At our pre-trip meet and greet, she asked pertinent questions and I could tell that she was a proactive listener and paid attention to details. Upon returning home from our trip, our pets were happy and relaxed. We will definitely book Janelle again if she’s available.

Schedule
I work Monday to Friday 9-4:30 although have some flexibility if needing to adjust my hours. My preference would be morning visits, evening visits, or weekends any time.
