“Thank you Ayesha, for taking such good personal care of my Cooper. The photos were a nice touch. It showed me that he was relaxed and having fun with you. I definitely recommend Ayesha for any kind of pet sitting. She was professional and gave me a very comfortable feeling leaving my pup for the first time with the Pet Sitter. I will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Thank you thank you to Shalaine for her excellent care of our dog, Chester. He wasn’t eating well before the stay and Shalaine provided him with home cooked meals. She went above and beyond the call of duty. Shalaine’s entire family pampered Chester and kept him very happy during his time with them.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, and I’ve spent over four years living and working in an animal shelter in Italy, originally run by my mother. There, I cared for over 40 cats and 5 dogs at the same time, giving me hands-on experience in handling animals of all kinds. I know how to recognize when a pet isn’t feeling well, I can administer medication if needed, and I always make sure they are safe, happy, and comfortable. I love spending quality time with them, giving plenty of affection and attention throughout the day. What sets me apart is my shelter experience – I’ve managed multiple animals at once and understand how to keep them healthy, happy, and loved. Whether it’s cats or dogs, I’ll treat your furry family members as if they were my own. I’m generally available every day, whether in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings. Some days I can even visit twice a day, and on Saturdays and Sundays I’m available much more. I would love to have regular, long-term clients, as I believe it’s better for the animal to have a consistent caregiver rather than a different sitter every time. This way, I can build a strong relationship and trust with each pet. My schedule can be adjusted based on my work and shifts, and I’ll always keep my Rover calendar up to date to reflect my availability. make sure every pet is safe, comfortable, and happy. I follow their routine as closely as possible, including feeding, playtime, and bathroom breaks. I give plenty of attention, affection, and supervision throughout the visit. If I am caring for pets at their home, I respect their space and environment, keeping everything clean and following the owner’s instructions carefully. I can also administer medication if needed and monitor for any signs of discomfort or illness. My goal is to make each pet feel loved, secure, and well cared for, whether I am visiting or hosting them.
About: I have always had cats and dogs growing up. I have a beautiful lab/shepherd named Daphne and a fluffy cat named Mini at home <3. I am an avid outdoors woman and love exercise and nature. I take Daphne down to the river daily :) she loves to explore and play as much as I do. My partner and I manage pet care with ease. We take Daphne to grandpas when we are both away. I work a 9-5 work week Mon-Fri. I am available after work weekdays, and anytime weekends. :) I treat all pets as if they were my own, and same goes for a clients home. I am a nurturing and loving individual; caring for others and animals comes easy. :)

About: Hi I'm Katie! Also known as that British lady! I have owned dogs my entire life, usually always two at a time. I currently have one of my own after losing three elderly dogs in the last few years. I now only have Ernie a chihuahua cross i rescued from Kansas in 2017. I've had experience with various breeds and fostered ex racer greyhounds for a while in the U.K. I also have two indoor/outdoor cats I rescued as kittens from local feral cat litters. I finish work for the Summer in June and can offer drop in services up to three times a day for dogs, cats and smaller furries if you live in the local area, Maple Falls etc. These can be whilst you’re at work to give your beloved pet a potty break or they can be for longer stretches of time while you vacation so you can feel secure your dogs are in their own home safe and comfortable. I can also board dogs in my own home from all over Whatcom county if they are dog/cat/responsible kid friendly. I have a fenced in yard and a very dog friendly house! I finish work for the summer in June and have a lot of availability for both walks, drop ins and boarding! From June 12th my schedule really opens up! I have a fenced yard and a dog friendly home. I have two dog friendly cats who are indoor and outdoor and tolerated living with four dogs and two kids. Dogs are allowed on my sofa and bed but only if you allow that at home… I don’t want to create bad habits!
“Our dog had an absolutely wonderful stay with Saisoi. She was super with him and sent us regular pictures and videos so we knew he was well cared for. It made our trip much more relaxing as we were not worrying about him so much. We will definitely use her again and would recommend her to anyone.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
