My dogs absolutely loved spending a weekend at Brigitta's home with her children and dogs. I will be bringing my beloved pups back anytime I may need a sitter!”

About: I grew up on a hobby farm so animals have always just been part of my life. I have had dogs my whole life and just recently said goodbye to my beloved 17.5 year old poodle. Previous to that I had a Chihuahua with a spinal injury and said good bye to her at 14.5 years old. I know firsthand what it means to love a dog through every stage of life, including the senior years. I am patient, easy going and genuinely just love dogs. I have a soft spot for senior dogs and know how to care for them with the extra time and gentleness they need. I share my home with fish and caged birds and I am based in Chilliwack. Whether your pup is young or old, shy or social, I will make sure they feel right at home while you are away. 🐾 I work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, so mornings and evenings are dedicated to walks, feeding and any special care your pup needs. Before I head out for the day I make sure every pet is fed, walked and settled, and when I am home in the evenings it is all about them. Weekends are wide open and I love spending that time outdoors so your dog will always have someone to adventure with! Please note that your pup will need to be comfortable spending a few hours alone during the day and be relatively calm in the home. I want to make sure every dog in my care feels relaxed and settled, and that my neighbours are happy too! I live in a secure apartment building so you can rest easy knowing there is no risk of your pup slipping out a door or gate. We have a great walking area right around the building for bathroom breaks and I love getting out for longer walks in the neighbourhood too. Your dog will always be on leash when we are outside, keeping them safe at all times. Inside, I have a kennel available if your pup feels most comfortable and secure in their own space, as well as plenty of cozy dog beds around the apartment so they can settle in wherever they feel happiest. Your dog will always have a warm, comfortable spot to call their own while they are with me!
“Shawn and family took such great care of Pertie. They were so patient and loving with her while she adjusted to a new place. Their dog Hazel and her got along great. We were able to enjoy our time away knowing she was so well looked after. Shawn gave us updates with pictures everyday and was quick to respond. We would absolutely leave her with Shawn again in the future.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. When I was born, my parents already had two Dobermans, and after they passed, we welcomed a Weimaraner into our family — and later, his son. Around the age of 18, I adopted a Dachshund, followed a few years later by a lovable Pitbull. My mom also took in a rescue from the street, so our home was always full of wagging tails and happy paws. In 2021, I moved to Canada and made the hard decision to leave my elderly Dachshund with my mom. He was deeply bonded with her and already in his senior years, and I knew it was the best choice for his comfort and happiness. Now, after a few years of settling in, I’ve decided it’s time to welcome a dog into my home again — and that’s how Akira, my miniature Dachshund, came into my life. I work from home full-time, which means I’m able to give pets in my care plenty of attention, companionship, and consistent routines throughout the day. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments and understand how unique each pup can be. Whether it’s playtime, quiet cuddles, or long walks, I truly love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe and loved. I work from home, so I’m with my dog Akira all day. We take breaks throughout the day for playtime, cuddles, and fresh air. It’s easy for me to fit in extra feedings, or whatever your dog might need. Having dogs around just makes the day better, and I love giving them the attention they deserve. I care for pets the same way I’d want someone to care for my own, with love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. Whether it’s sticking to their usual schedule, giving them space to relax, or making sure they get lots of play and affection, I adjust my care to what works best for them.
“I want to start by saying that I am not a typical review'er but I am completely blown away with the care that was given to Goose. The amount of physical activity that was provided to Goose and the other dogs that were there was completly mind blowing. I have NEVER left my dog with anyone other then Doggie Day care building up for our trip to be away. Goose came back from her time away COMPLETLY stable and not even a single ounce of stress and she was there for 5 days. We have found our care giver for life!”

“This is our first time dropping our dog off to stay somewhere overnight. Dolly put all our nervousness to rest. She is very knowledgeable about dogs. It was evident from the videos and pictures she sent that our dog was having a great time! She got lots of exercise and play time, and we would gladly trust Dolly with her again. Our dog was not sure she wanted to leave when we came to pick her up!”

“We just used Gabriella for the first time and were beyond impressed. Our dog had a amazing time, she sent updates for peace of mind. Very responsive to communication. Would use her again next time we need to go away with peace of mind.”

“Joey was very taken care of, he clearly had a blast! He crashed on the floor once he got home, exhausted from all the play. Thank you for taking such good care of Joey!”

“Connie was amazing this past week. Very attentive and descriptive with how our pets day went. Lots of affection and attention towards our little guy. Lots of updates daily with pictures of his walks and adventures and even provided some new experiences with other dogs! It was a wonderful experience as owners getting that piece of mind. Will definitely do it again. Thank you”

“Heather was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She was very easy to work with and went above and beyond with our doggy. She treated her as her own, and kept us updated with photos and text messages.”

“Nikhil is amazing and very caring person. Took excellent care of Pookie Chavez while we were away and highly recommend his loving services. We will definitely use him again. Thanks again Nikhil 🙏”

“We are so happy that we found Sheena! After always worrying about our dog in kennels, we have zero concerns when she is with Sheena. If you are looking for the best care, we would strongly recommend Sheena’s home!”

“Harshita took wonderful care of my puppy! He can be a lot as hes very playful and jumpy. He was happy and comfortable when we picked him up! Thank you so much for taking such good care of Charlie!”

“Paula has looked after my cats a few times and I have booked her already for my next trip. She is within time frame, cats are well cared for with play & treat time. Also keeps litter clean. My one cat who many times hides with new people always comes out to greet her. That’s a good sign so I highly recommend Paula:)”

About: I’ve had cats most of my life. I am comfortable with those who like to snuggle and play or those that just want to be fed and left alone. My vet tech experience has taught me to manage kittens, seniors and those with medical or nutritional challenges. I am comfortable administering any necessary medications or treatments. I am not above deep cleaning that litter box when necessary :)
“Celena was great with our kitty, and we got some beautiful photos of her thrown into the mix too, as a bonus! Our cat is super friendly if she’s comfortable, but can be nervous with new people, and especially new smells! It means a lot that Celena was able to connect with our kitty so quickly while we were away.”
About: I am an experienced dog walker and cat/dog sitter from Chicago, IL! I worked with a private dog walking company as well as providing many years of cat and dog sitting to clients in my neighborhood. I am studying animal welfare at UBC and getting my PhD in dairy cattle welfare, so I am very passionate about animal behaviour and wellbeing. I own two wonderful cats and have worked in a cat clinic administering medicine in the past. I have lots of experience reading cat behaviour and providing companionship for them! I additionally volunteered as a dog walker at a shelter in Chicago for years and was trained on how to walk dogs with behavioural issues. I would love the opportunity to be around dogs more, as I can't have one with my two cats, and am away from the dogs I used to sit in Chicago! I am a current grad student so I have extreme flexibility! I can make almost every day or time work for checking in on or walking your pet. I am someone who cares about safety and wellbeing over all else (hence the animal welfare PhD!) and will make sure your pet is safe and happy. I have many years of experience and am very cautious when taking care of someone's pet!
“Kerry was incredibly attentive to my pets needs, I felt comfortable and safe leaving them in her care. She was professional, kind and friendly. As someone who is very protective of my pets, I would happily recommend Kerry to anyone looking for someone they can trust, 10/10 from me”

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs, horses, cats, bunnies, and birds. Today, I own two German Shorthaired Pointers, cats, and a house bunny. I have great puppy experience from raising two litters of puppies. All pet care is ran out of my semi private basement suite and can be set up for your pets care and needs. The suite walks out directly into a massive, secure yard for instant, safe playtime. Pet care is seamlessly woven into our family’s daily life. Because I work part-time from home and homeschool my children, I am home with the pets for the vast majority of the day. When the weather is nice, we spend a lot of our time out in our large fenced yard, handling school lessons outside while the dogs and pets enjoy the fresh air and space to run. Any time we do leave the house, it is only for short periods, such as a quick grocery run or dropping off and picking up the kids from their extracurricular activities. Your pets will rarely be left alone and will get plenty of daily attention, companionship, and yard time as part of our regular routine! Secure Outdoor & Indoor Spaces: I have a large, secure fenced yard for playtime and a whole basement dedicated to pet care. Quiet & Safe Retreats: I have a separate room available to provide a quiet space whenever a pet needs some downtime. Secure Departures: If I need to step out briefly, pets are safely kenneled. For pets that do not kennel, we utilize the private room as a secure, comfortable safe space while I'm away.
About: Growing up I’ve had pitbulls, chihuahuas, hedgehogs , hamsters, bunnies, lizards and snakes growing up. Love having animals around, just not ready for any full time of our own, Thought this was a great step! I have 3 kids in school, I hike 4-6 times a week, I love bringing dogs with me so ask about my daily pricing but I usually charge an hour fee ( with a small pickup fee to cover gas) and we are gone for 1.5-6 hours of exercise depending on the day. Sometimes we are with other furry friends or people friends, I can work with off leash or on leash and we usually focus on free time and working on the dogs recall, sit and manners with other explorers. On hot days we like to wander down to the dog beach where we have been working on swimming skills I have a backyard, and some acreage beside us. Love hikes and going to the river. Always ready for any adventure your dog is ready for even if it means staying home and getting some rest.
“Armando is the BEST!!! My puppy right away was wagging his tail and looked comfortable from the start. I felt so much peace knowing that my puppy was going to looked after so well. Thank you Armando for looking after my puppy 🐶 as your own. I look forward to booking again soon. Wishing you continued blessings of great success and happiness!”

“As an out of towner looking for last minute doggie daycare she was easy to communicate with and made the process easy. She took care in slowly introducing Riley to her other dogs so that all the dogs could have the best interactions. Thanks for watching Riley today!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and truly can’t imagine life without them. I currently share custody of my golden retriever Flynn, having dogs has taught me so much about patience, consistency, and how important it is to give dogs both structure and love. I also had the incredibly meaningful experience of fostering a rescue dog through Barney’s Furry Friends. She was found abandoned and needed patience, structure, and a lot of love to feel safe again. That experience taught me so much about building trust, understanding dog behavior, and supporting dogs with anxiety or past trauma. Because of this, I’m very attentive, compassionate, and tuned into each dog’s unique personality and needs. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, or somewhere in between, I aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like they’re my own. I’ve also cared for several friends’ dogs and currently help look after a golden retriever in my neighborhood, so I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether it’s a relaxed drop-in visit, an energetic walk, or just spending quality time keeping your dog company, I’m happy to adapt to what your dog needs. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy being around dogs. I can also support basic training like reinforcing good leash manners and simple commands if that’s something you’re working on. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. 🐾 Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I currently help care for my own dogs as well as a dog in my neighborhood, so I’m very used to planning my day around walks, check-ins, and making sure dogs get the attention and exercise they need. While I do currently have another job, I’m actively building my dog walking and pet care services with the goal of making this my full-time focus. I’m committed to being reliable, communicative, and consistent, and I carefully manage my schedule to ensure every dog I care for gets the time and attention they deserve. I genuinely love incorporating dog care into my day it doesn’t feel like work to me, and I’m excited to continue growing this into something long-term. 🐾 I provide pet care in a safe, attentive, and structured way, always prioritizing each pet’s comfort and well-being. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medications if needed, and any specific rules the owner has in place. For dog walks and drop-in visits, I ensure pets are always securely leashed and supervised at all times. I avoid off-leash areas unless explicitly approved by the owner, and I pay close attention to the dog’s behaviour, environment, and safety during every visit. While I do not have a fenced yard and I only have my own dogs part-time, this service is focused on walks and in-home care, where pets remain under direct supervision. I make sure every pet feels calm, cared for, and safe, and I always provide updates so owners have peace of mind while they’re away.

About: Nicole and I share a lifelong bond with pets, having grown up surrounded by them. Throughout our adult lives, we've been dedicated pet owners, currently cherishing our 5-year-old dog, Bowser. From puppyhood, we've diligently trained him, and my work-from-home setup has allowed for ample time to prioritize his training and exercise needs. In addition to our canine companion, I have a rich history of caring for cats, involving tasks such as feeding, cleaning litter, and ensuring their safety outdoors, a responsibility I've carried since childhood. Nicole, on the other hand, has always had the joy of growing up with dogs. Our collective experiences form a foundation of pet expertise, and our shared passion for animals is reflected in the years of dedicated pet care we bring to Rover. As dedicated artists working from home and committed dog parents, Nicole and I seamlessly integrate our flexible schedules to prioritize your furry companion's needs and well being. If you'd like, my wonderful dog Bowser is eager to keep your pet company during walks or visits. I love exploring different environments, so we can hit the trails or stroll through town, depending on what your pet enjoys. Making sure bathroom breaks are on a regular schedule is a top priority for me. I'm also a fan of training and playtime, so I'll gladly tend to any other needs your pet might have. I'm here to tend to your pet's specific needs, so you can feel at ease knowing they are in good hands with their new friend.

Between the two of us, your pet will never be left alone, we work together to keep their routine consistent, stress free, and full of love. Weekdays and weekends are both flexible for us, so we’re able to accommodate early drop offs & late pickups! I live in a quiet, pet friendly strata complex with a fenced grassy backyard, perfect for safe & supervised potty breaks and some fresh air. When more activity is needed, I take dogs on leashed walks in our peaceful neighborhood to give them a change of scenery and a chance to stretch their legs. Inside, there’s plenty of room for zoomies, toys, and relaxed downtime. I keep the home calm, clean, and free of hazards, and I always make sure your pet has a cozy space to feel safe and comfortable. Your dog will be supervised throughout the day and never left alone for long. I also believe that clear communication is key. I’ll always ask about your dog’s routine, preferences, and any special needs. Whether it's feeding times, potty routines, or favorite toys, I’ll make sure your pet feels right at home. Your pup's well being, safety, and happiness are my top priorities and with my son Alexander helping me every step of the way, your furry friend will always have a familiar, caring presence by their side.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since a young age. I’ve had many neighbors, family, and friends trust me to care and love for their dogs I will have lots of time to play with your pups! I’m currently available any day or time of the week and weekends if needed I have a big fenced in yard and one very loving Pomeranian who loves to be friends with anything and everyone. I do also have 2 cats one is an inside cat and once an outside cat, they are both very friendly.
About: Cat owner for 4 years, and when I lived with family we have owned multiple dogs throughout my life, so I have experience in taking care of a variety of sizes and breeds of dogs! Currently very free form in terms of work, so I can happily mold my work days around pet sitting / walking for you, in whatever case needed! Very very comfortable around all breeds and sizes of dogs and cats, I’m familiar with putting dogs in crates, putting them inside / outside and general care!
About: I’ve spent over a decade caring for small and large breed dogs and have a special place in my heart for big dogs that are full of energy! I’m all about making walks more than just exercise by working on training skills along the way, whether that’s reinforcing basic commands or following your specific training methods. Whether your pup’s up for a long stroll, a jog, or a nearby hike, I’d love to take them out for some fun and fresh air. I have a flexible schedule and am available seven days a week, when needed! Otherwise, I am regularly available on weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. I understand what an honour it is to be entrusted with your fur babies and do not take that responsibility lightly. Your pup is leashed and beside me at all times and is never taken to an unfamiliar location.

About: I lost my Great Pyrenees 2 years ago. Since then my girlfriend and I fostered 3 dogs for about 9 months in total. It was hard but very rewarding. I miss hanging with dogs but can’t necessarily commit to my own. I work full time but just five minutes away. My 19 year old daughter lives with me. She has a cat but they are in a separate space. I love going to for walks around the neighborhood, along the dyke, Hope Slough, or the Vedder river. I have a fenced backyard but it’s gravel, a large deck and a garden (no grass). There is grass in the front yard but it’s not fenced. Your pup would have full access to the house but there are stairs up to the main level and stairs going outside. I don’t mind having pups on the couch or my bed. I enjoy the company. My house is pretty quiet. Dogs usually like watching the squirrels and neighborhood activities from my large front window. My 19 year old daughter lives in the basement suite with her cat. She loves animals too and can help with walks and potty breaks when I am at work. I find having a dog gives me purpose and joy. I can’t commit to a dog right now so this seems like a great alternative!
About: We love animals and grew up with them. More recently, we have gained a lot of experience with reactive dogs. We rescued a two-year-old German Shepherd mix who is highly dog and people reactive. We have done a tonne of positive and balanced training. So, if you have an animal who needs a little bit of extra patience, we can definitely do that (adhering to whichever training style you’ve chosen to adopt). We both love being active outdoors and would happily take your dog on runs, walks and hikes!! And, we can’t forget the cats, we are always happy for a cuddle. We have pretty flexible jobs and work from home much of the time, so we can fit it in potty breaks, walks etc whenever is needed :) We don’t care for pets in our home (because of our reactive dog), but would love to care for your animals in your home. We will adjust to whatever routine, training, and rules you have!
“Well above our expectations! She sent us a Rover card, complete with pictures of her doggy walk and the route, and was responsive to our inquiries. She's without a doubt experienced with dogs, and we would choose her again in a heart beat.”

“Jen is so wonderful! She has a gentle and caring presence that allows her to build a relationship with animals quickly. My pup loves his walks and always comes back happy and relaxed. Super reliable and always full of positive energy. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had two of my own dogs and currently have a senior pup. I frequently care for friends’ pets and I am interested in expanding. I love working with dogs, it is such a rewarding experience. I’m more than happy to offer discounted prices as I build my experience on Rover! I cannot wait to meet your pup! Currently finished with summer semester in school so I have lots of availability to care for your pups! Available all day and evenings, and on short notice. I'm attentive, patient, and treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand that every pup has unique needs and a routine, and I want to work to maintain that to help them feel safe and happy while their owners are away.
