I have owned dogs, cats, and birds since I was 10 years old. And I have had a deep connection to nature and its beautiful creatures for even longer. Animals have always seemed to naturally gravitate toward me, and I’m the guy at the social event you’ll find in the corner petting the dogs. I have been told I have “golden retriever energy”, so you know I can keep up with your more energetic animals. Walks will be daily, and dare I say your pet will have so much fun they won’t even miss you? (don’t worry though, daily updates will still be provided). I’ve been providing pet care to friends, family, and acquaintances for as long as I can remember… and now that I have more free time on my hands, I thought it’d be a great opportunity to branch out and offer my services to the masses. :)

I am incredibly responsible and respectful while I’m in your home, and will treat it like my own. Don’t be surprised if it is cleaner than you left it, as I like to keep my hands busy. I will pay extremely close attention to detail - if your pet is a runner, rest assured the gates will always be triple checked. If your pet has medical issues, medication will happily and carefully be administered as per your instruction. If your pet is anxious about your departure, extra care will be taken to ensure as much time spent in the home as physically possible.

We had some concerns with our dog. He’s reactive, so finding someone, we knew was going to be a little more difficult. But our initial meet and greet was perfect. Finnigan took to Jared like family. We’ve used Jared for walks, and he watched our house and Fin overnight. We are very happy with Jared and will be continuing to use him in the future 100%.
The animals didn’t even miss us! They seem to have been very well cared for. Communication was excellent

Jared was an excellent house-sitter keeping our two cats company whilst we were on vacation. He met us for a meet and greet at short notice which made us feel super comfortable to leave our pets in his hands. Both our cats were calm and happy when we returned so we know he took great care of them. Will definitely book with Jared again.
I've been using Jared to look after my animals for years, after being recommended to me by a close friend. As our pet family grows (now 2 dogs, 1 cat and a fish), Jared has always rose to the occasion and made sure all our animals get equal attention and care. Happy animals makes for a happy me, and I wouldn't look any further than Jared for worry-free care for my pets and home.

Schedule
I’m currently a student with a schedule that is not too demanding. My 6 hour school days still allow me to ensure daily walks and lots of love and attention, are things you can count on

- Please let me know if there’s any special requests or needs on our first meetup, so I have ample time to ask any related questions and make sure 1000% is understood. I won’t shy away from any extra needs, I just need to know ahead of time :)
