About: I've been around cats and dogs of various sizes and personalities since I was very young. I have pet- and house-sat for friends and family for many years now, and it is a genuine joy to spoil their pets rotten. I have owned and pet-sat senior dogs and cats many times, and I have a decent amount of experience with oral medication. I get along great with pets of all kinds of temperaments—shy, excited, grumpy, calm, anxious—and I am not afraid to sit for pets with "difficult" temperaments, just let me know beforehand. I am an at-home writer and content creator, so I have flexible hours and can work from anywhere with an internet connection. I am my own boss, so I can easily cater to your schedule. As a proud introvert and work-from-home writer, I would spend the majority of my time with your pets at your home in a quiet, calm environment. About: I have experience taking care of both small and large dogs, including dogs with specialized medication schedules. I have taken care of cats and dogs my whole life and I love all animals :) I hope to provide any extra help needed and am happy to show your animals love. I work full-time, but I am able to visit animals during my lunch breaks or after I’m off of work usually around 4 or 5 pm. Depending on the environment provided, I am confident in my ability to walk a dog of any size or just allow them to play in the comfort of their own backyard. Every dog is different and I am able to adjust however they are needing me to.

About: In addition to caring for my own dog and cat, I've also helped with my neighbor's dog, and my sister's dogs. I've got a fully fenced in back yard that's almost a full acre. And my german shepherd is incredibly sweet and gentle around other animals. I keep my weekends free so I can hang out with your pet! With school out my 15 year old daughter is home too and is eager to help love on some new pooches. My mother is also home most of the time working, and we are used to loud dog barks! In my home I have a German shepherd upstairs full time and a pit bull mix downstairs in the afternoon. Both are sweet and energetic and love new dogs! My cat does better with people, but she knows how to stay out of dodge when its needed. We do crate our dog when we leave the house but she free roams at night, alternating between the bed and the floor and the couch as she pleases. I would require your dog to be crate trained in case I need to leave the house during a boarding session. In your home, your rule is law. Whether its feeding your cat a carefully measured amount of wet food or keeping the litter box filled exactly half way, your standards are mine and I'm happy to go the extra mile. Likewise for a doggy drop-in to walk and feed. I always pick up after my pet on a walk so your neighbors have nothing to fear from me. And I'm used to reigning in a 90lb German shepherd who wants to make friends with every neighborhood stray cat so you can rest assured that I can keep hold of your dog on a walk.

I have trained two of my own dogs from puppies, and am very patient with all animals. I am a full time student at James Madison University, so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry friends on weekdays and weekends when not in school! I have a flexible schedule at school and am more than able to drop in for quick potty breaks during the school day as well. If there is not fenced in yard, I keep dogs on a leash at all times to ensure safety. I never allow pets to be near human food unless authorized due to allergies and special accommodations.
