About: My first job was walking dogs in my neighborhood when I was 12 years old! I grew up riding horses competitively and cared for them with love and passion! I had family dogs always so know how to care for your furry best friend. I work fully remote so would be able to give your pet the love and attention they deserve while you take some time to yourself. I work from home so would be available for daily walks as often as needed and constant monitoring! I often go for many walks a day on my own so would love to hang with a furry companion I don’t have any pets myself so no need to worry about other animals or behaviour issues! I live in a quiet neighborhood in Squamish with close access to trails, parks and forests/rivers. I have a basement suite apartment

About: I am 30 years old and live in Squamish full time. With 6 years of experience pet/house sitting in the Sea to Sky, I have developed strong relationships with many dog & cat parents. I miss having a dog of my own, so caring for local pets brings me so much joy. I grew up caring for neighbourhood dogs, volunteering at the SPCA and assisting at vet clinics. This experience in animal care exposed me to dogs with challenging behaviours and taught me what’s needed to keep your dog happy and healthy. I am also very active, and would love to take your dog on runs and trail walks. I am willing to adapt to different pet routines and keep your animal company with house sitting services. I love incorporating training techniques and mental stimulation into your dogs care. I am open to caring for all breeds and sizes as well. I am very organized and responsible as a service provider. Walking, playing with and spending time with your dog are my top priorities! I work from home which allows for flexible time to care for your pet(s) and go for mid-day walks. I am happy to provide 2+ walks a day for active dogs. I will not be able to provide care in my own home, but would be happy to do home visits or housesit while you are away, in addition to daily walks.

About: I have taken care of Dogs and Cats over the years in various homes. I have fed, walked and spent time with them whilst their families are away. I'm currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I have a lot of time put aside for exploring the Squamish trails on walks and would love to have some furry companions. I have a large apartment with plenty of space. We have no animal friends living with us, so your pet will be nice and comfortable. They are also able to sit and chill out on the sofas.

About: I have grown up surrounded by furry companions (dogs,cats,farm animals) and love every minute of it. Life without a dog or animal for me is an unknown. I’ve taken care of puppies, senior dogs, active dogs and all kinds of dog breeds from small to large and find the joy in each of them. Whether your dog has a quirk or a perk, it’s not too much for me. I will love and care for them as my own and my home has no boundaries for them because I want them to feel as comfortable as they would at their own home. Whether they need training reinforced, walks, runs, forest immersions, swims or just downtime, we’ll take good care of them. My miniature longhaired daschund is my home companion. He is gentle, playful and sweet with any and all other dogs. He knows when to avoid senior dogs and to engage with puppies. I appreciate and love this intuitive nature most about him. With us your dog will be in loving hands. I work from home and have a flexible work schedule which makes play time, company and walks easy. I also have a little fenced yard that is accessible to them during the day for some needed supervised outdoor play time. A nature trail is right in front of my home and forest walks are an easy 5min drive to access. I am available and hands on during the day. Your pup will be in good care and company daily. I have a ground level home with fenced yard to play in and one miniature longhaired daschund to keep your baby company whether to play or just to relax with. My home will be home to your pet and I will treat them as my own. For house sittings, Fynn (my dog) and I will be respectful and take utmost care to look after your belongings and pup. You can relax and rest assured that your home and pup are in capable, loving and caring hands.

About: I am a very compassionate person that is a huge animal lover. I had a golden retriever for thirteen years but then I lost her because she battled cancer. Dogs are like people and they deserve to be treated with as much respect as we do. Therefore I love every breed and would love to spend time getting to know your dogs and I will walk and care for them as much as they need. I have a fenced in yard and make sure to check gates to the pets are safe outside. I would make sure pets are in appropriate places to be safe.

About: I’ve always grown up around dogs and cats. Here to help with their needs and give some love while you’re away. Currently no pets of my own so happy to help with yours! I work 8 to 4 on weekdays and have a lot of weekend availability! I have frequently cared for other people’s dogs as well, ranging from very large breeds to small ones. For example, to keep the leash on, follow their potty schedule, play with them in the backyard, or take them for walks by the river or lake. About: While cats are my specialty, I love all animals and am comfortable caring for small to medium friendly dogs! I’m happy to do drop in visits, walks, feeding, and companionship throughout the day as needed, however overnights are preferred (for both cats and dogs) because I don’t drive, but also because I know most pets are more comfortable in their own environment. My availability changes weekly due to my job (server at a busy restaurant in DT Squamish), but this also allows for lots of flexibility and extra time to spend with your fur baby! I like to make sure to follow your pets routine and schedule as best as possible! About: Avid lover of animals, I have spent summers with horses, been owner of a dog and 2 cats. I have experience with rescue dogs, as I was walking them for a rescue center, back home in Montreal, Quebec. Lately, I also took care of my friend’s dog for 7 months (24hrs/24) while she was out of the country. Im happy to call Squamish my new home and I would love to contribute to the community. I recently lost my 5 y/o rescue dog named Neve (pictured) to a sudden unexpected illness, so I am looking to continue to have canine companions in my life and look forward to treating your dog like they were my own. I have a wide range of experiences with dogs, ranging from growing up and training working dogs (German Shepherds) to working as a dogsled guide. I am skilled in dog training (both balanced and positive training), as well as mental stimulation. I understand each dog's unique needs and quirks, including their routines, medications, and favorite activities. I love to go on dog walks, runs, and play a mean game of fetch – and look forward to building a relationship with your canine companion. I am available for dogwalks / runs and pet-sitting. I currently work remotely and have quite a lot of flexibility to conduct dog-walks and dog-sitting. If time and interest allows, I can bring a dog with me to a pet-friendly office (guaranteed they will get a ton of pets and treats), or take them 30-90 minute walks during the day, or longer after work hours in the late afternoon or evening.
