About: In addition to caring for my own dog and cat, I've also helped with my neighbor's dog, and my sister's dogs. I've got a fully fenced in back yard that's almost a full acre. And my german shepherd is incredibly sweet and gentle around other animals. I keep my weekends free so I can hang out with your pet! With school out my 15 year old daughter is home too and is eager to help love on some new pooches. My mother is also home most of the time working, and we are used to loud dog barks! In my home I have a German shepherd upstairs full time and a pit bull mix downstairs in the afternoon. Both are sweet and energetic and love new dogs! My cat does better with people, but she knows how to stay out of dodge when its needed. We do crate our dog when we leave the house but she free roams at night, alternating between the bed and the floor and the couch as she pleases. I would require your dog to be crate trained in case I need to leave the house during a boarding session. In your home, your rule is law. Whether its feeding your cat a carefully measured amount of wet food or keeping the litter box filled exactly half way, your standards are mine and I'm happy to go the extra mile. Likewise for a doggy drop-in to walk and feed. I always pick up after my pet on a walk so your neighbors have nothing to fear from me. And I'm used to reigning in a 90lb German shepherd who wants to make friends with every neighborhood stray cat so you can rest assured that I can keep hold of your dog on a walk.

About: Although I have experience caring for all kinds of animals, I have a soft spot for cats—I'm definitely a cat person at heart. I’m comfortable with cats of all temperaments, from shy or semi-feral personalities to lap cats who love constant attention. I genuinely enjoy earning a cat’s trust and adapting to their unique ways of communicating comfort and boundaries. I have hands-on experience administering medications, both oral and topical. One of my senior cats was on a cancer care regimen that included daily, precisely measured medications and eye drops, which I handled with care and consistency. I also cared for a cat with hypothyroidism who needed daily medication. I know how to keep things calm, gentle, and low-stress for cats who may be less than thrilled about taking meds. In addition, I’m attentive to keeping litter boxes clean, maintaining feeding routines, and giving cats the space they need to feel safe and secure in their own environment. I’m happy to walk, bathe, and give medications if needed. I can clean litter boxes and clean up animal waste. I’m also happy to do a meet-and-greet to see if I am the best fit for your family. Unfortunately, my own dogs are not animal friendly, so I am unable to board your pet with me, but I am perfectly able to come to you!
