We’re a reliable North Vancouver pet-care team, with myself, Ivan, as the primary sitter and main point of contact. I currently have full weekday availability for pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits, making us a great option for busy owners who need dependable daytime help. Niamh, my wife, supports early mornings, evenings, and weekends, so your pet benefits from extra flexibility and care. We both grew up with cats and dogs and are comfortable with a wide range of personalities and energy levels. We have owned several cats, and we also have experience with larger active dogs, including a German Shepherd Collie mix. Our focus is keeping your pet comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. That means feeding schedules, walks, playtime, exercise, litter or bathroom breaks, and calm companionship while you’re away. We’re especially good with pets who need patience, consistency, or a gentle approach. You can expect reliable communication, photo updates, and attentive care. Whether you need weekday walks, vacation pet sitting, or drop-in visits, we aim to make things easy for you and stress-free for your pet.

Absolutely wonderful! Our dog Mishka stayed here for a daycare day and then 4 nights while we were away. She was so excited to see them (which is always a great sign!) and had a great time. We got lots of pictures and updates on how she was doing and we knew she was being treated super well. Can’t wait to send Mishka over again :) thank you!

Highly recommend booking with Ivan and Niamh! ⭐️ They cared for our higher maintenance 13 year old dog for two weeks in their home and provided constant potty breaks, fun walks, and gave him his daily meds. Communication was excellent - quick responses, regular updates, and many photos were shared throughout the stay. They paid great attention to detail to our care instructions, and our dog was very happy with them. They are first class sitters whom you can certainly trust with your fur babies. Ivan was very communicative, sent lots of photos and was very attentive to keeping my dog safe on a very hot day. My dog had a very relaxing time at Ivan's place.
Loki had a fantastic time with Ivan & Niamh - his favorite thing is going on walks and they took him on really big walks everyday! He came home tired and happy! They were also able to accommodate last minute changes - really appreciate them and won’t hesitate to recommend!

Schedule
Ivan is the primary sitter and has flexible weekday availability. Niamh is available early mornings, evenings, and weekends, giving us extra flexibility for before-work, after-work, and weekend care. We plan around each pet’s routine to provide dependable, consistent care and timely visits.

A typical day
Every day is tailored to your pet’s routine, personality, and energy level so they feel comfortable while you’re away. Dogs can enjoy walks, playtime, outdoor breaks, feeding, and lots of attention, whether they prefer active fun or a calmer pace. Cats receive feeding, litter care, interactive play, enrichment, and companionship based on their comfort level. We focus on keeping pets happy, engaged, and relaxed, with regular photo updates so you know they’re doing well.
