About: Currently volunteering at the BC SPCA I've also owned and taken care of dogs as long as I can remember from puppies to seniors (my oldest dog living to be 15 and all the care that requires) Training my pups up to be respectable companions and making sure they get all the exercise they need. I still frequently sit for friends and families dogs and I decided this could be a good first step to a career with animals. I'm currently volunteering at the SPCA. About: I am a life-long pet owner of both cats and dogs. I have personal and professional experience from kittens/puppies to sweet old guys/gals with medication needs. I am currently fully available 7 days a week. I have one dog of my own, and I am happy to do in-home care at my home after proper introductions, i also have a wide availability for single or multiple daily visits, walks, comfort check-ins, etc. The only thing I do not offer at this time is overnight care in your home, without my dog accompanying me. As I do have a dog of my own, any dog that will be doing care in my home will need to be well socialized with other dogs. I live on a large property in a very spacious home with a fully fenced yard. I have a lovely dog park for off leash play a 2 minute drive away, and many beautiful safe areas near my home for on leash walks/hikes. In my house we love a good couch cuddle or bedtime buddy, but will always respect your wishes if you prefer to keep them off furniture. I am well versed in crate training and am happy to accommodate any age of dog in any stage of crate training, but I am not able to supply a crate. For cats, if preferred, I am able to offer overnight care in a private room in my home, but please keep in mind I do have a dog who loves cats, so her scent and sound will be smelled/heard from outside of that room.

Routine and excersise are important. I have an enclosed covered patio that allows animals to play and get fresh air when they are not in the yard. She even made adjustments to her walks with him to avoid walking him on pavement and instead kept him on grass most of the walk. Roscoe is a big dog and she was able to manage him well. “Taylor was great with Roscoe. She walked him 2x per day for almost 2 weeks. Roscoe is a big 120 lb XL Bully and she handled him fine. The day before Taylor was scheduled to walk Roscoe, I had taken him hiking up to Sasquatch Mountain ski resort. I think the shale rocks caused his nails to bleed. Taylor noticed that the next day when she began walking him. She notified me of the issue and then she applied Styptic Powder to his feet and the bleeding stopped. I'd recommend her to anyone who wants a reliable and qualified dog walker.”

About: I have over 20 years experience with dogs. I am reliable and experienced with most breeds. I walk the dog as the owner requests ie: loose lead, let them smell etc. Or in an off leash area the dog is familiar with, or in a heel position if requested. When I do dog boarding the dogs make themselves at home easily. I have a fenced yard and offer walks throughout the day. The dogs never stay outside alone even though the yard is fenced. I live by some great trails and love taking dogs to explore them and have fun! For drop in visits I am reliable and trustworthy. I can do drop in visit for cats as well. About: For as long as i can remember, I've always loved dogs. Pretty much all of my family members had them when I was growing up. But my mom always said no to me getting one. So everywhere I went, when I saw any dog I would always have to go out of my way to say hi to the puppy (I still do this to this day). As I got older I started to realize that everywhere i went, every dog that I would meet would come right to me for love, even if the dog was usually afraid of people. So I felt like I needed to do something with that. I have always had such a passion working with and being around animals. I have previously worked at a doggy day care for over a year, and I've also previously worked at mr pets in Abbotsford for over 2 years, being the main person taking care of all different types of animals. When your pets are in my care I will always show them nothing but love and compassion. I promise, your babies will be in amazing hands. I will play outside (if you have the space in your yard) with your puppies so they get all their energy out and I will take them on walks around your neighborhood (if leash trained) when house sitting or if asked to go for walks! Whether I am coming to just take your dog out for a walk, to spend some time with them or to watch them while you are away, your babies will be very well taken care of.
