Cats - I’ve owned and cared for cats for the past 15 years, including administering medication orally and through injection and walking (yes walking!) them. Dogs-I’ve cared for dogs for the past 8 years including fostering and raising rescues. Familiar with training techniques. I am currently working from home full time, so have lots of time for in home care any day of the week. For boarding and visits to yours, that can be easily arranged as I’m set up to work from anywhere. Drop-in visits can happen in the morning, over the lunch hour, and lengthier visits (especially trips to the dog park!) during the evenings and weekend. I have two cats which get along with all types of animals. They do have a separate area of the home, should that be required. Living in the heart of downtown, I have a short three minute walk to river valley trails and several off-leash areas.

Lyndsey looked after Bradley over the weekend for the first time. We felt in very safe hands, Lyndsey asked lots of questions and clearly loves cats! Would definitely recommend.

A typical day
I start my day off with a walk regardless of whether I’m pet sitting. After this it’s breakfast time! Then as I start to plan out my work day, it’s time for toy time for cats or dogs. Coffee breaks and lunch break allow more time for play outside! Then it’s time for a long walk or run to tire us out for the evening. If it’s the weekend, we spend the day exploring the nearby river valley trails or one of us will our favourite dog parks.
