“Second time Frankie has stayed with Carl and everything was great. I highly recommend him to others looking for a pet sitter. It is so nice to have photos to see what she gets up to during her stay. We will for sure use Carl again the next time we need a sitter for Frankie!”

“Julie and her husband are fantastic people. My dog was so happy to be there, that she didn't want to leave lol. They are great with communication, and sending pics/videos. I definitely recommend her for all your dog needs!!!! I will continue to use her often.”

“We had never used Rover but needed to find somewhere for our girl to go while we went away for the holidays. A boarding style situation just didn’t feel right for our spoiled pup. Right from our first communication - Asialee, Jonathan and kiddos were a perfect fit! They encouraged a meet and greet before booking and we even did a trial stay for a couple nights. Poppy was happy and taken care of like she was one of the family! While we were away they sent photos and videos - reassuring us that she was doing great (though we had no doubt) and even brought her to their family Christmas dinner. If we could give 10 stars, we would. Thank you for taking the best care of Poppy - she can’t wait to see your family again soon!”

“Arshjot gave such great care to my doggie while I was away for the weekend. Drop off and pick up was easy, she communicated with me throughout my dog’s stay with her and I felt totally at ease that he was in good care. I would definitely contact Arshjot again for dog sitting in the future!”

“Xana was fantastic! Every step of the way very amazing and communicative, easy to work with and the girls had an absolute blast with her! Cannot recommend her enough for your fury family, I know my girls loved the big yard but the real sweet side was her home being so welcoming and accepting! I usually hate leaving my dogs and have really bad anxiety and worry about them the entire time, but for the first time I didn’t have to worry cuz xana and her family had them”

“My French bull dog has such a good time with Shawn's Beagle. He gets lots of exercise and love. Shawn also keeps me updated with pictures and messages so I can see how my dog is doing.”

“Gabriella is an excellent dog sitter. My Maggie (dog) and Gabriella bonded instantly; from the moment I saw Maggie greeted her moving her tail and standing on her two legs; I knew i had chosen the right person to look after my dog. I received daily updates with photos while I was away, which gave me peace of mind. Thank you Gabriella. I recommend her immensely; if i could give her 10 stars; i would. I will ho back to her next time I go away.😃”

“Our first time using Rover and it was a great experience thanks to Rochelle. Super easy booking, clear communication and River came home exhausted after his sleepover and playtime! Will definitely be using again.”

“Heather was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She was very easy to work with and went above and beyond with our doggy. She treated her as her own, and kept us updated with photos and text messages.”

“This is our first time dropping our dog off to stay somewhere overnight. Dolly put all our nervousness to rest. She is very knowledgeable about dogs. It was evident from the videos and pictures she sent that our dog was having a great time! She got lots of exercise and play time, and we would gladly trust Dolly with her again. Our dog was not sure she wanted to leave when we came to pick her up!”

“Ryan offered an amazing stay for our Ozzie! Consistent updates and photos allowed us to ease into our day without worry. Seeing how comfortable our Ozzie was in his care made all the difference for us! Ozzie would be happy and lucky to have more time with Ryan! Thanks again for taking care of our Ozzie Bear!”

“Jenna is a fantastic dog sitter. We left on vacation for 2weeks and Jenna take an amazing care of our 17month old Millie. Millie is an energetic puppy with very little recall training ( she knows all the tricks, very loyal and never live your side, until she is outside), we definitely need to work on that. But, Jenna managed to keep her very happy with long walks and even did some training. She'll send me pictures of Millie and ask questions if necessary. I would highly recommend Jenna and will call her again when we are going to vacation next time.”

“I want to start by saying that I am not a typical review'er but I am completely blown away with the care that was given to Goose. The amount of physical activity that was provided to Goose and the other dogs that were there was completly mind blowing. I have NEVER left my dog with anyone other then Doggie Day care building up for our trip to be away. Goose came back from her time away COMPLETLY stable and not even a single ounce of stress and she was there for 5 days. We have found our care giver for life!”

“Sheena was great with Freddie! She provided regular updates during his stay, he got to hang out with a dog and cat while in her lovely home. She even has a fenced in back yard that he could get to experience being off-leash! This was our first time leaving him with someone who we were not familiar with, she put our minds at ease. Highly recommend!”

“Nikhil cared for our dog Maddie, when we were out of province. He was kind enough to keep us updated with videos of our dog, who was happily playing. His communication was especially excellent when doing a meeting and greet, and when booking his services. We would not hesitate to have Nikhil care for Maddie in the future. Thank you Nikhil!”

“Paulo and Cristina were absolute lifesavers for our last-minute trip to Europe! Due to unexpected administrative issues, we couldn’t bring our dog, Mousse, and they graciously accepted to care for her for an entire month with very short notice. They provided exceptional care, sending us frequent photos and videos that kept us reassured and connected. Mousse was happy, healthy, and clearly loved during her stay. Their kindness and professionalism saved our vacation, and we will always be grateful. Highly recommend this wonderful family to anyone needing top-notch pet care!”

“Ayesha is wonderful! She took great care of our dog Dory for 2 weeks while we were on vacation and it was obvious how much she loves dogs. Dory has special dietary requirements which Ayesha took seriously, and when Dory did have some stomach issues made sure to tell us right away, gave her the medication she needed and kept us updated. She also took Dory on lots of very long walks and Dory was visibly happy when I picked her up, she obviously had a great time and was very well looked after. Ayesha also sent lots of photos and responded very quickly to messages, and was very accommodating to some last minute changes of plan. Thank you!”

“Celena was great with our kitty, and we got some beautiful photos of her thrown into the mix too, as a bonus! Our cat is super friendly if she’s comfortable, but can be nervous with new people, and especially new smells! It means a lot that Celena was able to connect with our kitty so quickly while we were away.”

“Tanis took amazing care of my cat while I was on vacation. She followed all instructions carefully and made sure he got his food, treats, and all his supplements every day. She was very caring and clearly looked after his comfort and wellbeing, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I truly appreciated her updates and the level of care she provided. I’d definitely trust her again and highly recommend her.”

“Katie was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive to all of my cat's needs. She kept me updated with adorable pictures and messages throughout the day. I was able to enjoy my time away without any worries. Highly recommend Katie to anyone looking for a reliable, loving sitter for their furry friends!”

About: I am an experienced dog walker and cat/dog sitter from Chicago, IL! I worked with a private dog walking company as well as providing many years of cat and dog sitting to clients in my neighborhood. I am studying animal welfare at UBC and getting my PhD in dairy cattle welfare, so I am very passionate about animal behaviour and wellbeing. I own two wonderful cats and have worked in a cat clinic administering medicine in the past. I have lots of experience reading cat behaviour and providing companionship for them! I additionally volunteered as a dog walker at a shelter in Chicago for years and was trained on how to walk dogs with behavioural issues. I would love the opportunity to be around dogs more, as I can't have one with my two cats, and am away from the dogs I used to sit in Chicago! I am a current grad student so I have extreme flexibility! I can make almost every day or time work for checking in on or walking your pet. I am someone who cares about safety and wellbeing over all else (hence the animal welfare PhD!) and will make sure your pet is safe and happy. I have many years of experience and am very cautious when taking care of someone's pet!

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and for the past year and a half, I've been lucky enough to turn that passion into daily dog walking and care. Whether it’s getting pups out for a fun, enriching walk or making sure they get love and attention while you’re away, I’m here to ensure your dog feels safe, happy and cared for. I take the time to get to know each dog individually. Some love adventure and long walks, while others need a slower pace or a little extra patience - and I’m happy to adjust to whatever makes your dog comfortable. I’m also experienced with some leash training and helping nervous dogs feel at ease. I have my current pet first aid certificate so I’m prepared to handle unexpected situations calmly and confidently. I keep pet parents in the loop with regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! I provide full time pet care, so I have availability throughout the week, Monday to Friday. I also have some availability on weekends for pet sitting. I am unable to provide pet care services at my home. However, I am happy to provide pet sitting services at your location where your dog can feel most comfortable.

About: I have been responsible for, taken care of, and assisted in the care of cats for well over a decade. From caring for my own, to cat sitting for young kittens and elderly cats that needed medical assistance (medications, dietary restrictions). I have been trusted with the care of many in my lifetime.
About: I bring several years of hands-on experience working with animals in both professional and personal settings. I’ve worked and volunteered with the Edmonton and Ottawa Humane Societies as a Canine Enrichment Facilitator, Animal Care Attendant, Adoption Coordinator, and foster parent. I’m confident working with puppies, adults, and senior dogs of all breeds and temperaments, and I’m comfortable administering medications when needed. I’ve also worked as a professional dog walker, daycare attendant, and groomer’s assistant, giving me a strong understanding of canine behaviour, body language, and daily care routines. I have personal experience with reactive and dog-selective dogs, so I understand the importance of structure, boundaries, and reading subtle cues. I use a calm, patient, and positive approach to help dogs feel safe and supported in any situation. At home, I care for my two senior dogs and am very used to managing different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Whether your dog needs exercise, routine care, medication, or just some extra attention while you're away, I aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for—just like they would at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already care for multiple animals every day. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. I’m often available on short notice and can accommodate mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. Since I’m already outside frequently with the farm dogs and my own two pups, adding your dog’s walk or visit into my day is easy and enjoyable. I don’t offer in-home boarding because I live communally on a farm with my two dogs, two farm dogs, two cats, and three chickens. However, this means I’m extremely experienced in safely managing different animals, personalities, routines, and environments. When I provide drop-in visits or walks at your home, I make sure your pet feels secure, respected, and comfortable. I follow your routines closely—feeding, meds, enrichment, cleaning, or anything else you need. I always use positive reinforcement, move at the pet’s pace, and keep safety as the top priority on every visit.

“We had a great cat-sitting experience with Andrea! She was very flexible and accommodating and sent us regular updates and photos. When we returned home, our cats were happy and relaxed - clearly they enjoyed Andrea's company and care!”

About: Growing up I’ve had pitbulls, chihuahuas, hedgehogs , hamsters, bunnies, lizards and snakes growing up. Love having animals around, just not ready for any full time of our own, Thought this was a great step! I have 3 kids in school, I hike 4-6 times a week, I love bringing dogs with me so ask about my daily pricing but I usually charge an hour fee ( with a small pickup fee to cover gas) and we are gone for 1.5-6 hours of exercise depending on the day. Sometimes we are with other furry friends or people friends, I can work with off leash or on leash and we usually focus on free time and working on the dogs recall, sit and manners with other explorers. On hot days we like to wander down to the dog beach where we have been working on swimming skills I have a backyard, and some acreage beside us. Love hikes and going to the river. Always ready for any adventure your dog is ready for even if it means staying home and getting some rest.

About: Nicole and I share a lifelong bond with pets, having grown up surrounded by them. Throughout our adult lives, we've been dedicated pet owners, currently cherishing our 5-year-old dog, Bowser. From puppyhood, we've diligently trained him, and my work-from-home setup has allowed for ample time to prioritize his training and exercise needs. In addition to our canine companion, I have a rich history of caring for cats, involving tasks such as feeding, cleaning litter, and ensuring their safety outdoors, a responsibility I've carried since childhood. Nicole, on the other hand, has always had the joy of growing up with dogs. Our collective experiences form a foundation of pet expertise, and our shared passion for animals is reflected in the years of dedicated pet care we bring to Rover. As dedicated artists working from home and committed dog parents, Nicole and I seamlessly integrate our flexible schedules to prioritize your furry companion's needs and well being. If you'd like, my wonderful dog Bowser is eager to keep your pet company during walks or visits. I love exploring different environments, so we can hit the trails or stroll through town, depending on what your pet enjoys. Making sure bathroom breaks are on a regular schedule is a top priority for me. I'm also a fan of training and playtime, so I'll gladly tend to any other needs your pet might have. I'm here to tend to your pet's specific needs, so you can feel at ease knowing they are in good hands with their new friend.

About: I love dogs since I’m a kid. Finally got my own dog 5 years ago and would love to take care of yours too! I believe all dogs need exercise to be healthy so I really follow through to provide great outdoor adventures hiking. I am on maternity leave now and have plenty of time to take care of dogs during the day or night. I already take care of my own dog Louie and he would be so happy to have a friend to play with! For doggy day care, I offer pick up and drop off as well. I take my own dog for 2 walks a day, which average 2-4 hours exercise. Ideal if you have a pup full of energy! I always go where there are not too many people so dogs can run off leash and be happy. I can also walk your dog on leash if it’s required. The rest of the day is spent at home, with food and water as needed and lots of love. In the summer, I can bring the dogs to Cultus Lake for a swim. My strata unfortunately does not allow pit bull or Rottweiler breeds. Your dog must be friendly with other dogs as Louie is with me at all time. He is neutered and very gently with other dogs.

“This was our first time using Rover. We were thrilled to work with Paula. She answered all of our questions and was very responsive/friendly. Our dog has some quirky behaviours and is a nervous boy. She did amazing with him and sent of lots of updates. We will feel at ease using her again in the future. 😊”

“Angela is AMAZING! We have a fear reactive dog, who can be a real handful. She’s been so good at making him feel safe - and is an expert at reinforcing his leash skills. We couldn’t be happier!”

“Danielle is amazing! My dog is alone for long days and she makes sure he gets the exercise he needs! He’s high energy and can be a bit anxious and from the start she’s really taken the time to meet his needs. I would highly recommend. :)”

“Fiona was fantastic! We had to book last minute, and she was incredibly accommodating. She responded quickly to all of my messages—especially helpful since we had unexpected things like construction and house showings going on. She even kept Oban a few minutes longer to let a house viewing finish up, which we really appreciated. We’ll definitely use her again and highly recommend her for your dog’s care!”

About: We love animals and grew up with them. More recently, we have gained a lot of experience with reactive dogs. We rescued a two-year-old German Shepherd mix who is highly dog and people reactive. We have done a tonne of positive and balanced training. So, if you have an animal who needs a little bit of extra patience, we can definitely do that (adhering to whichever training style you’ve chosen to adopt). We both love being active outdoors and would happily take your dog on runs, walks and hikes!! And, we can’t forget the cats, we are always happy for a cuddle. We have pretty flexible jobs and work from home much of the time, so we can fit it in potty breaks, walks etc whenever is needed :) We don’t care for pets in our home (because of our reactive dog), but would love to care for your animals in your home. We will adjust to whatever routine, training, and rules you have!
“Well above our expectations! She sent us a Rover card, complete with pictures of her doggy walk and the route, and was responsive to our inquiries. She's without a doubt experienced with dogs, and we would choose her again in a heart beat.”

As a dog owner and lover, I’m home full time and available throughout the day to give your pup the love, attention, and care they deserve. Whether it’s morning potty breaks, midday walks, or evening cuddle time, I’m here and fully present. My son Alexander also helps out daily, especially with walks, playtime, and making sure your dog gets plenty of attention and companionship. Between the two of us, your pet will never be left alone, we work together to keep their routine consistent, stress free, and full of love. Weekdays and weekends are both flexible for us, so we’re able to accommodate early drop offs & late pickups! I live in a quiet, pet friendly strata complex with a fenced grassy backyard, perfect for safe & supervised potty breaks and some fresh air. When more activity is needed, I take dogs on leashed walks in our peaceful neighborhood to give them a change of scenery and a chance to stretch their legs. Inside, there’s plenty of room for zoomies, toys, and relaxed downtime. I keep the home calm, clean, and free of hazards, and I always make sure your pet has a cozy space to feel safe and comfortable. Your dog will be supervised throughout the day and never left alone for long. I also believe that clear communication is key. I’ll always ask about your dog’s routine, preferences, and any special needs. Whether it's feeding times, potty routines, or favorite toys, I’ll make sure your pet feels right at home. Your pup's well being, safety, and happiness are my top priorities and with my son Alexander helping me every step of the way, your furry friend will always have a familiar, caring presence by their side.

“Micaela has been awesome with our reactive pup, Scooby. Reliable, great communication, and a huge help with walks while we’re at home with a newborn. Our dog warmed up to her right away and is so excited when it’s time for his weekly walk.”

About: I'm just as happy taking a dog out on an adventure exploring new environments as I am giving them a calm, relaxed day at home I'm currently back at school and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to prioritize walks, check ins, and quality time throughout the day rather than trying to squeeze it in I care for pets by keeping their routine as consistent and stress-freebasb possible, whether they're in my home or theirs. I follow feeding schedules closely, make sure they get the right amount of exercise and spend equality time with them do they feel comfortable and secure.
About: I’ve had a variety of pets since I was little and cared for them well. I am the go to for my friends and family when they are away. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits, birds and fish. I currently work from home so I am flexible with my availability daily and weekly. I also have a separate space for pets who need their own area to feel comfortable if they are staying with me. I have parks and trails for daily dog walking. I am able to be flexible with pets needs in my home or at a client’s home. As a pet parent myself, I also have experience with pet grooming and administering medications if needed.

Thank you!”

About: I lost my Great Pyrenees 2 years ago. Since then my girlfriend and I fostered 3 dogs for about 9 months in total. It was hard but very rewarding. I miss hanging with dogs but can’t necessarily commit to my own. I work full time but just five minutes away. My 19 year old daughter lives with me. She has a cat but they are in a separate space. I love going to for walks around the neighborhood, along the dyke, Hope Slough, or the Vedder river. I have a fenced backyard but it’s gravel, a large deck and a garden (no grass). There is grass in the front yard but it’s not fenced. Your pup would have full access to the house but there are stairs up to the main level and stairs going outside. I don’t mind having pups on the couch or my bed. I enjoy the company. My house is pretty quiet. Dogs usually like watching the squirrels and neighborhood activities from my large front window. My 19 year old daughter lives in the basement suite with her cat. She loves animals too and can help with walks and potty breaks when I am at work. I find having a dog gives me purpose and joy. I can’t commit to a dog right now so this seems like a great alternative!
About: Hi I'm Katie! Also known as that British lady! I have owned dogs my entire life, usually always two at a time. I currently have one of my own after losing three elderly dogs in the last few years. I now only have Ernie a chihuahua cross i rescued from Kansas in 2017. I've had experience with various breeds and fostered ex racer greyhounds for a while in the U.K. I also have two indoor/outdoor cats I rescued as kittens from local feral cat litters. I finish work for the Summer in June and can offer drop in services up to three times a day for dogs, cats and smaller furries if you live in the local area, Maple Falls etc. These can be whilst you’re at work to give your beloved pet a potty break or they can be for longer stretches of time while you vacation so you can feel secure your dogs are in their own home safe and comfortable. I can also board dogs in my own home from all over Whatcom county if they are dog/cat/responsible kid friendly. I have a fenced in yard and a very dog friendly house! I finish work for the summer in June and have a lot of availability for both walks, drop ins and boarding! From June 12th my schedule really opens up! I have a fenced yard and a dog friendly home. I have two dog friendly cats who are indoor and outdoor and tolerated living with four dogs and two kids. Dogs are allowed on my sofa and bed but only if you allow that at home… I don’t want to create bad habits!

About: I am a dog lover, and have run, trained, and explored with dogs almost every day of my life! I have three dogs of my own, and have always had busy working dogs with me. I spend the majority of my personal time training dogs, and I have experience with reactive dogs, nervous dogs, and dogs with very, very high energy requirements, as well as your classic couch potatoes. My goal is to meet every dog where they are at and give them their very best day, whether that means taking them out on a big adventure, snuggling them, or letting them run wild on my 5 acres. I work full time as a teacher, and during the week can fit in dog walks or drop in visits in the mornings and evenings before or after work. My weekends are open to take dogs on adventures! When I am out on summer break June through August, I have full availability to wear out dogs. Dogs are always very closely supervised in your yard or mine (line of sight). We will work together to develop a plan if your dog participates in adventure days dependent on your dog’s individual needs. Options include: leash, long line, GPS collar, etc.
“We have used Jimmy’s services twice and I can’t imagine using anyone else. This last time was for 3 weeks with both of our dogs and they were incredibly cared for and happy. Plus Jimmy sent us pictures constantly which was really appreciated. Thank you for everything Jimmy! I know Loki and Arte miss you guys already!”

“Ashleigh provided excellent care for Freddie. We were afraid he wouldn't want to leave with us after the fun time he had there. She was very flexible to our schedule which changed a few times.”
