Alice: I am an enthusiastic and patient person, a proponent of lifelong learning, and a lover of animals, especially dogs. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a Master of Engineering degree in biomedical engineering and am currently working as a Clinical Engineer with the Biomedical Engineering Department in the Lower Mainland. During my life, I have had the good fortune of looking after three of my own dogs (an English Cocker Spaniel, a rescue mutt, and a Mini Schnauzer). Moreover, I have done an extensive amount of dog sitting for my friends and family. While caring for these beloved pets, I became proficient at grooming and behavioural training e.g. sitting, shaking, rolling over, coming on command, not barking, knowing their limits, etc. I believe that, like humans, dogs should be taught and interacted in a manner that suits their personalities.
