Attentive care for beloved pets
I have raised puppies and taken care of elderly dogs as well. I ensure that they are attended to according to their own unique needs. This includes keeping to their routines, following their specific dietary and exercise needs, and attending to any medical care (the vet works just up the road). I am very devoted to the dogs in my home, and dote on them, giving them emotional and physical comfort and reassurance (knowing it's hard adjusting being away from their family); that is what makes their stay with us special. They are safe and know they are cared for. And yes, they might even get to sneak in an afternoon nap on the bed!

Thank you Colette making Daisy’s visit with you such a pleasure for both us and her! It was wonderful to receive pictures where you could tell that Daisy was genuinely happy to be with you. Colette was wonderful with Olive! Olive stayed with her for 2 nights and 3 days and had such a great time. Colette made sure she got lots of walks, outdoor yard time, and plenty of attention throughout her stay. We really appreciated the updates and felt comfortable knowing Olive was in good hands. Olive came home happy and well cared for. We would definitely book with Colette again!
We had such a great experience leaving Pinto with Colette. You can tell right away that she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after, which made it a lot easier to relax while we were away. Pinto came back happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable in her home. We also really appreciated the updates—it made a big difference knowing how things were going day to day. It’s not easy trusting someone else with your dog, but Colette made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.
Colette was amazing! She was super organized and asked all the right questions during our meet and greet, and she easily accommodated Gomi’s raw diet. While we were away, she kept us updated with photos, so we didn’t have to worry about him at all. Gomi is a high-energy dog, but she kept him active with 3 walks a day, and her calm home environment really made a difference. We’ve never seen him so relaxed. He even went back to her when we were leaving! We are so grateful to Colette and her husband for taking such great care of him. Highly recommend!
Collette went above and beyond when taking care of our dog, Kona. Kona experienced some unexpected health issues right before boarding and Collette was able to accommodate her needs while we were away.

Schedule
I work from home, and am around daily. My routine includes morning and afternoon walks in our neighbourhood (trails). Would love to have company on these walks!

I have a large house with big windows and fenced backyard in a parklike setting. I am very attuned to pets' needs and very devoted to attending to providing attention, nourishment and wellbeing.
A typical day
We will go for walks around the trails in my neighbourhood and play fetch/catch in the field above/below the trails. We go for two walks a day. We will also play with toys in my back yard which is fenced in and also have free time sniffing in the grass and the surrounding treed area. We will make sure to relax on dog beds in the living room and watch everyone pass by (we have large windows). We will have backyard "bathroom" breaks at least every two hours.
