About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm surrounded by all sorts of creatures, and that early love has stayed with me. While I’m new to Roanoke, I previously supported the DC/NOVA area through Wag! for several years and am now looking forward to building connections with pet families here in my community. As a remote worker with a flexible schedule, I’m able to spend quality time with the animals I care for — whether they’re full of energy or need a little extra support. I’m comfortable with all kinds of animals, routines, and temperaments, and I do my best to honor what each one needs. Over the years, I’ve cared for many senior and special needs animals, including my two old-ladies, Chrissy and Raspy, who passed away this winter. I’m now kept on my toes by two playful kittens, Joan and Lirael. No matter their age, health, or temperament - I'm able to show up with consistency, patience, and care. I aim to be someone you can trust - not just to care for your animals - but to respect your home, follow routines closely, and communicate clearly while you’re away. I'm currently a remote worker with a flexible schedule. If I am staying in your home, I can work remotely from that location and keep a close eye on your pet. If I stopping in for a quick visit, I can generally drop in any time before 9am, during lunch, or after 4pm. Different times could also be arranged with some planning. About: I have been pet sitting since I was 16 years old. I have own animals my whole life and pride myself on taking care of them. I am experienced with cats, dogs, and rodents I currently work full time during the school year but have much more availability during the summer. I am available weekday evenings and most weekends. I ensure that the pets I care for stick to their routine and stay in their comfort zones. Safety and care are my number one priority

About: I have been taking care of my pets since I was around 10. I have 2 cats and a dog of my own. I foster dogs with my mother, which we have been doing for 3 years and have placed many dogs in wonderful homes. I really enjoy walking dogs and taking them on hikes for whatever exercise they need to get out. I watch a bunch of family friends pets and some people who live nearby to me, so I do have experience with that as well. I’m currently in college, but am home for the summer. I do not have much going on so I am feel all the time basically. I would be able to be very flexible for whatever you pet needs. I have my own dog who loves to play with other dogs if they are comfortable otherwise she has a crate. If your pet is crated I have extra crates if needed and I keep a timely feeding with my dog between 6-7am and 5-6pm. There is always water out. I do have some cats in the home where I reside.

About: Love all animals and will take care of any pet. Will make sure to make sure to play with them for a while each visit to ensure they are happy while you are away. Can usually do any time on any day of the week. Am planning to do this for my summer break before I leave for college. I will gently discipline if needed but mostly will just show affection and play with the animal. I find it most important to make sure they are happy while you are away.

About: I formerly worked at a dog kennel, where I’ve gained hands-on experience with just about every type of dog imaginable. I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and caring for them is truly my passion. I’m confident and prepared to handle just about anything — from administering medications to working with dogs of all sizes & personalities. I’ve cared for sick dogs, broken up countless dog fights, and responded to emergencies, including situations involving major injuries. No matter the circumstance, I’m dedicated to making sure every dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m in a program from 9–3 on weekdays, so my daytime availability is a bit limited. That said, I’m available for early morning visits (6–8 AM) and anytime after 3 PM, and I’d be happy to help! Weekends, I’m typically free all day. I don’t plan to bring dogs into my home, but during drop-in visits I’ll make sure your pup gets plenty of TLC — including playtime, bathroom breaks, feeding, and oral medication if needed. If there’s anything extra you’d like me to do, just let me know — I’m happy to help!

About: I have three years of professional experience caring for dogs and cats. I worked at a Veterinary Hospital and a kennel where I cleaned kennels and cages, fed the animals, walked the dogs, and played with them. In addition to that I have about a year of experience caring for dogs for friends, neighbors, and family. I currently work part time in the morning around 8-10 and get off around 4-7. I am available to provide pet care before and after work. While caring for your pets, their health and happiness is my priority. It is important to me to make sure they are well taken care of. It is rewarding for me to become acquainted with them like they are my own. I like to play with them and spend as much time with them as needed.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, and have worked with up to 50+ dogs at a time. I am practiced in medications, feedings, potty needs, and many other accommodations. I will work my schedules around weekend pet care. I am willing to contribute my time to the needs of any possible clients and their pets. I will listen to every single one of my clients needs, and I will ensure above average treatment of animals. I am more than comfortable in pet environments, and am very detail-oriented.

I would love to help anyone who may need assistance with walking/checking on their dog(s). At home my family has a fenced in yard, but we don’t like to let our dogs roam without super vision.
