I'll exercise & train your dog!
Alice: I am an enthusiastic and patient person, a proponent of lifelong learning, and a lover of animals, especially dogs. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a Master of Engineering degree in biomedical engineering and am currently working as a Clinical Engineer with the Biomedical Engineering Department in the Lower Mainland. During my life, I have had the good fortune of looking after three of my own dogs (an English Cocker Spaniel, a rescue mutt, and a Mini Schnauzer). Moreover, I have done an extensive amount of dog sitting for my friends and family. While caring for these beloved pets, I became proficient at grooming and behavioural training e.g. sitting, shaking, rolling over, coming on command, not barking, knowing their limits, etc. I believe that, like humans, dogs should be taught and interacted in a manner that suits their personalities. As such, when meeting a new dog, I create a training and care plan according to their character traits. If you think that I might be a good fit, please get in touch. Unfortunately, I live in the garden suite of a house that is not pet-friendly, so I can only provide house sitting services at the moment. However, I would be more than happy to take your dog on as many outdoor adventures as they (and you) would like!

Alice & Marita are absolutely incredible! They gave us a great vibe right from the start. Their communication was amazing! They sent lots of updates and pictures which gave us peace of mind while we were away for the weekend. We could tell our dog Willow was immediately very comfortable with them. They left our house immaculate and our fur baby very happy. We would use them again in a heart beat!
I booked Alice & Marita this past weekend and they were fantastic! I’ve never felt so confident in anyone watching my pup. I have a high energy 2 year old golden retriever who requires lots of love and walks. Alice & Marita were so awesome, they kept him busy and having fun the entire weekend and even taught him how to swim! They gave me lots of updates through the weekend to let me know he was doing great, he always had a big smile on. I hope to book them again any time I need a dog sitter in the future ? can’t thank them enough!

Alice has been great, she's taken care of my Maltipoo Maqui a few times and every time she has kept me updated with cute photos and has been incredibly professional. She has been very loving and patient with Maqui who sleeps like a baby after spending the day with Alice because she absolutely loves running in the yard! Would 100% recommend!
I have nothing but great things to say about how Alice walked my dog. She was generous with her time, attentive and made sure he was well exercised. The real bonus is that my dog absolutely adores her and greets her so enthusiastically like no other walker before her. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Schedule
I can work from home when needed. Therefore, caring for pets does not interfere much with my work schedule, which is in general very flexible. If needed, I can move my meetings around to suit your pet's schedule.
