About: I’ve spent over a decade caring for small and large breed dogs and have a special place in my heart for big dogs that are full of energy! I’m all about making walks more than just exercise by working on training skills along the way, whether that’s reinforcing basic commands or following your specific training methods. Whether your pup’s up for a long stroll, a jog, or a nearby hike, I’d love to take them out for some fun and fresh air. I have a flexible schedule and am available seven days a week, when needed! Otherwise, I am regularly available on weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. I understand what an honour it is to be entrusted with your fur babies and do not take that responsibility lightly. Your pup is leashed and beside me at all times and is never taken to an unfamiliar location.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since a young age. I’ve had many neighbors, family, and friends trust me to care and love for their dogs I will have lots of time to play with your pups! I’m currently available any day or time of the week and weekends if needed I have a big fenced in yard and one very loving Pomeranian who loves to be friends with anything and everyone. About: I lost my Great Pyrenees 2 years ago. Since then my girlfriend and I fostered 3 dogs for about 9 months in total. It was hard but very rewarding. I miss hanging with dogs but can’t necessarily commit to my own. I work full time but just five minutes away. My 19 year old daughter lives with me. She has a cat but they are in a separate space. I love going to for walks around the neighborhood, along the dyke, Hope Slough, or the Vedder river. I have a fenced backyard but it’s gravel, a large deck and a garden (no grass). There is grass in the front yard but it’s not fenced. Your pup would have full access to the house but there are stairs up to the main level and stairs going outside. I don’t mind having pups on the couch or my bed. I enjoy the company. My house is pretty quiet. Dogs usually like watching the squirrels and neighborhood activities from my large front window. My 19 year old daughter lives in the basement suite with her cat. She loves animals too and can help with walks and potty breaks when I am at work. I find having a dog gives me purpose and joy. I can’t commit to a dog right now so this seems like a great alternative!

About: Cat owner for 4 years, and when I lived with family we have owned multiple dogs throughout my life, so I have experience in taking care of a variety of sizes and breeds of dogs! Currently very free form in terms of work, so I can happily mold my work days around pet sitting / walking for you, in whatever case needed! Very very comfortable around all breeds and sizes of dogs and cats, I’m familiar with putting dogs in crates, putting them inside / outside and general care!

About: We love animals and grew up with them. More recently, we have gained a lot of experience with reactive dogs. We rescued a two-year-old German Shepherd mix who is highly dog and people reactive. We have done a tonne of positive and balanced training. So, if you have an animal who needs a little bit of extra patience, we can definitely do that (adhering to whichever training style you’ve chosen to adopt). We both love being active outdoors and would happily take your dog on runs, walks and hikes!! And, we can’t forget the cats, we are always happy for a cuddle. We have pretty flexible jobs and work from home much of the time, so we can fit it in potty breaks, walks etc whenever is needed :) We don’t care for pets in our home (because of our reactive dog), but would love to care for your animals in your home. We will adjust to whatever routine, training, and rules you have!

I currently share custody of my golden retriever Flynn, having dogs has taught me so much about patience, consistency, and how important it is to give dogs both structure and love. I also had the incredibly meaningful experience of fostering a rescue dog through Barney’s Furry Friends. She was found abandoned and needed patience, structure, and a lot of love to feel safe again. That experience taught me so much about building trust, understanding dog behavior, and supporting dogs with anxiety or past trauma. About: I am an experienced dog walker and cat/dog sitter from Chicago, IL! I worked with a private dog walking company as well as providing many years of cat and dog sitting to clients in my neighborhood. I am studying animal welfare at UBC and getting my PhD in dairy cattle welfare, so I am very passionate about animal behaviour and wellbeing. I own two wonderful cats and have worked in a cat clinic administering medicine in the past. I have lots of experience reading cat behaviour and providing companionship for them! I additionally volunteered as a dog walker at a shelter in Chicago for years and was trained on how to walk dogs with behavioural issues. I would love the opportunity to be around dogs more, as I can't have one with my two cats, and am away from the dogs I used to sit in Chicago! I am a current grad student so I have extreme flexibility! I can make almost every day or time work for checking in on or walking your pet.
