“I'm so glad Michael was my first sitter for my kitty Luna! He was very easy to coordinate with for the meet & greet and key pick-up. Each day I got a message with a picture to show that Luna was OK - she even came out to meet him! Thank you, Michael!!”

“Samantha is always SO sweet and caring to Cinnamon and sends plenty of pictures. I so appreciate her working with us for this last minute trip! Will definitely keep having her back as long as she is available.”

“Hunter consistently shows up when scheduled. She is good about letting me know if changes are needed to the schedule due to other commitments, which happens infrequently. She is open to communication and has formed a tangible bond with Mr. Percy the cat. Always feel at ease about leaving him in her care. Just my take on it, but Hunter genuinely cares for the animals she looks after. You'd be lucky to have her care for your pets!”

About: Hello my name is Fern and I’m the critter sitter! My schedule is pretty flexible I’m in Salem, Va Fridays through sundays every week. I’ve been owing/caring for my own animals and others’ for 11 years. Dogs of all sizes and breeds, cats, exotics, fish and horses specifically. I’m quite experienced administering oral, topical and insulin type medications. I raised and trained my own service dog (in pictures - the brown muttley girl<3) so I have a lot of animal psychology, animal training and one year of veterinary experience and education. I will never give unwarranted advice if it is not asked for; that’s professional respect. But if you ask me I might have some tips or could help figure out w/e :). My world outside my M-Thursday inventory job pretty much revolves around caring for my partner’s doggy and having adventures with him so I figured I’ve missed working w animals in that capacity a lot so why not get back into it when I’ll just be bored otherwise :) Since Mason (Boxer smooshy face brindle in pics) is reactive, my residence is not an option currently for anything. I’m happy to travel 9 miles outside of east Salem for anybody. I follow verbal or written instructions and medication/walk/playtime schedules to the T. I send daily pictures multiple times a day for parent reassurance because that’s important to me.
“Jade was amazing and followed our instructions carefully! We received the most adorable pictures of our fur baby while we were away, giving us peace of mind. We will definitely be booking with Jade in the future!”

About: Not only have I grown up with cats and dogs, I’ve also been responsible for the care of my friends’ and neighbors’ pets on multiple occasions. From playing with little kittens to helping a senior pet with medications, I’m ready for anything and can’t wait to love on your pet! I am working between 35-40 hours a week, but my schedule is ever changing. I am typically available mornings and evenings and on weekends. I can make one home visit in the afternoon if necessary. I try to be as flexible as possible! If you have cats, I’ll be sure to give them the attention they ask for! Whether that be cuddling, playing, or sleeping. I will never invade the space of a cat if they are apprehensive or shy. If you have dogs, I’m ready to play a rough game of tug of war, walk around, or snuggle up on the couch (if permitted). And if you have both, that’s great—I’m ready to support them!
“Lejuana always does a wonderful job with our kitties. She gives a lot of TLC and also has to give meds which is quite the feat! I always feel secure going out of town when she keeps my kitties. I know they are in good hands!”

“Cate was punctual and met our expectations. While it was sad to leave our kitties for a week, Cate made us feel at home with them by daily updates, ensuring they are in good hands. We definitely will rehire her in the future”

“Rebecca did a fabulous job with our Leo. She even added on taking car of the stray kitty and our neighbor’s free range chickens. Very responsive and very caring. We highly recommend. We will be repeat customers!”

“Excellent! Ashley was great! She watched my two cats while I was away. I had warned her that one of my cats would most likely try to escape because my cats are indoor/outdoor when I'm home but while I'm gone I keep them inside. She didn't mind having to be extra vigil with them. She said the cat did try to escape during one of her visits but that she was able to stop him since I gave her the heads up. She followed all my instructions and provided pictures. I was nervous about using Rover and she put my mind to rest! She did great! I will definitely use her again!”
