I’ve trained two dogs on invisible fence systems myself, so I understand structure, patience, and what it takes to keep a dog safe, happy, and well-behaved. Your dog isn’t just a booking to me. I’m a college student home for the summer with a wide open schedule, meaning flexible drop-ins, and last-minute bookings are no problem. Your dog gets my full attention, not just a quick check-in between a packed day. Every dog that I meet gets treated like family. I’m attentive, patient, and consistent. I respect each dog’s routine, personality, and boundaries, and I make sure their environment feels safe and comfortable whether we’re at my place or yours.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm surrounded by all sorts of creatures, and that early love has stayed with me. While I’m new to Roanoke, I previously supported the DC/NOVA area through Wag! for several years and am now looking forward to building connections with pet families here in my community. About: I've had pets my whole life and love taking care of dogs and cats. I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior dogs, and caring for special needs animals (injuries, long term illness, administering medication). I'm currently taking classes from home, which leaves me with a very flexible schedule for checking on your pets! Available mornings, afternoons and evenings all week. I treat every pet like they are my own! Aside from my own cats and dogs, I've cared for numerous foster animals through RCACP gaining valuable experience over the years.

About: I’ve been around all types of animals ever since I was born- ranging from small dogs, large dogs, cats, reptiles, and avians! I enjoy taking care of fur-babies of different species. Working in veterinary medicine for 5 years and on-going has taught me a lot about taking more in-depth care of our fur-babies. From medicating with pills to injections or even handling them on case to case basis. I currently work full-time as a veterinary assistant from 7-5 and I am willing to work with schedules if need be! I’m available almost every weekend and have Thursday as a day off. My schedule is flexible and very open! I’m comfortable with leash walking, fenced in back-yards, and crating. Feeding on a schedule and making sure that they will get the potty breaks and exercise they need!

About: I have experience sitting dogs and cats ages 6 months - 16 years, including overnight house sitting, walking and playing, and regular feedings! I have trained two of my own dogs from puppies, and am very patient with all animals. I am a full time student at James Madison University, so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry friends on weekdays and weekends when not in school! I have a flexible schedule at school and am more than able to drop in for quick potty breaks during the school day as well. If there is not fenced in yard, I keep dogs on a leash at all times to ensure safety. I never allow pets to be near human food unless authorized due to allergies and special accommodations. I spend lots of time giving your pets attention, love , and care while their best friends are away!

Hoss has been a handful while we help him deal with his separation anxiety and being home alone for the first time, and Ashlynn couldn't have been more helpful. She was very communicative, and let me know how Hoss was handling his transitions. After one day of Hoss being a bit tentative, he warmed right up to Ashlynn, and I'm excited to make use of her services going forward. Highly recommended!”

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. This beginning with family members or neighbors, and eventually turning into one of my favorite hobbies, voulenteering for local animal shelters. I have experience with large dogs and small dogs, and with my time spent volunteering and also with my families own rescue animals, I believe I am a great fit for any dog. My family has a hard time leaving home to travel due to our rescues being not only very bonded to their owner, but perculiar on who they will spend time with. I hope to provide all families a sense of reassurance when needing any extra help! I graduated College in May '25 and am now in the waiting period of hearing back from Law Schools. My schedule is completely open all hours and all days of the week. Depending on the environment provided, I am confident in my ability to walk a dog of any size or just allow them to play in the comfort of their own backyard. Every dog is different and I am able to adjust however they are needing me to.
