I have 20+ years of pet care experience, and grew up with many family pets including cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, love birds, turtles, snakes and lizards. I also had a cat of my own until a few years ago. I was originally planning to foster, so finding out about Rover has really helped me fill that cat shaped hole in my heart, and helped me heal from losing my last soul cat. Being the fun auntie has been very fulfilling! ❤️🩹 I have tons of experience with all kinds of cats after being on Rover for almost 4 years now - kittens, seniors, disabled and those on various medications, I have seen it all! Regarding my sudden increase in rates - I deeply apologize, but Rover recently changed their fee system, and unfortunately they take about half of the total cost. However - I’m ALWAYS happy to negotiate something that is a better fit for your budget before you book with another sitter. ❤️ Please don’t hesitate to ask, no judgement here! Thank you kindly 😸

Kayla is a caring, very trustworthy cat sitter who has excellent communication skills. We were thrilled to have had her as our first sitter from Rover, and will definitely be re-hiring her for all of our future cat and dog sitting needs. Kayla built such a strong relationship with our two cats, and they were extremely well taken care of. She ensured that they were brushed everyday, that our house was tidy and that they got supervised outdoor catio time and dedicated play time everyday. She definitely loves this job, and puts her heart into it. We strongly recommend Kayla and thank her for going above and beyond while we were travelling for three weeks.
Kayla is a sweetheart and I felt very secure leaving Louis in her care.
Kayla was fabulous with our cats and rabbit! She took the time to understand the unique needs of each pet and kept us thoroughly updated on their care. She went above and beyond when the rabbit wasn’t her usual self, sending videos, chatting with us by phone, and staying an extra hour to ensure the rabbit ate. We would love to have Kayla pet-sit for us again in the future!

Kayla is fantastic! My cat can be shy and nervous around other people, but Kayla takes amazing care of her. I feel so at ease knowing my cat is happy and well in Kayla's care while I'm away, plus she sends the best updates and pictures.
Kayla was excellent. She took great care of Peter while we away and gave daily updates. As well as cute pics . We had issue with the automatic feeder and Kayla notified us right away. She was very thorough

***A sad update for my regular boarding clients - thank you so much for everything over the last 4 years, but as of September 15 I will be temporarily moving into a place that is unfortunately not suitable for boarding 💔 I will always be available for drop ins, and I will be offering house sitting instead, but I know that’s not ideal for most people. I will be moving again sometime in 2027 and finding a pet friendly place will be top priority. My heart breaks having to do this, but hopefully we will be able to reconnect again next year! ❤️*** I have a very flexible schedule for meet & greets and drop ins. I am here to make you and your cat’s experience as stress free as possible!
- CatsKayla can host up to 15 drop-ins per day
- I have tons of experience administering topical and oral medications. As long as you leave me instructions, I am confident I can care for whatever your fur baby’s needs are.
