“Sam is such a gem! She took great care of my senior kitty, who needs a bit of extra care due to his diabetes. Sam was very attentive to his needs, shared detailed photos, and responded quickly to all my messages. I would highly recommend her for your pet care needs and I plan on booking with her again!”

“Megan is reliable, punctual and very attentive. She gave personalized, loving care to my cats while I was away. I felt confident in their safety and the attention they were receiving. I will definitely hire her again!”

“Mackenzie was awesome! She took lots of pictures of my cat —even several of the cat sitting in her lap! Mittens was happy when I got home and her litter box was clean. Thank you Mackenzie!!”

“Haley was responsive and fulfilled every agreement and promise she made to us regarding care of our two cats and two rabbits and our home. It was our first time using Haley. She went above and beyond in providing care promised. We will definitely call on her again when we need to travel out of town.”
About: I’ve pet sit since I was in high school, and have 2 cats of my own and have been dog sitting friends and family dogs because I love dogs as well! I can care for small or large dogs or anything in between, and am especially good with anxious dogs or ones with high energy. I am in graduate school, so I am generally free evenings and weekends. I may be able to do lunch breaks during the week but depends on the situation! I can provide care in whatever way your pets are used to- if they have a specific schedule or ways they like to play, I am happy to adjust to your pets needs!
“This is our second time having Emily as our petsitter and, once again, she was AMAZING! She so conscientiously cared for our cats’ different dietary and medical needs and reported back to us clearly and consistently each day. So grateful to her!!”

“This is our second time having Rebecca take care of Lucy. We love all the attention she gives and the pictures she takes. We are so very lucky to have her offer this service. Rebecca is fabulous and we HIGHLY recommend her. We will absolutely be using her again in the near future.”

“Carol was awesome. Responsive, responsible and kind. I didn't think I'd care about receiving pictures of my dumb cats in my absence, but they actually always made me smile. Thanks Carol!”
“Cal was so great! He reported in and left notes and pictures every day on the dog, cat, chickens, lizard, rabbit, and Guinea pig. In addition, he went over and above helping us water the plants and bring in the mail. A+ customer service. Thank you, Cal! We are excited to have someone trustworthy and reliable that we can count on all summer.”

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover who finds true joy in caring for animals and keeping them happy, healthy, and loved - especially while their family is away. Whether it’s a peaceful walk around the neighborhood (and all the sniffs!) or a quick drop in visit, your pet will be in caring and capable hands. I’ve always had a nurturing nature and have 2 dogs of my own. I’m dependable, detail-oriented and committed to ensuring your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away on vacation or just at work! I’d love to help 🫶🏼 I work remotely for a flexible IT startup and certainly have the availability for walks and drop-ins at any time of the day. Weekends are flexible as well. Your pets well-being is my top priority. I will get to learn their personality and quirks, what makes them happy, and ensure I can make them feel secure and content. For walks, I will always like to have a harness, let them go at their pace, and of course enjoys themselves! During drop-ins visits, I will follow your instructions carefully (feeding, medications, potty breaks, etc.) and always be mindful that your home stays secure - locking doors, cleaning up messes, etc. I will also send regular text updates and Photos so you know how your pet is doing! Building trust with both pets and their family is important to me, and I will treat your pup and home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.
About: In addition to caring for my own dog and cat, I've also helped with my neighbor's dog, and my sister's dogs. I've got a fully fenced in back yard that's almost a full acre. And my german shepherd is incredibly sweet and gentle around other animals. I keep my weekends free so I can hang out with your pet! With school out my 15 year old daughter is home too and is eager to help love on some new pooches. My mother is also home most of the time working, and we are used to loud dog barks! In my home I have a German shepherd upstairs full time and a pit bull mix downstairs in the afternoon. Both are sweet and energetic and love new dogs! My cat does better with people, but she knows how to stay out of dodge when its needed. We do crate our dog when we leave the house but she free roams at night, alternating between the bed and the floor and the couch as she pleases. I would require your dog to be crate trained in case I need to leave the house during a boarding session. In your home, your rule is law. Whether its feeding your cat a carefully measured amount of wet food or keeping the litter box filled exactly half way, your standards are mine and I'm happy to go the extra mile. Likewise for a doggy drop-in to walk and feed. I always pick up after my pet on a walk so your neighbors have nothing to fear from me. And I'm used to reigning in a 90lb German shepherd who wants to make friends with every neighborhood stray cat so you can rest assured that I can keep hold of your dog on a walk.
Cave Spring cat parents share their Rover experiences
Samantha was available with same day notice!! Super grateful she accepted!! My cats both came out to meet her on the first day, (says a lot), and I received pics showing they were happy and cared for. My mom had a chance to meet her, and said she really likes Samantha, and would also like to request her for their dogs!! Excellent peace of mind while stuck out of town!!
