“Jack had a great time staying with Chelsea and her dogs and other boarders. I appreciated Chelsea’s willingness to accept a lengthy last minute request when my usual sitter canceled. Her communication was great, she clearly cares for dogs, and her facilities are excellent. I would highly recommend her services to any of my family and friends.”

“Randona was amazing with our dog. He had the best time with her and came back happy and satisfied. Lots of great updates and pics were supplied during our dog’s stay and you can tell that Randona really cares about the dogs she watches. 10/10 would rebook.”

“If I could give a million stars I would! Priya and Josh are absolutely amazing! I don’t even know where to start! It was my first time having henny watched by someone who wasn’t a family or friend so I was very nervous and anxious to have her babysat from someone I didn’t know. Especially since henny is a Frenchie and sometimes they need different care then other dogs. Priya met up with me and Hennessy before hand for a meet and greet. Henny instantly loved Priya and I knew right then after meeting her that henny would be in great care. Priya took the time to answer every single question I had and get to know me and henny. When dropping henny off Josh and Priya welcomed me inside there apartment to see where henny would be staying. I got to meet Josh then aswell they are both such kind hearted, friendly, loving people! Even when saying goodbye to henny before leaving she was more interested in them then saying by to me haha, so right then it just confirmed that Priya and Josh were the perfect pair to watch henny! Even after 5 mins of leaving they sent me so many updates with pictures and videos and letting me know how henny was doing and showing me what they got up to every day. I was away for 12 days (the longest time I’ve been away from henny) and I never once second guessed having henny stay with them. I instantly felt relieved when dropping henny off that I didn’t have to be nervous or anxious about if she was going to be okay. Josh and Priya really loved henny like she was there own. They took her on so many walks, gave her so much love and henny met so many new friends! Josh and Priya are great with communicating throughout the booking, they make sure to ask if things are okay before hand which is awesome and made me feel confidant in them! When I picked henny up it was as if she wanted to stay! Henny looked so happy and healthy looks like henny and I both got a vacation! I 1000% will always come back to book with them, and will recommend them to any family or friend that needs a dog sitter. Nothing but amazing things to say about them. This experience was perfect and I’m so grateful for Priya and Josh taking such great care of my baby girl! ❤️”

“This is my second time leaving Eggie to Liz. I would like to express my deepest thanks for Liz for taking such wonderful care of Eggie while I was way. During my vacation, Liz treated Eggie not just as a pet, but as a true member or her family. She took him on daily walks and playtimes, sent me so many lovely photos, brushed his teeth, trimmed his fur, and even included him in her family gatherings. Knowing that Eggie was so loved and cared for gave me complete peace of mind throughout my trip. When I came to pick him up and saw her in tears, I was truly touched-it shows just how much heart she put into caring for him. Liz is such a wonderful sitter! Thanks again!”

“Zohreh was fantastic, she sent lots of pictures and updates, took him on lots of walks and he quite enjoyed sun tanning in her backyard. I also love that she’s a vet tech, should anything go sideways while he’s with her. I would absolutely recommend Zohreh!”

“This was our first time using Rover. I was pretty nervous but Kris offered to do a meet and greet prior to committing which I really appreciated. She provides regular updates and photos and I felt our dog was well taken care of.”

“We were very impressed with Leslie. She is wonderful with animals of all kinds. My dogs came home healthy and happy. We will ask Leslie to care for our boys in the spring when we take our next trip.”

“We had great experience booking with Allison, she was very responsive, kept us updated throughout the stay, and sent lots of pictures, which we really appreciated. Communication was excellent and gave us peace of mind the entire time. We highly recommend her to anyone!”

“I can’t recommend Angela enough! She took such amazing care of my dog and made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. It was clear right away how kind, attentive, and experienced her and her family are, and I really appreciated the communication, updates, and photos while I was away. My dog seemed so happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. It was really lovely knowing my dog was around Angela and her family — you can tell there’s a lot of care and positive energy in that environment. I would absolutely book with Angela again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and genuinely caring.”

“Exceptional care for our fur baby! We left our dog, Charlie, with Oriana and her husban Jean for 10 days, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Leaving a pet for the first time and for that long can be stressful, but we were completely at ease thanks to the frequent updates and obvious love Charlie received. He had an absolute blast and was treated like family. It was so comforting to see and gave us peace of mind that our Charlie looking so happy and relaxed while we were away. We will definitely be booking again—Charlie already misses his home away from home! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our boy!”

“So, so happy I sent my dog for care with Tamara. She took such loving care of my dog and she sent photos and updates to keep me in the loop on how he was doing. Recommend for sure!”

About: I’ve been providing day care, boarding, walks, bathroom and water breaks for dogs of all dispositions and needs for over 8 years now. I have experience with dogs who are reactive, disabled, elderly, grumpy, easy going, good on leash, terrible on leash, love other dogs, hate other dogs and everything in between! I am skilled at reading dog behaviour and energy shifts, and anticipating and diffusing undesirable interactions between dogs. I will provide continuity with training goals and language if that’s where you’re at, and I have experience with dogs with medical conditions who need some extra help and lots of patience. I have several long term clients and can happily provide references. Canine care is my full time job, and I take it very seriously. I am accommodating, flexible and responsive, and can work with you to come up with a schedule that works for you and your pup. From one offs and last minute requests, to long term, predictable scheduling, I’m just happy to get to spend time with your pup! I am canine first aid certified, and I’m cautious and caring. I’m attentive on walks (I’m familiar with the tries-to-eat-everything and the makes-it-weird-on-leash variety of dog), and I’m tuned in and present when dogs are in my home (I’m also familiar with the counter-surfing, toy shredding, sock eating variety of dog). I have a dedicated basement suite that is set up to be a safe and comfortable pup haven, with easy access to a large, securely fenced backyard. Whether your pup is a couch dog, floor dog, crate dog or bed dog, I have all the surfaces. I’m present with the dogs when they’re in my home, and provide a loving space and as many ear/chin/head/belly/butt scratches as your dog could possibly want!
“They were great and gave us amazing updates on Pablo frequently. He looked very happy and comfortable being part of their pack. We would definitely love to have Andrea and Sergio take care of Pablo again!”

“Kim was a delight! She made sure Tucker had everything he needed before we left for our trip. I had to go back because I forgot his kibbles. 😬 so glad Kim double checked! She provided frequent update on how Tucker was settling in. Upon picking up Tucker, he was a happy dog. He seemed like he had a great time. Also, we received a custom made gift. It was such a nice surprise. Would definitely book again and recommend to friends. Thx Kim.”

About: Loving pet carer with over 20 years experience with dogs and cats. I offer daytime walks, daycare at my home, drop ins, and overnight care. Being an at-home parent my hours are fairly flexible on weekdays, and on weekends by request. We currently have one kitten of our own living at home, your pet would have to be comfortable with that. IMPORTANT For stays in my home: I do have two children at home (a 6yr old and a 10yr old) so for any bookings at my home I can only take in pets who are comfortable being around children. They have grown up around dogs, cats, and farm animals. I always take care to ensure that pets have space for themselves and that the children treat them respectfully, but I am unable to take in pets that may be extremely timid or aggressive with children. I am a stay at home Mum, and work part-time at home. So my schedule is fairly flexible, pets are not left on their own unless it’s for short periods. I’m happy to work with clients to accommodate their drop off and pick up times. Dogs have access to our fully fenced yard and a park just down the block. I never let a dog outside in our yard without me being present. I work from home allowing my schedule to be flexible to help accommodate your needs. Available weekdays and weekends, can be available on short notice. have a fenced in yard, where dogs can enjoy supervised play and potty breaks. I am able to contain dogs or cats to my family room/kitchen or living room if needed and happy to accept crates if needed.
“This was our first time booking over Rover so we were pretty apprehensive. Sara immediately made me feel better once I met her - her calm presence and her clear love for dogs. Allie had a great time with Sara playing with a couple of other dogs in the yard and with her sons. Sara kept in touch the entire time, sending pictures and videos and text messages letting us know how it was going. Great experience and would definitely book Sara again! Thanks Sara!!”

“I had to extend our puppy Misa’s stay with Ran for an extra day and she was very understanding and accommodating and continued to send regular updates and pictures of Misa. It’s very comforting to know that your fur baby is being well taken care of in your absence. I know who I’ll be contacting the next time we go on another trip! 😊”

Maxine was incredible to us and our Goldendoodle, Oakley. Maxine made us feel comfortable by updating us with pictures. Maxine had excellent communication throughout the entire process. She was very knowledgeable, kind, welcoming and caring of our dog. We know our Oakley was in such great hands and had such an amazing time!! We will definitely be asking Maxine again for her incredible services in watching our pup. We would highly recommend Maxine. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
