“Jenna and her partner were great with Kevin. He spent 3 days and 2 nights with them and seemed to settle in really well despite his anxious tendencies. We felt at ease while away knowing they were doting on him as much as we do. On pick-up day, the highway was backed up for hours but Jenna was happy to keep him longer until we could safely get to their house, which was so appreciated. Thanks Jenna!”

About: I have looked after dogs and cats for many years. While I don’t have a dog at home currently (my last dog, Iggy, an Australian Kelpie passed away in March at 15 years old) I would like to welcome fur babies from time to time. I work part time from home so I have plenty of time to look after doggies. It’s just my 9 year old daughter and myself and we both adore 4 legged companions. I live on a quiet cul-de-suc with plenty of greenery and snow in winter with a dog park near by (walking distance). I offer plenty of short outdoor breaks or long walks (whatever the preference is). I can provide regular updates and plenty of pictures/videos. I am happy to look after senior dogs or puppies as I have experienced with both.

Also welcomed my big girl with open arms and no judgement which is great! Rebecca is very responsive and always sends check in pictures. My favourite was one of her reading a book and Lexi was right beside her - 'Story Time'. Another great thing is she works from home which is needed due to my dogs anxiety. They were instant cuddle buddies! Thank you again for being you and taking care such great care of my baby! Big hugs <3”
“Jade and her partner were incredibly caring with our pooch. They took her on lot's of adventures, and kept us updated with fun stories and pictures. “Carla, Jeremy, Poppy and Mavi were just amazing with Roxy. We could tell Roxy was getting as much love and attention as she does at home. We would highly recommend them to dog sit, dog walk or board anytime. Thanks so much. Roxy is looking forward to her next visit.”

About: I’ve loved caring for animals since I was a teenager, starting with my beloved sausage dog (even if some say they’re not “real” dogs!). Since moving to Whistler, I’ve regularly dog-sat for friends whenever they traveled and couldn’t bring their pups along. For the past two years, my partner and I have had a hedgehog, but since he’s nocturnal, I’ve definitely felt a bit of an “attention void” during the day—so I’d love to give your pet all the care and affection they deserve! I work from home as a sales rep for a pool construction company, and ever since COVID, all my meetings happen online, over the phone, or through email. That means I’m home most of the time, which makes it easy to give your doggie plenty of attention throughout the day! We live in a house with a spacious living room where pets can relax and feel at home when I’m pet-sitting. Our neighborhood is perfect for dogs, with dog parks and forest trails just a few minutes away—so your furry friend will get plenty of walks and outdoor time! Even while I’m working, I always keep an eye on them to make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting the attention they need.
“We left our two young pups (8 mos. old and 2 yrs old) with Sophie and her partner, Rob, while we spent three days skiing at Whistler. We could not have felt more comfortable with placing the dogs in their care. They were welcoming and bonded with our dogs quickly. We received photos and updates daily. There is nothing that could have made our vacation more pleasant and stress-free than knowing that our dogs were safe, well cared for and in great hands. This dynamic duo of Sophie and Rob are highly recommended!”

About: Hi! I’m Jenny! 🌻 I’ve been professionally dog sitting and walking for 9 years now. I have 20 years experience taking care of dogs and cats. I love the playful energy that they bring into people’s lives. While living in Nelson, I dog/house sat for over a 60 different families and had amazing experiences. Some of the dog owners even call me “Aunty Jenny”! I’m Head of Creative Partnerships and work in the retreat industry. So my hours are flexible and I can work wherever there is wifi! When I take care of dogs, I can bring them everywhere and on a lot of adventures whether it be the beach to play fetch, a long hike or run or to the dog park. I would love to own a dog, but I am still waiting until my travel bug settles down. Right now, I have to get my pup cuddles elsewhere :) I can pet/house sit any day during the week. I and go for 3-4 walks a day with the doggos (if they are able) I’m currently not allowed to have pets in my apartment, so I would have to come to you! Happy to travel into Vancouver, and can travel to the lower mainland, the Island, the gulf islands, Whistler or elsewhere as well and would request that travel/ferry fees are covered. I also have extensive experience working with reactive, timid/traumatized/anxious, and elderly dogs and cats. Some owners say that I have a calming energy that many pets feel grounded around (which feels nice!) I also am a plant and garden lover and will ensure that any greenery be taken care of! Rest assured, your plants, place and pets will be safe and happy with me! I look forward to connecting with you and your furry family members. 🤍 * PS I split my time between North Van and Whistler, so you can see my other profile with 22, 5 star reviews here: https://www.rover.com/members/jenalle-d-happiest-outsidejust-like-your-pup/?service_type=drop-in&frequency=onetime&pet_type=dog#reviews I’m currently working remotely part time so I have ample time to take your dog for walks. I can work anywhere that has a wifi password so I am always around the animals. At this time I’m not allowed dogs in my building, so I will have to come to you! I am home working remotely which is an added bonus so pets are not left alone for long periods of time.

About: My passion for dogs started at an early age as I grew up on a farm in the UK with seven dogs, a wonderful mix of working breeds like Labradors, collies and spaniels, plus a couple of spirited Jack Russell's who ruled the pack. Today, I share my home with Peanut, an 9lb Chihuahua who loves naps, sunshine, people and gets along well with other calm dogs. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of breeds and sizes—from toy poodles to Newfoundlands, pointers, Staffordshire bull terriers, and countless loveable mixes. This experience allows me to adapt to each dog’s personality and needs. What I Offer I work from home full-time, so your dog will never be left alone. Here’s what you can expect: ✔ Regular walks ✔ Playtime and enrichment activities ✔ Plenty of cuddles and companionship Whether your pup needs a calm, safe space or an energetic adventure, I’ll tailor their care to suit their temperament and preferences. Just let me know what makes your dog happiest. Please note: Due to the size of my small dog, I cannot accommodate dogs in my home that have a strong prey drive. Why Choose Me I’m trustworthy, attentive, and respectful. When house or dog sitting, I treat your home and pets as if they were my own—providing comfort, security, and privacy at all times. My goal is to deliver the 5-star level of care you expect for your beloved companion. ✅ Need a hand with your dog care? Let’s connect! I work from home so can offer all day companionship to your furry friend, plus regular walks and bathroom breaks. There is room in my office for them to hang out with me, or they can choose their favorite spot in the apartment. My schedule is mainly open on week days, but I can accommodate some weekends (advanced notice helps!), so please feel free to enquire about weekends even if they aren't showing. If you have specific directions and instructions to keep your dog safe or happy, I will ensure to follow these. I always use my intuition and experience with dogs to ensure they are happy and relaxed when in my care, whether that is sitting with them, giving them space, taking them for a walk, or anything else they may need. They are all individuals and I will always respect their boundaries to ensure they feel safe and relaxed.
“Michael was a great choice for dog sitting Beans, and was very flexible with our changing plans. Beans had a great time. Would definitely book again if we’re in Whistler and recommend him to a friend.”

“Jenna was fantastic to work with. Our pup loved her and her communication was great. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable trustworthy pup sitter when in Whistler. Thank you”

“Carla and her family are a great choice for a pup sitter! They had my dog, Maudie, for 3 days over Spring Break while we skied. They were super flexible with dates and times and Maudie loved them! After the first day she was practically pulling me off my feet to get to their front door at drop off time. They took her for long walks and adventures and she came home tired at the end of the day! They obviously really love dogs and were a breeze to communicate with! Highly recommend.”

“Sophie was wonderful! My Golden Retriever Jackson adored her. She was reliable, flexible, conscious and outstanding with communication. Also appreciated her partner Rob working with Jackson on leash walking. Would definitely recommend her to take care of your pet while in Whistler.”

About: I started pet-sitting when my beloved cat Briciola passed away. I was missing her so much but couldn’t get another cat as I was traveling all the time, so I posted an ad and had the chance to look after three adorable cats while I was studying in Bologna. When I first moved to Berlin I used to walk my host family’s dog Flora every morning and every noon. I would take her to the lake for a 20/30-minute walk. Last summer 2017 my mom and I rescued a little dog in Italy we named Gigio who’s now our sweetheart! He loves to go on the beach in the early morning to take long walks along the shore; he loves to play and he’s such a fountain of love and happiness. I’m currently working full time, so please, send me a message before booking service. I will do my best to accommodate your and your pet’s needs. I live in a fairly big apartment with my partner. We do not have a yard but a small balcony. We keep the door closed all times if pets are around. I also always make sure your pet is under my supervision .

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and grew up with two much-loved family dogs. When we welcomed a new puppy into the family, I was so eager to learn about training that I took our puppy to obedience classes myself at just 10 years old. In recent years I've cared for friends' dogs and cats, whether for a day, a week, or longer. This has included dog walking, meal times, and even house sitting. I also have my own beautiful dog, who joined our family two years ago and keeps me active with plenty of walks, playtime, and adventures. My work schedule is varied so take a look and see if my availability suits yours! I would be happy to support you for a one off walk, or to create a weekly routine. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and understand the importance of providing them with reliable, loving, and attentive care while their owners are away, busy at work, or just needing a helping hand.
“Chad is great with my dog Willie, and is able to understand and work with some of his trickier behaviours. Chad’s dogs are super sweet and easy going, and my pup (who doesn’t love everybody!) gets along great with them. I’d recommend Chad to anyone!”

About: Hi, I'm Ingrid, a passionate pet sitter and dog walker with over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds. I’ve served many dog owners, offering personalized care that caters to each pet's unique personality and needs. Whether it’s helping anxious pups feel at ease or ensuring pets with special diets are happy and healthy, I go the extra mile to ensure your furry family members feel safe and loved while you're away. While traveling, I've had the opportunity to petsit and care for pets and homes across Canada, the U.S., and Australia, building trust with pet owners who value my reliability and genuine love for animals. Now based in beautiful Squamish, I live in a pet-friendly townhouse with plenty of space for playtime and relaxation. There’s also a peaceful park and a forest nearby where dogs can run and explore freely. I’m here to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment to your pet. I’d love the opportunity to meet your furry companions and give them the same love and attention they deserve! I'm quite active and enjoy regular walks throughout the day, which is even more enjoyable with a dog by my side! As a professional dog walker, I often take groups of up to six dogs on adventures in the mountains and forests. If there’s space available, your pup can join in on the fun! I also offer individual walks for dogs who prefer a quieter experience, so rest assured, I can accommodate their needs. I provide personalized pet care in both my home and my clients' homes, ensuring a safe and loving environment for every pet. In my home, I have a pet-friendly townhouse with ample space for play and relaxation, along with access to nearby parks and trails where we can explore together. When caring for pets, I prioritize their individual needs, whether that means adhering to specific dietary requirements, providing extra attention for anxious pets, or maintaining their usual routines. I also ensure that each pet feels secure and loved, whether they’re enjoying group walks on the trails or receiving one-on-one attention at home. Communication is key, so I keep pet owners updated with photos and messages to reassure them that their furry family members are happy and well cared for.
