“Allison always replies promptly, gives updates on Burkley and leaves the place looking the same as how I left it. I’m a return customer and I will continue to be! I would recommend her.”

“Cass took excellent care of my cat Sitka and my home while I was gone. She sent lots of updates and really made the effort to play with Sitka and make her feel at ease while I was away.”

“Heather graciously stayed at my home with Meeka over the holidays while I was away. She communicated frequently with updates and was very accommodating and flexible when I had issues with my flight back home. I would book with Heather again!”

About: I have loved having fur family in my life for 35 years. We shared our love with many cats over the years, 3 brothers when we couldn’t separate the brothers when we went to rescue a cat from the SPCA,… and have been blessed to enjoy 16 wonderful years sharing our love with our beloved Lucy, a yellow lab that loved long walks at Bonniebrook daily. We now enjoy sharing our love with a Mexican rescue who is now 7. As an artist I have also shared my passion and love for animals through my art, creating memory works for many friends, family and others. I will be the sole caretaker of your pet and look forward to getting to know your fur family and bringing them joy when you are not around to do so. I’m currently semi retired and only working sporadic work and mostly work from home so I’m free to share my time with your loved fur family As our current dog is a rescue with high anxiety, I would avoid bringing dogs into our home as it would create unneeded stress on our dog. I love to sit with them closely but understand that some animals need their own space.
“Having Deborah come and look after our Dog Poppy and our Home was a fantastic experience! Daily photo updates on what our Poppy was getting up to, and the peace of mind knowing our home was in great hands was invaluable, especially during a particularly cold snap in Southern Alberta. We were grateful knowing that our Pup was being cared for, walked and cuddled - all of which allowed us to truly unwind and relax on our vacation. We would definitely book Deborah again! Poppy made a furever friend.”

“Julie is the best dog sitter I could have asked for. She stayed with my dog Luna at my apartment for 9 days while I was travelling. She established clear communication before I left and continued throughout my trip, sending daily updates and videos that put my mind at ease. She quickly learned Luna’s reactivity triggers and built their activities around keeping her calm and happy. I came back to a clean home, a regulated dog (who honestly seemed like she barely missed me), and a beautiful little potted orchid on my kitchen counter. If you’re going on a trip and don’t want to worry about your pet while you’re away, contact Julie 🐾”

About: Six years ago, I discovered my passion for caring for dogs. Since then, friends and family have entrusted me with their beloved fur babies, knowing I’ll care for them with the same love and attention as my own. I currently focus mainly on weekend house sitting services. This allows me to provide pets with dedicated attention, companionship, and a consistent routine while their owners are away. I also have a respectful, animal loving 9 year old daughter who will accompany me during visits or house sits. She has grown up around animals, understands how to be gentle and calm with pets, and loves helping give them attention and affection when appropriate. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always prioritize keeping their routine as consistent and stress free as possible. I take the time to learn each pet’s schedule, personality, and specific needs so they feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away. I’m attentive to feeding routines, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and making sure pets receive plenty of affection and companionship. I also respect and care for clients’ homes as if they were my own, and I provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for.
About: I just love animals. I treat them as my own and will spoil them rotten within reason of course, and love them so much while you're away. Fully fits into my routines. I am available due to my situation at the moment and it gives me a purpose and something to do. I come to your house where your pet will be safe in their own environment. I feel that's best for your pets. It's less stress for them and you knowing your pet is in good hands.
“Rachelle was very communicative and treated our dogs and home with care and respect. This was our first time having her dog/housesit but she has come by for doggy visits previously. Our two big dogs can be a bit rambunctious on walks but she managed without any issue. We have no hesitation recommending Rachelle to anyone looking for dependable care for their pups.”

“We highly recommend Amber and look forward to having her sit for us again. She took great care of our two Bengals and was so respectful of our home, you'd never even know she was there. Sincere appreciation to a great cat/house sitter.”

About: Animals mean the world to me. I grew up with Pure Breed Bouvier dogs, Persian and Himalayan cats. I was no "stranger" to cleaning dog runs, bathing, brushing and combing their fur. As well as, assisting with their oral hygiene. I truly feel in my heart that all animals need love, compassion, companionship, guidance, comfort, and assistance. They are our family!! Whenever you look into an animal's eyes you can see deep within their soul and spirit. It's an incredible and amazing feeling. Animals, give us their complete vulnerability and as pet owners/family, we are supposed to: * Protect, nourish, and love them*. I am here to: "take away" your worries, your stress, and your anxiety! I am professional and compassionate. I am here for you and your "Furbabes". Thank You Natalie

About: I have had dogs on and off my entire life. I adopted an older dog in my twenties who had severe arthritis and cared for him until his final days. This gave me hands-on experience with senior care and medication administration. I have house sat for my family and friend’s dogs throughout the years and given the dogs medication whenever it was needed. I have also been on many walks, runs and hikes with dogs and am able to handle high-energy dogs. My partner and I currently own a dog who is anxious and has some separation anxiety, and so I have a lot of patience and can handle more nervous/anxious dogs. Because of his anxiousness we are almost always with him and have a very homebody lifestyles with tons of positive reinforcement and desensitization techniques. I work as a flight attendant Monday to Wednesday's, and the rest of the time I am home. Whenever I am home I am fully available for pet sitting, dog walking and house drop ins. I mostly spend my days off going for long walks along the seawall, running, camping and enjoying time at home with my dog. I have a very flexible schedule with a lot of time off so it allows me to be fully present for any dog care. I currently live in an apartment in Fairview with easy access to the outdoors. There is a dog park about 10 minutes away from my place along with the seawall for walks. I live in a quiet neighbourhood that is very dog friendly. There is a vet at a 10 minute walk if ever it was needed.
