Since I’m retired, I have a very flexible schedule and can easily adapt my day around a pet’s routine. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks, feeding times, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I prioritize consistency, safety, and giving each pet calm, attentive care that fits their normal habits and energy level.

My goal is to keep every pet happy, mentally stimulated, and comfortable while maintaining their normal routine.

I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 10 years, including regularly looking after my brother’s pets and raising my own Labrador since he was a puppy. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding routines, bathing, and keeping pets comfortable with regular potty breaks and attention. I also completed a Dog Walker Certificate through Good Dog Academy. I treat every pet like family and focus on safe, reliable, and loving care while you’re away.

Alan did an excellent job providing dog walking and house sitting while we were away for just over a week. His communication was professional and consistent, and we really appreciated the regular updates and photos of our pets’ well-being and daily adventures. It made it much easier to relax knowing he was doing well. Before we left, Alan asked thoughtful questions about our pets’ routine, including the feeding schedule, how often our dog can have treats, and which vet we use in case of an emergency. Our dog can sometimes be a bit of a handful on walks, but Alan followed the leash training techniques we use and handled him really well. When we came home, the house was tidy and well cared for, and our pet was happy and relaxed. It was clear he had been well looked after. We truly appreciated the clear communication, reliability, and care Alan provided. We will definitely be booking with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker or pet sitter on Rover.
He walks my dog twice a week while I’m at work , my cat and dog love him. my dog looks forward to seeing him every time.
