Loving and Responsible Pet Care!
I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and currently have two family dogs, a 9-year-old Border Collie x Coonhound and a 7-year-old Boston Terrier, both full of energy! I grew up around many animals and often would pet sit for friends and family. I love spending time outdoors and exploring new trails, and when I lived in Pemberton, I’d take my dogs on 7am hikes and often picked up neighborhood dogs to join us. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and activity levels, and I make sure to give each pet the care and attention they need. I truly love all animals and look forward to meeting you and your pet/s!

I live in an apartment, but the complex has lots of open yard space for play and exercise. My favorite way to spend time with dogs is going on walks and hikes, and I’m happy to drive to nearby trails to make sure they get the activity they need. I’m very responsible and always follow any routines, rules, or training you have in place for your pet so they feel comfortable and secure. At home, pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and snuggles, and I make sure they’re never left alone for long. Whether it’s in my home or yours, I’ll treat your pets like family and give them the care they deserve.

Hazelle took wonderful care of my cat! Her roomate and boyfriend were also extra supportive. When I picked him up he was very happy and calm. She even picked him up extra treats when I forgot his.
Millie had her first longer-term (3ish weeks) stay with Hazelle and we could tell it went really well! Hazelle is calm and patient and Millie had a comfortable and enjoyable stay with her. Really quick and good communication too, we had no worries while we were away for so long. Would definitely recommend Hazelle!
Friendly, responsive, punctual, and very responsible. My pup, who has separation anxiety, came back happy and relaxed, so Hazelle did a wonderful job!

I've known Hazelle all my life and she has always been great at taking care of her pets. She has had two dogs for most of her life, and she is great at taking care of them and making sure they are fed and have been walked. She briefly lived on a farm where her and her family lived with multiple different breeds of animals, which were always well taken care of and safe. She loves dogs and cats and would love to work with Rover and help people out with their animals.

Schedule
I’m a full-time student at Camosun College, but my schedule is very flexible since my classes are spread out and only run Monday–Thursday. I’m usually out of my apartment for no more than 2 hours a day, so I have plenty of time to board animals, give them attention, and make sure their needs are met. Caring for pets also gives me the perfect reason to spend more time outdoors!

- It’s helpful to know any special routines, feeding schedules, or medications your pet needs, as well as their favorite activities, toys, or comfort items. I also like to know about their temperament, energy level, and how they interact with other animals or people. This helps me make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while they’re with me.
