About: i’ve never lived a day of my life without a dog (literally)! I started dog sitting when I was 15 and have taken care of up to three dogs at a time with varying age ranges from puppy to senior. I’m able to administer medication to different dogs and cats daily. I think there’s no better companion than my own dogs and cat, so I promise I will take the best care of yours! I can easily accommodate most schedules with daily checks. I have classes from 8 AM to 12 PM, but I’m able to wake up early to take care of animals. A few days a week I work at a restaurant until around 10 PM, but I am happy to go check on them throughout the day and then later in the evening if preferred. I always make sure medication‘s are put away, as well as any thing on the ground that they could get into. I typically watch my own dogs while they eat to make sure they eat everything but also to prevent any conflicts with resource guarding. When I check on animals, I tend to always play with them outside a little bit if they are dogs, or if the pet is more afraid, I just sit with them and talk with them for a few minutes.

About: I’ve take care of dogs for over a decade. My personal experience is in senior dogs and those with basic medications, or pets who are just a little more nervous than others. In the last 3 years I’ve gained experience wi the indoor only and indoor/outdoor cat care. My goal is to make your dog as comfortable as possible. I currently work full time 3 days a week and one day over the weekend. On weekends, your pup would be able to come with me to work. During the week, I would check in on them for an hour during lunch time to walk, feed, and love on. On days I work, I am gone for around 6 hours at a time. Staying at your pets home helps to ensure they feel as comfortable as possible. I try to stick as close to their routine as I can while also making sure we get quality time together (if that’s something they would want).

About: My family adopted a 10 month old rescue pup, Charlie, when I was 7 years old. For the 12 years that I got to spend with him he was my best friend. Although he was stronger than me the first few years of his life, I was still involved in his training and feeding care until I was big enough to take him out and walk him. Once I could handle him, I took him out, walked him, and helped give baths. As an adult, I have done multiple pet-sitting jobs for neighbors and family friends. I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages. My job experience includes retail, landscaping, and food/bar service. Working late nights in downtown Blacksburg, I have become keen at cleaning up messes of all kinds. This summer, my schedule is wide open! I play pool a couple of nights a week, but that doesn't last for more than a few hours and I can always go late/leave early to get back to the pets. When the school year starts, I will schedule pet sitting around my class schedule. I am equipped to handle dogs of almost any size on a leash, and I love to play fetch in a yard/at the park. I can keep food and water bowls clean and full, I can crate dogs if needed, and I can keep a litter box clean!

About: I have cared for my two 9-year old dogs since they were only a couple months old, so I’m comfortable with every stage from wild puppy energy to the slower, gentler needs of senior dogs. Over the years, I’ve handled sickness, medications, picky eating, and even giving IV fluids, so when it comes to pets who need more attention or special care, I am calm, confident, and capable. I also genuinely love getting outdoors and going on long walks, so active pets will get plenty of exercise and fresh air. My dogs mean the world to me, and I will 100% bring that same patient, loving, reliable energy to every pet I look after. You won't ever have to doubt that your animals will be treated with all the affection, consistency, and comfort they deserve. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine. I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I don’t work another job, so I’m fully available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends. That means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pets all the attention, walks, and care they need. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m more than happy to spend the whole day with them. I’m fully available most days and can even do my online classes from your home so your pet has company, comfort, and consistency. I love taking dogs on long walks, keeping them active, and giving them plenty of attention throughout the day. I can also stay overnight if needed. I’m big on keeping each pet’s routine exactly the same. Same feeding schedule, same walk times, same habits they’re used to. I’m very detail‑oriented and great at following instructions, especially since I’ve handled everything from puppy care to senior needs, medications, picky eating, and even IV fluids with my own dogs. Your pet will get steady, loving care and feel completely safe with me.

About: I would take care of little to big puppies of all ages. My favorite was a 7 year Great Dane I would house sit for. I have always grown up with animals and would also pet sit when my parents were out of town. My schedule is super flexible, since I am a college student! I can work with the owner and make sure the dog and cats get the attention they need:) I walk, feed, play and bath pets have worked with and have in my own house. I go for long walks and feed pets based on the owners preference.

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs, quite literally as our high energy Australian Shepherds would herd me around our yard. My family always had at least two energetic dogs, and a very lazy cat, so I have experience with dogs that need a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. I helped out from training them as puppies all the way to senior care, most recently helping to care for my senior dog who had diabetes. Since moving states, I have missed my family’s furry members and would love to help care for your babies while you are away! I do work full time but would love to make time to get in some furry friend time. Mornings, the noon hour, and evenings will work best on weekdays, while almost anytime on weekends is fine. I don’t travel too often but will have certain times blocked off on my calendar. I unfortunately do not have the space to offer pet care in my home at this time, but am open to caring for your pet in their space. I like to have open communication about how to best make both you and your pet comfortable to ensure everyone has the best experience possible.

About: I’ve had and loved pets my entire life! (I was convinced I was going to be a vet until I realized I would very likely sob every time a pet got sick.) From my black lab, Raven, to my cats Lily and Langston, to now, my long-haired chihuahua, Midge, animals are just a part of the day-to-day! Since age 12, I’ve been petsitting for friends, family, and neighbors (including overnight stays) and cared for dogs who are super energetic, playful, and independent to dogs who experience some anxiety and might need a bit more attention❤️! I also have experience caring for a bit older doggos. My black lab, Raven, lived to 16 and as her mobility and needs changed, I changed with her and it really taught me to be very attentive, gentle, and adaptive to a pets needs. I’m comfortable and experienced with walking, feeding, brushing, playtime, litter boxes, and loving and attention when pets want or need it❤️! So whether your pet is super energetic and playful or just wants a calm, reassuring companion, I’m happy to match their vibe and energy and make them feel loved and at home☺️🐾! I’m a junior at Virginia Tech and started rover this past summer for a fun way to make some extra money and I love it so much!! My schedule is a bit more limited because of my academics and extracurriculars but I definitely want to continue this and make time for your animals🥰! Whether that be walks or drop in visits, or anything your pet might need, I would love to care for them❤️ Mainly, I care for pets in the comfort of their own home with walks, drop-ins, or anything else your pet might need! I make sure to stick to their routine, make sure they get plenty of playtime, attention, and exercise (or just hang out if that’s more their style!) I don’t usually host pets in my home, but I’m super flexible and want to make sure your pet feels happy and loved, and I’ll always make sure to send updates and pics📸🫶!

About: I've grown up surrounded by animals my entire life, and that hands-on experience is what truly sets me apart. I was raised with three cats (2 indoor, 1 outdoor), caring for them from kittenhood all the way through end-of-life care, including demanding daily routines and administering medication. I also have two dogs of my own: a Mini Australian Shepherd I raised from a puppy and personally trained. He’s so smart he keeps me on my toes, which means I know exactly how to handle high-energy, high-drive breeds and the escape artists of the dog world. The other is a large pitty mix we adopted at age two who came to us with leash pulling, reactivity, excessive barking, and rough play habits, all of which I've worked through and successfully managed. I know how to confidently handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Beyond cats and dogs, I've owned two guinea pigs, a hamster, and fish, so I understand the specific and often overlooked needs of small pets too. I've also assisted my sister in fostering cats, many of whom were shy, post-surgical, or required medication and special feeding instructions, so I'm completely comfortable with pets that need a little extra patience and TLC. Most recently, I pet sat a kitten over spring break 2026, and I'm always happy to sit for other pet owners' animals as well. As a sophomore in Alpha Chi Omega, I bring the same reliability, respect, and communication to pet sitting that I bring to everything I do. I treat every pet as if they were my own, follow your routines to the letter, and love keeping owners in the loop with regular updates, photos, and videos, as often as you'd like. If you're looking for someone experienced, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about animals, I'm your person! I currently only have one exam left, so my schedule is essentially wide open! I'm in Blacksburg and available May 9–12 and May 16–22, with virtually nothing on my plate during those windows. Whether you need someone for a full house sit, multiple check-ins throughout the day, early morning visits, or late night drop-ins, I can make it work. Flexibility is my strong suit right now, so don't hesitate to reach out no matter the timing or frequency! I'm happy to care for pets both in my home and in yours! For in-home sitting and visits at your place, I'm completely comfortable following whatever routine, rules, and setup you have in place, your home, your way. If you'd like your pet to stay with me, I welcome that too! Just note that I live in an apartment, so I don't have a fenced-in yard, but my complex has a dog park and is surrounded by beautiful neighborhood nature trails that are perfect for walks and exploring. I'd also ask that you send everything your pet needs along with them (crate, food/water bowls, bed, toys, leash, etc.) so they have the comfort of their own familiar belongings, which is honestly better for them anyway!

About: I worked at a small animal hospital for a year and a half over school breaks, so I can administer medications, do CPR, and work with a variety of dogs and cats. I also took many animal courses in college as an Animal Science major which helps me know more about animal behavior, training, and well-being. I fostered cats and have taken care of my own cats and dogs growing up. I also volunteer at an animal shelter in my free time to socialize cats and walk their dogs. I can provide any special instructions/requests you might have. I am a graduate student and am done classes! I have flexible work hours in a research lab and can make sure to be there for your pet! I am very reliable, responsible and will make sure you and your pet’s needs are met! I can feed, play, and cuddle with them along with any other requests you may have. I will do any tasks or instructions you provide me with for how you like things done with your pet in your home. I can take them on walks, play in your yard, practice training tasks, feed them, and provide mental stimulation.

About: I have grown up around pets in the home and know how to love/take care of them. I will treat ur pet with love and kindness I treat my own. I am a full-time student so I mostly can visit in the afternoon, but weekends are completely open for me to care for your pet! I will care for your pet like I care for my home. I of course will treat your home with respect and be understanding of that.
