Although young, I have lifelong experience with dogs, cats and horses. I love all breeds of dogs, and will treat your pet better than I would my own! Growing up I helped my Pit Bull breeder father deliver, train, and tune up our dogs. I prefer a less aggressive/alpha approach to handling animals, listening to their cues and going from there, as opposed to “my way or no way”. I’m a firm believer in the “less is more” approach when it comes to handling new animals to gain their trust- I will not overload your pet with affection unless they ask for it. Once they seem more comfortable with my presence I’ll open up and spark playtime. My goal is to be your best friend’s new best friend! I am very detail oriented and can follow special instructions, feel free to tell me anything extra and I’m on it. My 5+ years of experience stated on my profile is in regards to paid housesitting experience. I have house sat for people whose pets have included horses, fish, dogs and cats. My reason for joining Rover was that I love to be around animals! Currently I live with my mother who doesn’t want any furry friends in her home, so I’m branching out to get that fix. I own a horse so strong dogs aren’t really an issue and, as previously stated, I have experience with bully breeds. I’ve been very animal oriented all my life, so I’m very comfortable with them. I’m a quiet person naturally so a good choice for more skittish types; many people have called me an animal whisperer. I don’t discriminate species either, as I write this I’m currently cat sitting! To top it off I have my own car, so I have reliable transportation. **As of June 2020 I now have a dog of my own named Hera! Check out her profile to learn more!!** Rover is my only job; I do short and long term housesitting along with walks and drop ins. I’ve teetered with the idea of getting another part time job, but my little Rover business has been going well enough that I’ve decided to just dive into it instead. I really try to make it known to my clients that I’m flexible in my availability; since Rover is all I do for work. They can book me for whatever they need and I get it done, or find a way to make it work; I’ve even picked up some pups from daycare and transported them home in my car.
