About: I’m a very active person who loves to run and walk in the woods. I would be so excited to bring some dogs along with me on my runs and walks! I grew up with dogs and have a lot of experience caring for other people’s pets in their homes. I am versed in dog training methods, as I raised and trained a puppy for my parents a few years ago. I am available in the morning and during the day several days a week, and am generally pretty flexible in my schedule. I am able to check in on a pet throughout the day, or stay at home with them if need be! I’d be so excited to spend some time with your dog while you’re away!

About: I work from home and love the outdoors and going for walks with furry friends! I have years of experience working with cats, dogs, and horses and am happy to help with training through positive reinforcement and creating a fun space for your pets! I have a golden retrieve dog of my own who loves making new friends and tagging along for walks. He is also very content with staying home if your pup prefers to walk alone. I work from home so pet care is easy! Your little one will never be left alone and will have my friendly golden retriever to also keep them company. Walks during the day happen in the morning, afternoon and evening. I have a friendly dog to keep your little one company as well as do multiple on leashes dog walks per day. Working from home allows me to stay with your pet for the whole day and keep an eye on exactly what they need- potty breaks, more water, a little snack is no problem.

About: I love dogs and have helped care for lots of dogs, high and low energy, reactive and easy-going. My own dog is great with other dogs and would love to hang out with yours! I work from home and would love to take walk or cuddle breaks with your pup. I work from home on weekdays and can take lots of dog-walk breaks, which I already do to accommodate my own dog. My partner runs his own business and is also home a lot of the time during the days. We both love to spend time outside and are always looking for an excuse to get out and about away from our computers! We have a condo in Pioneer Junction and take lots of walks to One Mile lake and on the surrounding trails. Our dog sleeps on a bed in the living room, but we're happy to have a dog sleep in our bedroom with us or to accommodate a crate if needed.

About: A bit of a doggo paradise, we have half an acre fully fenced in. I am studying online from home and mostly work from home so can take frequent breaks to play with your pet and provide potty breaks when needed. They are also welcome to roam/play in the yard safely if they prefer to just chill and be outside. I have had animals my entire life and understand how much they mean to you. I am currently studying online from home so have a very flexible schedule to accomodate most pet needs. I sometimes have to pop out for work but will only leave 4-5 hours at a time at most. Must be well behaved and well mannered with other dogs as I have a 2 year old Aussie Shepherd. We also have a cat in the home now who is ok with dogs. I have a huge fenced in yard for dogs to play. My dog, Howie, is fixed, very respectful and playful yet submissive with other dogs. We welcome respectful pets into our home for boarding and will respect all of your rules when walking your pets to ensure no bad habits are formed.

About: I have been professionally and personally working with animals for forever. I have worked in rescue centres and zoos. I also have behavioural training experience. I am currently working as a remote ecologist during the week so my schedule is really flexible. I am happy to do the occasional evening, weekend and holiday. Unfortunately, where I live doesn't allow any pets. However, I am happy to come to do drop ins or stayovers at the pets home and/or walk animals.

About: Animals have always been part of my family — I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was little, and I love giving them the same attention I’d give my own pets. I’ve looked after everything from playful kittens and energetic puppies to sweet seniors who just need a little extra patience and comfort. Spending time with animals is honestly one of my favourite parts of the day. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to keep their routine as close to normal as possible. I follow your instructions for feeding, litter or bathroom breaks, walks, playtime, and any comfort habits your pet loves. I make sure they get attention, stimulation, and lots of reassurance so they feel safe while you’re away. I also keep things clean, send updates, and treat your home with the same respect I treat the pets. My goal is to make your pet feel relaxed and cared for, just like they would with you.

About: Hi! I’m Jenny! 🌻 I’ve been professionally dog sitting and walking for 9 years now. I have 20 years experience taking care of dogs and cats. I love the playful energy that they bring into people’s lives. While living in Nelson, I dog/house sat for over a 60 different families and had amazing experiences. Some of the dog owners even call me “Aunty Jenny”! I’m Head of Creative Partnerships and work in the retreat industry. So my hours are flexible and I can work wherever there is wifi! When I take care of dogs, I can bring them everywhere and on a lot of adventures whether it be the beach to play fetch, a long hike or run or to the dog park. I would love to own a dog, but I am still waiting until my travel bug settles down. Right now, I have to get my pup cuddles elsewhere :) I can pet/house sit any day during the week. I and go for 3-4 walks a day with the doggos (if they are able) I’m currently not allowed to have pets in my apartment, so I would have to come to you! Happy to travel into Vancouver, and can travel to the lower mainland, the Island, the gulf islands, Whistler or elsewhere as well and would request that travel/ferry fees are covered. I also have extensive experience working with reactive, timid/traumatized/anxious, and elderly dogs and cats. Some owners say that I have a calming energy that many pets feel grounded around (which feels nice!) I also am a plant and garden lover and will ensure that any greenery be taken care of! About: I have a genuine love for animals and have proven to be a trustworthy owner and pet sitter. I owned a dog/cats for 10+ years My time right now is quite flexible as I am a wedding photographer with very few bookings. I would be available for in house sitting. About: Not only do I always give out affection to dogs I meet and love I’m currently on the other side of the world to my own fur baby and miss spoiling and making her happy so I’d love to enlighten a dog that is sitting at home but taking them out or enjoying each others company at home. I work full time at a bar but am very active and prioritise fitness including walking and running so I’d love to bring a dog sitting at home along with me to enlighten both our days with each others company. I’d love to do this also by chilling at home together. My house spent have a yard so sitting at the clients home would ideally be better for the pet however I understand that might not be an option but staying in my home and ensuring we still get outside lots when I’m sitting is not a problem.

About: I am currently working at a vet in Squamish and have been for 7 months. I have volunteered at SPCA’s as well as always owning an animal. I have worked with behavioural dogs as well as a range of sizes and breeds I work 5 days in Squamish and drive back to Whistler. I am more than happy to help with appointments as well. I am very flexible and always happy to help :) I will always provide a safe environment for my clients as I know how special our fur babies are to us. I want my clients to never have to worry!

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience, 400 hours apprenticeship in a vets office and 2 years of studying vet tech in university. I have experience with blind animals, special care animals, etc. I have a very flexible schedule and I am open to pet care and house sitting during the week and on weekends. I own my own business so I am able to work flexibly. I can walk pets, have experience administering medications if needed (2 years vet tech experience), I can easily put on leashes and crate animals if needed. I have experience with shy animals as well.

About: In my lifetime I grew up with 7 cats of multiple characters, a childhood with Alsatian’s / German shepherds and an adulthood with 4 pugs. I am well versed in diverse care for different breeds . I know how to play with , care for, feed and nurture most animals. I work online and can take my work anywhere! I loving cycling running, explorative walks or relaxing at home and enjoy them all the more when with an animal companion. I follow your guidelines first and foremost and endeavour to respect the new relationship I am building with your pet, taking my time to get to know them and acquaint myself in your space.
