Safety, trust & environment

I always require a meet and greet at my home to see if your dog will get along with my cats. I will not bring a dog into my home that has any history of violence towards cats. When I care for a pet in my home, I always make sure there is nothing in my home or backyard that could hurt them or make them sick BEFORE their arrival. My cat's food gets moved up and your dog gets a large clean water bowl. All animal food, treats, medicines are locked away for safety. I have a fully fenced backyard with a secure gate, and a cable line for dogs that need to be extra secured. There are multiple spots in my backyard with shade and plenty of space for your dog to sunbathe and roll in the grass. There is always access to clean drinking water and I have toys specifically for outside play. I have a gate in the hallway to allow separation from my cats if need be, and my cats get full access to our catio patio. I will leash your dog inside my home while they get used to my cats, to keep everyone safe. Your dog is welcome to sleep on a bed on my bedroom floor or on my bed if they choose to. I have blankets on each of my couches that get changed and washed between each dog, so they are welcome to nap or cuddle with me on the couch. I have a been of shared dog toys that get replaced or washed often.

Information Catherine L. would like to know about your pet

When I meet you and your pet, I will ask you for a history of injuries, if they have any known allergies, any meical needs, if you got them as a puppy or from a rescue, how they react to other dogs, if they dislike certain animals, what training they have bene taught and what needs to me worked on, what their favourite things are, any triggers or history of reactivity, etc.

A typical day

While your dog is in my care, we can play ball or frisbee in my backyard, go for walks around my neighborhood, or even go for a car ride. We can drive to a local park for an adventure or to socialize with other dogs safely. I often take dogs to dog friendly stores to work on training and mannerisms, especially if the weather is too hot or too cold to be walking in our neighborhood. Thankfully there are many wonderful parks close to my home and I live in a quiet safe neighborhood.

Your pet's new best friend!

Pet care experience

Since I was a young child, I have been so drawn to a wide variety of animals. I have rescued and rehabilitated many wild animals, and taken care of many pets of all sizes! I have personally had cats, dogs, bunnies, birds, lizards, snakes, fish, chickens and nuce as loving pets. I admire how each animal is truly unique and special. My dream ia to open an animal rescue someday and help find long-term loving homes for many of our homeless local cat and dog populations. Everywhere I go, I make new animal friends, and they are drawn to my calm and caring energy. Your pet will be treated like my own, and you can trust me to keep your pet safe. I currently have 2 cats of my own whom I absolutely love and spoil! Call me Miss Do-little! My personal schedule is quite flexible, and I can often accommodate short notice bookings, and be flexible with my client's schedules. I ask questions to ensure proper care and follow owners instructions to keep their pet and myself safe and well. People can trust me in their homes and with their animals!

Catherine was excellent! She went above and beyond with her car for my boys. She kept in contact and sent pictures. Brought in packages. She was great and we’ll definitely be using her services again.
