About: My core belief is that every cat deserves a purr-fect vacation while you're away. I don’t just scoop litter; I dig deeper. My mission is to ensure your cat feels fur-midable, safe, and loved—or at least tolerates me until you get back. I operate on a strict no-hiss-tory policy: I respect their personal space and only engage when they give me the green tail-light.

About: I genuinely love cats, having owned three very different equally beloved cats in my life, and understand that their needs are very different from dogs. I’m comfortable caring for shy, independent, or more sensitive cats and always let them set the pace when it comes to interaction. I pay close attention to behaviour, appetite, and litter habits, and I’m careful to keep their environment clean, calm, and consistent. Whether your cat is social and playful or prefers space and quiet, I adjust my approach to make them feel safe and undisturbed. I’m also experienced giving basic medications if needed and am happy to follow detailed care instructions. My goal is simple: low-stress, reliable care that keeps your cat comfortable in their own space.

“Thank you, Allison for taking good care of Honey's food, medicine, litter and cuddles while I was away! I appreciate your excellent communication, and also taking care of the house too. Honey and I look forward to next time!”

“Jessica is amazing with my pup, Molly! She clearly loves dogs and takes such good care of her. Many walks during the day and reporting back to me with photos, which is very much appreciated. My dog is 12 lbs and adores her dog, Sheriff who is a 75 lb black lab. I don’t think Molly knows she’s small lol. I take her there once a week and I know she will have a fun filled day. I highly recommend Jessica as a caregiver for your pet - she’s great!”

“Amy was great to book with and made it easy for me as I was visiting from out of town! She was able to accommodate a last minute daycare booking so I could go fishing with my Dad. She was fast and easy to communicate with and made the booking process easy and stress free. I would highly recommend booking with Amy.”

“We all liked Courtenay right off the bat, especially Phoebe, and we felt very comfortable leaving Phoebe with her. We tried a two-hour sample stay first and that went very well so the full days that we needed puppy day-care were an easy transition. Courtenay made sure Phoebe was comfortable and busy so she didn’t have time to miss us, and her whole family was also involved so our little girl had a great time. We will definitely leave Phoebe with Courtenay again when needed ✨ thanks Courtenay and fam!”

“Jazzy and Simon enjoyed their day with Alicia and Rey and jazzy came home tuckered out . Look forward to the next visit . Thank you Alicia for loving jazzy and Simon as your own .”

“Shawneen was very accommodating and clearly very relaxed around dogs. My Westies had a good day, and they were both tired when they got home. She is in a good location for me. Kathy K”

About: I am a warm and loving pet enthusiast with a lifetime of experience caring for dogs. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my life with 14 dogs of my own and fostering many more. My journey has taken me from walking packs on the beaches of Australia, to the stunning Andalusian mountains and now the exquisite trails on the West Coast of Canada. Known by many as a “dog whisperer,” I have a natural ability to connect with dogs, who are instinctively drawn to me. Currently, I enjoy walking two beautiful Border Collies alongside my own Beagle, and on some days, I can be found in the woods with a joyful pack of four or five furry companions. My love for animals extends beyond pet care—I also help people navigate the grief of losing a beloved pet through my hypnotherapy practice. Every dog in my care holds a special place in my heart, and I am deeply committed to ensuring they feel safe, loved, and happy. I am a Hypnotherapy Practitioner, specializing in pet loss. I work both from home and online, which allows me the flexibility to align my schedule with pet-sitting commitments. This means I can dedicate plenty of one-on-one attention to your pet, ensuring they feel loved and cared for. While in my care, your furry friend will enjoy long walks, playtime in our secure, fenced yard, and plenty of companionship, so they never feel alone. Their happiness and well-being are my top priorities, and I’m committed to making their time with me as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I have a fully fenced and secure yard, where your pet can enjoy playtime with my Beagle, who is very sociable and polite. My home is inviting and welcoming. All dogs that I’ve had stay have been comfortable and happy.
“We have a somewhat difficult 5-month-old puppy, and initially, we were not sure how she would do elsewhere for the day, but Shay, Matt, and Chacho are truly wonderful and accommodated us in every way from our initial meet and greet and through the visit with regular updates. I think we were more worried about the separation than our puppy was, it seemed like she had a great day! We are truly at ease sending away”

“Thank you so much for taking care of my boys! They were so good with sending frequent photos and check ins. Will be using them again. They even watched our foster puppy for free- thank you for paying it forward!”

“Dorothy is very accommodating and is great at calming anxious dogs. I was pleased at the end of the day to find my dog was relaxed and obviously tired which tells me he had walks and play. Thank you Dorothy!?”

About: Lost my reactive dog in 2025 and looking to open my house to dogs/cats who excel in home boarding. I work from home and miss having a pet during the day. My kids are young but dog smart due to having grown up near a reactive dog. I have worked in dog/cat kennels, volunteered with the BCSPCA, fostered a mamma dog and her 6 puppies when only 1 week old and have developed my reactive dog skills over the past 15+ years. Love all dogs large and small. I work from home so available throughout the day for the animals needs. My schedule is quite flexible on weekends and weekdays and I can accommodate most requests. I have a 6ft fenced in back yard, areas for animals to have calm time and an open floor plan. My kids are home in the afternoon/evening and weekends but we live in a split house and can accommodate separation if needed.

About: I’ve been a dog lover and owner my entire life. Since moving out to Squamish I have been without my pups and I miss having those little balls of joy running around me all the time. I would love to care for your pups like they’re my own and give them all the love and attention they deserve. I am very comfortable with dogs of all kinds and have done multiple training sessions with my own dogs so I am aware of how to handle different situations. I have also previously participated in a dog enrichment program with the Edmonton Humane Society which was so fulfilling and educational. I hope to take all my knowledge and experience and use it towards helping you and your dogs live happy and healthy lives. I currently work full time from home Monday-Friday so getting outside for a walk during the day is a nice refreshment for me. Working from home also gives me the flexibility to watch your dog in the comfort of your home if you require longer duration dog sitting. I am happy to come into your home to spend time with your pup so that they are most comfortable and follow any house rules that you have set. I am also happy to just play with them in your backyard or take them out for a walk, whatever you prefer!
“Deborah was great with my puppy! She spent extra time getting to know my puppy as it was their first meet up. She was punctual, great at communicating and responding quickly, and followed instructions perfectly. I felt very comfortable leaving my puppy in her care and will be requesting her services in the future!”

“I called Christina very last minute and she arranged a meet and greet right away and then came the next day for a walk. I was so grateful to have her come and Gus seemed calm and happy when I got home. I would definitely ask her back”

“I had an emergency that required me to quickly find someone who could walk my semi-reactive dog while I was visiting the Sunshine Coast. Someone I respected referred me to Cindy's Rover profile. In my initial contact with Cindy she was clearly a mature, confident and experienced dog person who I could trust letting into my place and to care for my dog. She did a great job caring for Tater and when I actually got to meet her it was clear she had the skills to quickly developed a positive, trusting bond with him in a short period of time. I was lucky to find her and she made a stressful situation much less stressful. Thank you, Cindy! Highly recommended!”

About: Animals have been my passion and career for over 10 years. My background includes working in dog daycares, veterinary medicine, and animal control, giving me experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. As a stay-at-home mom, I'm home throughout the day and can provide plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I've welcomed many dogs into my home over the years and treat every pet like family. I currently have one dog and three cats, so my only requirement is that visiting dogs are social and comfortable around other animals. I look forward to giving your pet a safe, loving home away from home! As a stay-at-home mom to one child, I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. This allows me to provide plenty of supervision, attention, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day, ensuring your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. Your pet will be treated like part of the family while in my care. As a stay-at-home mom, I am home most of the day and can provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, feeding, medication administration if needed, and lots of attention. Dogs will have access to a safe, comfortable home environment and plenty of supervised interaction. I have one dog and three cats, so I only accept dogs that are social and comfortable around other animals. My goal is to make your pet feel relaxed, loved, and at home while you're away.
“Was excellent with my anxious dog, took him in last minute when my usual sitter canceled. Goose hates the car and I had just drove with him for 4 hours in the car before I handed him off, which he was also anxious about, but he ended up chilling out and snuggling with Karuna at night. I super recommend Karuna”

“Dorothy took excellent care of our dog. She sent photo updates regularly which showed how relaxed and at ease our dog was in Dorothy's home. We know our dog is in the best of care with Dorothy and will hopefully book with her many more times in the future.”

“Joanne was a great host for Wallace. He is quite anxious, but he took to her immediately - she is clearly a dog person. Joanne shared many photos with us with regular updates. Very happy overall.”

“Shay, Matt and Chacho were so accommodating to Nala at their home. Nala went away with Shay happily excited to play with Chacho. Although she didn’t play so much with Chacho, we learnt that she got super comfy with all of them with a lot of cuddle time. Shay and Matt took Nala and Chacho on 2 great hikes in 2 days. She came home a tired pup which is a sign of all the fun and exercise she got with them. Shay was very responsive and kept us updated with photos throughout. We would trust them to take care of Nala anytime.”
