Dog parents to a cool Dood!
My partner, Germain, and I are the proud dog parents to our goldendoodle, Milo. Both Germain and I have always grown up with animals in our lives- we are very comfortable dogs of all sizes and ages. We are animal lovers and your pet is our number one priority when they are under our watch. There will always be someone home + Milo, so your dog will never feel lonely and will always have someone to cuddle with. I live close to a park and to tons of trails. I also have a vehicle, so the options for adventures are endless!! I have experience with: - training dogs new tricks - administrating pills - bathing dogs - taking care of puppies

Karen was so kind and right away our very shy dog warmed up to her. Within minutes of us leaving our place, Karen sent us a picture of her giving our dog belly rubs. I really recommend Karen!!
Karen has been great with Lizzie who can be a little bit shy. She seems to have a very comfortable way with dogs.

This was the second time we’ve booked Karen to watch our dog, and it’s been wonderful again. Right when we arrived, Milky actually seemed to recognize her – tail wagging, excited to go inside – which immediately put me at ease. She’s incredibly friendly and clearly genuinely cares about animals. Throughout the stay, she sent me photo updates, which I really appreciated. It was such a comfort seeing my dog happy and relaxed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, loving dog sitter. We’ll definitely be booking her again!

Schedule
I currently work full time in the village on the week days but am available evenings and weekends to care for your pup. I update my schedule regularly

Safety, trust & environment
I have a dog of my own that can keep your pup company- instant best friends! I also have a baby gate to block access to my stairs so that I can keep an eye on your pup while they play or explore my house. I also have a crate available to create a safe and cozy space for your pup if that would make them feel more comfortable
Pets
A typical day
I love going for walks and hikes around Whistler and surrounding area. I like to balance the day with adventure then some rest and relaxation. A day with me would look like a balance of outdoor adventure mixed with some indoor play or mental stimulation, then some time to rest and recharge (and of course regular meal times). I am happy to structure my day around your dog's needs and preferences
