When more activity is needed, I take dogs on leashed walks in our peaceful neighborhood to give them a change of scenery and a chance to stretch their legs. Inside, there’s plenty of room for zoomies, toys, and relaxed downtime. I keep the home calm, clean, and free of hazards, and I always make sure your pet has a cozy space to feel safe and comfortable. Your dog will be supervised throughout the day and never left alone for long. I also believe that clear communication is key. About: I’ve had a variety of pets since I was little and cared for them well. I am the go to for my friends and family when they are away. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits, birds and fish. I currently work from home so I am flexible with my availability daily and weekly. I also have a separate space for pets who need their own area to feel comfortable if they are staying with me. I have parks and trails for daily dog walking. I am able to be flexible with pets needs in my home or at a client’s home. As a pet parent myself, I also have experience with pet grooming and administering medications if needed.

I started when I was just 12 years old walking my neighbours dogs and pet sitting their cats, soon those neighbours were so happy with my service that they referred me to their friends, and those friends referred me to more friends, and so the story goes. I have experience with all types of dogs, from dachshunds to pit bulls, from puppies to seniors. I am able to modify a service to suit your dogs needs, from small walks around the block to trail runs on Chilliwack Community Forest. I have worked for a high-volume dog daycare in downtown Vancouver where I learnt valuable skills on dog behavioural patterns and training techniques. I am a passionate multi-hyphenate freelancer, and every day looks a bit different! My main gigs are teaching yoga at local rec centres and universities, and pet sitting here on Rover. I'm also getting my MA at a distance program offered by UVic, so I spend most of my days reading and writing. On days I am working, I am usually gone anywhere from 2 to 6 hours. I am available to be a full-time, live-in housesitter while you're away. I am adaptable to your pet's rhythms and routines. I enjoy plenty of walks, snuggles on the couch, and giving out healthy treats (carrots are my dog's favorite). I am not only an experienced pet sitter, but a passionate homemaker.
