About: I grew up on a suburban farm, we always had at least 2 dogs around. I live in a very dog very friendly house, access to lakes, hiking trails and dog friendly parks. I’m lucky to have a very flexible schedule and just love having dogs around. Taking care of your dog and ensuring it’s is happy and safe are a top priority to me. I live with my boyfriend and we both have very flexible schedules, we love getting outside in nature and enjoying trail walks. Cuddles on the couch with down time are just as appealing. We always like to acclimate any pet we have by going for a nice walk around. We are very aware of any temperament and happy to take our time to make sure your dog is happy and comfortable.
7. Natasha & Jacob W.
About: I love dogs and have helped care for lots of dogs, high and low energy, reactive and easy-going. My own dog is great with other dogs and would love to hang out with yours! I work from home and would love to take walk or cuddle breaks with your pup. I work from home on weekdays and can take lots of dog-walk breaks, which I already do to accommodate my own dog. My partner runs his own business and is also home a lot of the time during the days. We both love to spend time outside and are always looking for an excuse to get out and about away from our computers! We have a condo in Pioneer Junction and take lots of walks to One Mile lake and on the surrounding trails. Our dog sleeps on a bed in the living room, but we're happy to have a dog sleep in our bedroom with us or to accommodate a crate if needed.
8. Jennifer C.
“Jennie has numerous years of experience working with animals. I've known Jennie for 6 years in both a professional and personal capacity. She has such a wide range of knowledge when it comes to various species. I've used Jennie to look after my pets before which include: - dog (cockerpoo) - snake (royal python) - lizard (bearded dragon) - tortoise (horsfield) - chickens (polish, brahma, silkies, cochin and pekin) - invertebrate species (stick insects, beetles and millipedes) I'm always impressed with the care and attention that Jennie gives to animals and her work. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to look after their pet.”
9. Colin M.
“Colin is a very helpful, caring, and respectful gentleman. He absolutely loves making people and puppies happy. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a little extra help with their dog. He is also very helpful with dog training”
10. Berenice M.
“Berenice loves pets, but the main thing to know about her is her extensive knowledge about dog breeds. She is also married to nurse who is therefore very knowledgeable about first aid and medications/injections for the safety of your pet. She also has a car that is adapted for pet transportation”
11. Roxann B.
“Roxann is great! Rolo has the best day when he goes with her. The pictures and updates through out the day gave me extra piece of mind. I would definitely use her again.”
12. Fernanda R.
“Fernanda has looked after my dog a few times now, and I couldn’t be happier. My dog absolutely loves her! She’s attentive, reliable, sent regular updates and really knows how to handle animals with care. Highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”
13. Emeline P.
About: I am Emeline, a french woman in British Columbia. I am travelling around Canada since September 2023 in my van. In France, I have a cat, Giny, and I really miss him. I used to be cat's host family and always had different friends for Giny in our home. I was also a dogsitter during 2 years before living France. Here, in Canada, I have many experiences as house-sitter and dog-sitter. I spent a month doing it with different types of dogs (Shih Tzu, Newfoundland, Cocker). When I arrived in Canada, I worked for a month with a musher and his 40 huskies and baby huskies to help him everyday with feeding, cleaning, walking them and doing some training. Really enjoyed those adventures ! I am now in Whistler, working as a housekeeper for the winter season. My schedule isn't the same along the weeks, so I can be available on weekends and holidays. I'm taking care of pets in their own environment. We can communicate about their habits so everyone can be more comfortable. It is important for me to be comfortable with you and your pets, so I need to know some informations about us like habits, needs, orders they know, etc.
14. Natalia K.
“Natalia looked after our kitten and dog earlier in the year and looked after both of them really well, taking the dog out for long walks and keeping the kitten entertained and cared for. I would have no issues asking her in the future. Thanks Natalia!”
15. Elene Q.
“Elene is very professional, punctual and affectionate with my dog. She sent me videos and kept me informed at all times. I recommend her 100%!!”
16. Olivia D.
“Olivia is truly one of the best dog walkers I’ve seen to date! Georgia, my English Mastiff, absolutely adores her. Olivia takes such good care of her when we are away and Georgia gets lots of walks and love when she’s over. Olivia is so insightful of great dog parks and new trails, it’s always a pleasure working with her! 10/10 would recommend!”
17. Tyler L.
About: I work from home and don't always get out enough so walking my friends' dogs have always been a good motivator. I have always loved dogs, but could never own one as a child. While I was in university I took care of a golden retriever with my roommates for four years. I’m available at most times, since I work from home. I can easily adjust my schedule to free up time for any necessary doggie bathroom schedules. I would love to own a dog but I’m at a point in my life where I travel too much and it is just really not possible, so this is the next best thing for me to be able to spend time with dogs! Since I work from home, I am free most of the time, but will occasionally block off some days where I have virtual meetings schedules I have tile floors, and live with easy access to a small yard for potty breaks. I am familiar with the trails around whistler and the leash laws.
18. Anna P.
About: Hi, thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I have plenty of experience with dogs including looking after my own dog, Charlie. I also grew up boarding guide dogs which involved looking after them and training them to become guide dogs for the blind. Having moved here from the UK, I’m missing my dog and would love to help out here with dog walking and dog sitting! I love being outdoors and am always active so your dog will definitely be well-exercised and they will receive plenty of attention! I look forward to hearing from you and can’t wait to meet your dog!! I have a full time job starting 15th December but am available evenings after 6pm and all day on Mondays and Tuesdays. I can be flexible with work so please message me if this doesn’t suit you and we can make something work. Unfortunately I cannot take pets in my home as it is a rental but happy to come to your home. I don’t have a car so all walks would be local.
19. Charles V.
“Charles is exceptional with dogs. He has been taking care of someone’s dog for the last 3 months and treats him like his own. He takes them out for long walks and loves to cuddle with them”
20. Angela C.
“When Angela was in school, she looked after my dog while I was away. She fed and walked him before and after school. Angela was always punctual, friendly and reliable. I recommend Angela to care for your pet in any role.”
