Your dog deserves a vacation, too! We both work from home, so dogs staying with us get lots of attention throughout the day, with plenty of belly rubs, playtime, and walks. Our goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, relaxed, and part of our home while they’re here. 🐾 Daily photos and updates through the Rover app 📸 2–3 free professional dog portraits for first-time stays of 2 nights or more 🏡 Kennel-free boarding in our home 🐶 Toys, playtime, walks, treats, and lots of cuddles We’ve been dog-sitting for friends and family for years, and I (Mackenzie) grew up with a dog who lived to be 18 years old. We’re both huge animal lovers and have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Dogs staying with us get lots of attention, exercise, and a calm, comfortable home environment. As a professional photographer, I love capturing the personalities of every pup. As a small thank-you, each new dog who stays with us for two nights or longer receives 2–3 professionally edited portraits - a fun keepsake you’ll have forever!

Sparky had a day date with McKenzie and Turner - he started getting excited just as the car turned onto the street and could hardly wait to get out and up their stairs. As always - great care - he came home tired and happy.

Mackenzie and Turner were incredible with our sensitive m dog Shrimp. He absolutely fell in love with them immediately which is very unusual for him and it was clear he was really at home. Would absolutely recommend them, especially for anyone who has a dog who needs a bit of extra patience and love and care.

Mackenzie and Turner are amazing. Mochi is reactive to dogs and people. We had a meet and greet, they recommended to have an overnight stay to see how Mochi is. They were able to accommodate on very short notice and kept me inform on how mochi is doing with them. Mochi seems very happy and calm during his stay from the pictures they sent me. It was my first Rover experience and I would definitely recommend them 5/5!
Can’t thank Mackenzie and Turner enough for their time and patience with our pup, Odie! I really appreciated how many updates and photos I got through the day and would absolutely recommend them for anyone who is looking to board their dog away from home. Thank you guys again! Schedule
I (Mackenzie) am self-employed and work from home full-time, while Turner works remotely in cybersecurity, with only occasional travel. This means your pup will enjoy plenty of companionship, care, and attention throughout the day. When we're not working, we love getting outside and bringing a friend along for the adventure. Whether that's walks around the neighbourhood, trips to the park, hiking, or time at the beach. We also play beach volleyball once a week, so if your pup enjoys fresh air and being around people, they may even get to tag along for some fun!

Safety, trust & environment
We provide a safe, calm, and comfortable environment where dogs can truly feel at home. Our spacious two-bedroom apartment is just a few minutes from a dog-friendly park, which makes daily walks and playtime easy. We don’t have any pets of our own, so visiting dogs get our full attention. Dogs are welcome to relax on the furniture, explore the space, and settle in like they would at home. To keep things calm and personalized, we typically host one dog at a time. We’re happy to host two dogs from the same household or dogs that already know each other well. If you have any special requests, feel free to reach out; we’re always happy to chat!
A typical day
Most mornings start with a walk around the neighbourhood and some playtime at the nearby dog-friendly park. During the day, I (Mackenzie) work from home as a wedding photographer, editing photos and managing projects, so your pup can relax, nap, or hang out nearby for company. Turner works remotely in cybersecurity and is home throughout the week, providing a great balance of activity, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. In the evenings, we usually go for another walk, then wind down with cuddles, treats, and a relaxed night at home, often listening to music on our record player. If your pup enjoys adventure, they may also join us for beach walks, hikes, or other outdoor outings!
