Hello! I am an animal loving therapist (for humans!) new to the area and excited to offer pet care services in Roanoke. I love all animals and have extensive experience with cats in particular. We had a houseful of animals growing up, and I’ve lived with many different dogs over the years, from pit bulls to yorky-poos. I work from home and offer drop-ins, house sitting, and dog walking. I love getting to know different kitties & pups and learning how to help them feel safe, loved, and relaxed while their humans are away, and sending their humans pics & updates on how their fur babies are doing! I’m coming from Durham, NC where I offered house sitting and pet sitting services; I’m happy to provide those references upon request.

I love to talk to the animals I’m looking after, and when they’re into it, sing and play my guitar. My kitty Zahra will sit with me for hours while I play and it chills her out :) But I’m also happy to keep quiet for those pets who prefer to steep in silence!

Emily is great! She was incredibly thoughtful and detailed, from our first meeting to her check-ins with our cat, Pierogi. Each visit got a detailed report, lots of photos, and she even brought our mail in for us! She was also very communicative and quick to respond to any messages. We’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for petsitting!

I am a telehealth therapist and work entirely from home 4 days per week. I intentionally keep spacious mornings and long midday breaks for both self-care and pet care!
