Future dog owner in training
I’m a full-time elementary teacher who seeks experience to take care of a loving animal before I get a dog of my own. I trained a dog for one year when I was a teenager and have wanted to get a dog for years now, but my situation wasn’t always ideal for it. Now I want to see if my desire to get a pet is as strong as I think it is before I sign up an adoption form. By working with Rover, I hope to learn to tend for pets according to their owners’ directions and see what I’m capable of. I also really enjoy the presence of pets, and if I can get paid to be with one, I’m surely in heaven! I love the company of pets and will certainly treat them as my own, maybe even spoil them, with your permission!

We had an excellent experience with Marianne and Danna and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring and reliable pet sitters. They took wonderful care of our dog, Luca, and our cats, Coco and Echo, while we were away. Luca can be sensitive when his routine changes, and Coco and Echo each have their own unique personalities, but Marianne and Danna were patient, attentive, and incredibly kind with all three of them. We especially appreciated the updates and communication throughout our trip. Knowing that our pets were receiving so much care and attention gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. When we returned home, Luca, Coco, and Echo were happy, healthy, and clearly well looked after. It was obvious that Marianne and Danna genuinely cared about our pets and treated them with love and respect. They also kept our house very neat and clean, just like we left it. Thank you both for taking such great care of our furry family. We are truly grateful and would happily trust you with Luca, Coco, and Echo again in the future!
Marianne and her wife were SO helpful and accommodating. They truly went above and beyond in their care of our dog. Marianne was so communicative with us about how our dog was doing and our dog came back so tired and happy. I could tell he didn't want to leave their place! I will definitely book with Marianne again in the future.
I found Marianne while away on holiday. She was an incredible help to help my elderly mother walk my dog daily as my mom was struggling to take my dog for longer walks. Marianne would take my guy for much longer than the alloted time. I was told and have video evidence of my dog getting super excited every day before Marianne showed up to walk Bronco!
My boy had a great time with Marianne. Will definitely ask her to care for him again.
This was my first time boarding my rescue dog. We had checked out a kennel, but it wasn't for him because we had just started socializing him and I was nervous about the sounds, smells, and confinement of being in a kennel for a week. I checked out a few Rovers and found Marianne, who was a perfect fit. She's an excellent communicator, and sent me photos and updates everyday. It sounded like he had a lovely time, and even became a swimmer! (he's always been hesitant around water with us). I was glad that he was happy to see us when we returned and that he didn't fall so in love with Marianne that he no longer wanted to be with us - lol!
Marianne was so amazing with my dog, Charlie. She’s super friendly and welcoming, and I had every confidence she would take great care of Charlie. She sent regular updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend her and plan to have her watch Charlie again!

Zeitplan
I work full time in an elementary school but my schedule is flexible before 8:45 am and after 3pm during week days. My wife is also passionate and we always work together to care for pets tha we board. She works from home except on Wednesdays, so it gives us more flexibility.

When I’m with your pet, I dedicate my entire attention to them. I want to be fully present and enjoy every moment with them. I make sure to respect their needs and follow your instructions carefully. I will never go against your rules even if I get puppy eyes.
Ein typischer Tag
I live in the centre of Maple Ridge and work in Poco. I love to walk anywhere where I can see forest or mountains, so I have many options! I can easily walk for an hour, I also have access to many off leash dog parks but I always ask the owner first if the pet is use to them.
