Let me pamper your pet
I’m a retired active reliable woman who LOVES animals. Since I lost my beloved beautiful Siamese cat I’m so ready to put all my energy into your adorable pet! I prefer to make visits in North and West Vancouver but East Vancouver’s PNE area also works. Ideally I like to walk small to medium sized dogs. Most of the time I provide cat care. I love cats as much as I love dogs! The more the merrier! When I lived in East Vancouver we owned a Newfoundlander, a Border Collie and 4 cats. Over the years I’ve dog sat for friends on vacation and walked dogs in North and East Vancouver. I am a certified Small Animal Massage Practitioner (S.A.M.P. ) My training took me to Agility Dog Trials where massage has become very popular. I have volunteered at the West Vancouver SPCA walking dogs, visiting the cats and supporting the SPCA walkathon for many years.

For cat care I provide changing food/water plus litter cleanup. Much of the time is spent playing with a variety toys or brushing which most cats love!

Helen did a great job taking care of our 2 cats! She sent tons of photos along with a daily update. She was able to manage the cats temperaments with ease (one of them isn’t the friendliest). You can feel comfortable leaving your pets in her care.
Helen recently cared for my cat, Willow, while I was away for 12 days. Helen came each afternoon for 1 hour. She fed Willow and played with her, and she also cleaned up Willow's litter box. Each day I received lots of photos of Willow and a short report on how she was doing. When I returned, Willow was happy to see me and seems to have benefited from the care provided. I'm very happy with the care Helen provided and will definitely be asking her to care for Willow in the future.
Always great to have Helen look after our cats! We trust her completely.

Helen was wonderful with our cats. She took excellent care of them and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Communication was clear and consistent, and her regular updates and photos were very reassuring while we were away. It was obvious our cats were relaxed, happy, and well looked after.

Schedule
I prefer daytime visits but some evenings work as well.I really appreciate to be contacted between 9am -9pm. Ok with short notice for all cancellations.
- CatsHelen can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- Let me know if your pet has any health issues. I’m familiar with oral medications for cats and dogs. I hope to get my pet first aid soon
