About: I have been a dog lover since I can remember when we got our first family dog when I was 1 years old. His name was Sockeye, and we were inseparable. Our family has always had dogs to love and care for. I have experience with different breeds especially lab/collie/bluehealer mutts, staffordshire terriers, Yorkie terriors and German shepherds. Currently I do not have any pets of my own which allows me freedom to help others with theirs. My last dogs passed away 6 years ago. I had 2 Yorkie Terriers and a German Shepherd which I inherited from a death in the family. Our German was a guard dog and I spent many months working with him to socialize and train him to be a family friendly dog with much success. He became my sweet baby. Ive cared extensively for my brothers two staffordshire terriers, Tino & Gambler, since they were puppies. Both have since recently passed from cancer after having long fulfilling lives, and they were loved and cared for til the very end. A little about me: I am from Vancouver Island. I am a dental hygienist working here in Squamish. I am active and love the outdoors with mostly hiking & biking (mountain and dirtbiking). ALLERGIES: I do have a cat allergy which can limit me from overnight stays IF your cat is allowed in the bedroom. However this is not a complete limit to cat care. I work in a dental office during the day but have evenings, weekends and Tuesdays generally free to help with dog care. I can spend the night any day of the week, and depending on your location, I may be able to swing in on my lunch break to check on animals and let out for a pee break. Whatever the client requires is what I will follow. I have good leash training experience & can crate your dog if required. Please go over any specifics your pet requires to ensure safety to both your pet and myself.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and pets of all kinds my whole life, and more recently gained hands-on experience navigating senior care for my own dog, which required extra patience and regular medication. Since then, I’ve cared for a variety of dogs—from very small to very large, with all kinds of energy levels—and have come to love each one along the way. About: My first job was walking dogs in my neighborhood when I was 12 years old! I grew up riding horses competitively and cared for them with love and passion! I had family dogs always so know how to care for your furry best friend. I work fully remote so would be able to give your pet the love and attention they deserve while you take some time to yourself. About: Hi! I’m a teacher with the summer off and I’m hoping to spend some of that time with dogs. I love being outside, going for walks, exploring trails, and spending time with animals. I grew up with a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, so I understand that dogs need lots of care, attention, and exercise. I’ll likely get a dog of my own in the future, but for now I’d love to help care for yours. Animals bring me a lot of joy, and I’m excited to meet some new dogs this summer. I look forward to working with you and your pet! Since I’m a teacher and have the summer off, pet care fits really well into my routine right now. I have plenty of time during the day to check in on your dogs, take them for walks, and give them the care and attention they need. About: I am kind and gentle to animals and love to be with them. I have many years of animal care experience and I look forward to playing with your pet. I currently work in the squamish school district mon-fri. I'm looking for extra hours after school and on weekends to help support me and my 2 boys. About: I am a very compassionate person that is a huge animal lover. I had a golden retriever for thirteen years but then I lost her because she battled cancer. Dogs are like people and they deserve to be treated with as much respect as we do. Therefore I love every breed and would love to spend time getting to know your dogs and I will walk and care for them as much as they need. Growing up with cats, I’ve always had a natural love for animals, but my journey with my dog taught me so much more. About: I’ve always had dogs in my life—either my own or those very close to me. For 13 years I had a lovely Toy Poodle and I miss her deeply. I’ve also cared for dogs belonging to cousins and friends, and at my parents-in-law’s home I often looked after five dogs at once, including a Dachshund, Basset Hound, Boxer, and a Boston Terrier. Since moving to Squamish three years ago, I haven’t had a dog of my own and I really miss them so I am here to give all the love and care that your dog needs—whether that’s keeping to walk schedules, playtime, training reinforcement, or simply providing comfort and companionship. About: I have taken care of Dogs and Cats over the years in various homes. I have fed, walked and spent time with them whilst their families are away. I'm currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I have a lot of time put aside for exploring the Squamish trails on walks and would love to have some furry companions. I have a large apartment with plenty of space. We have no animal friends living with us, so your pet will be nice and comfortable. They are also able to sit and chill out on the sofas.

About: I am a big time animal lover and grew up with many pets. I currently have none of my own but am the dedicated dog and cat sitter amongst my friends and family. I will run or walk with your dog depending on their ability, I usually take them on fun forest adventure but am happy to do neighborhood walks on pavement if necessary. I have experience with reactive dogs as well. I am happy to take care of any other animals (including reptiles) and will give them all the love and pets they need. My schedules varies from 9-3 to shift work (two weeks on, two off) but I certainly can do 2 walks a day. I love last minute plans so i am a great last minute candidate and I am ok with lastminute cancelations too :) I can host trained dogs (no hewing of furniture/shoes or accidents). I have a small apartment but have hosted medium to big dogs from energetic husky to senior dogs. They love our carpet! (carpet zoomies) and we love having them here. About: I have grown up surrounded by furry companions (dogs,cats,farm animals) and love every minute of it. Life without a dog or animal for me is an unknown. I’ve taken care of puppies, senior dogs, active dogs and all kinds of dog breeds from small to large and find the joy in each of them. I will love and care for them as my own and my home has no boundaries for them because I want them to feel as comfortable as they would at their own home. With us your dog will be in loving hands. I work from home and have a flexible work schedule which makes play time, company and walks easy. I also have a little fenced yard that is accessible to them during the day for some needed supervised outdoor play time. A nature trail is right in front of my home and forest walks are an easy 5min drive to access. I am available and hands on during the day. Your pup will be in good care and company daily. I have a ground level home with fenced yard to play in and one miniature longhaired daschund to keep your baby company whether to play or just to relax with. My home will be home to your pet and I will treat them as my own. For house sittings, Fynn (my dog) and I will be respectful and take utmost care to look after your belongings and pup. You can relax and rest assured that your home and pup are in capable, loving and caring hands.

About: Hi! I’m Nadia, a South African in my 30’s, now happily settled in beautiful Squamish. I work remotely in tech and do Rover on the side. I love the outdoors so taking the doggos out is a great pleasure for me. I have a very calm, 2 year old Cavalier who is my baby. So I totally understand the stress of leaving your baby with a stranger. I always send lots of reassurance with pics, updates and tracked walks. Since I am home all day I can adapt my schedule to suit your pets. I can take them out as many times as they need. I usually walk them in the morning, lunchtime and then evening. I also have no restrictions with dogs going on furniture etc (unless you have specific rules to follow). They usually just chill with me while I work or chew a toy or play together. I live in a townhouse by the river. We have a ton of walks nearby. We have a dog friendly home so they can come on beds, couches ( unless you have particular rules you want me to enforce )

About: Hi! I’m Jenny! 🌻 I’ve been professionally dog sitting and walking for 9 years now. I have 20 years experience taking care of dogs and cats. I love the playful energy that they bring into people’s lives. While living in Nelson, I dog/house sat for over a 60 different families and had amazing experiences. About: Avid lover of animals, I have spent summers with horses, been owner of a dog and 2 cats. I have experience with rescue dogs, as I was walking them for a rescue center, back home in Montreal, Quebec. Lately, I also took care of my friend’s dog for 7 months (24hrs/24) while she was out of the country. Im happy to call Squamish my new home and I would love to contribute to the community.
