About: I’ve been dog sitting and walking for 7 years I have experience walking my husky Zeus, my sisters Chocolate Lab, and other loved and neighbours pets! About: I am an experienced dog walker and cat/dog sitter from Chicago, IL! I worked with a private dog walking company as well as providing many years of cat and dog sitting to clients in my neighborhood. I am studying animal welfare at UBC and getting my PhD in dairy cattle welfare, so I am very passionate about animal behaviour and wellbeing. I own two wonderful cats and have worked in a cat clinic administering medicine in the past. I have lots of experience reading cat behaviour and providing companionship for them! I additionally volunteered as a dog walker at a shelter in Chicago for years and was trained on how to walk dogs with behavioural issues. I would love the opportunity to be around dogs more, as I can't have one with my two cats, and am away from the dogs I used to sit in Chicago! All day care and boarding bookings include walks, rest assured your pups will come home tired. Indoors I make sure we have a low-tox environment, no fragrances, no candles, no smoking, no chemical cleaners, only baking soda and vinegar are used as cleaning products. All their water is filtered using a Epicnano water filter as well I have a number of Airtok air filters in the home. Dogs are allowed on all furniture and have the option of a group setting or they are each provided with their own private area with water and a bed separated with baby gates so still in view but if they don’t want to be social with the other dogs they can have and enjoy their solitude.
