Since June 2026, I am a VIU Criminology alumni! At the moment, I am away in Northwestern Ontario helping with wildfire operations, as a fire ranger. I look forward to resuming Rover bookings in October and caring for your pets again! My schedule is generally very flexible, allowing me to provide reliable care for your pets. A typical day
A typical day with me is full of adventure, exercise, and plenty of attention! If permitted, I’d love to bring your pup along to explore the beautiful trails around town. I love spending time outdoors and lead a very active lifestyle. I regularly take the dogs I volunteer and work with on a variety of trails, giving them the opportunity to explore new environments, use all of their senses, and enjoy plenty of physical and mental stimulation. Every outing is tailored to your dog’s energy level and comfort, ensuring they have a fun, safe, and enriching experience.

Pet care experience
Growing up, I always had dogs and cats. When I moved to Nanaimo for school, I missed my pets so much that I started volunteering with ElderDog Nanaimo in 2022. I joined Rover three years ago, and it’s been an amazing journey! Since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities: from confident, easygoing pups to those who need extra patience, trust, and understanding. I’ve loved getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I also completed my 208-hour criminology practicum with the BC SPCA, where I worked closely with dogs and cats, learning about their behaviour, backgrounds, and individual needs. I helped administer medication, provided daily care, and gave them the love and support they needed as they prepared to find their forever homes.
