About: There have also been pets in my house and I have also made myself available to pet sit for friends and family. I am flexible in when and how to care for your smallest or largest family member. I am a runner so I would love to have a buddy join me on a run, jog, or even a walk. I can care for your pup at my house or your house which ever one you would be comfortable with. At the moment I can be open anytime of the week, and visiting houses multiple times in the day to ensure that your furry friend feelings loved and cared for throughout the day. Whether that's a potty break, a snack, or a big ole tummy rub. I’m a teacher on summer break though I do have a part time evening job that starts at 430 my husband comes home at 4 and probably loves dogs even more than me. I have a large fenced backyard and plenty of room in my house for exploring. We do have a small rescue Chihuahua, but she is friendly and very kind.

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. This beginning with family members or neighbors, and eventually turning into one of my favorite hobbies, voulenteering for local animal shelters. I have experience with large dogs and small dogs, and with my time spent volunteering and also with my families own rescue animals, I believe I am a great fit for any dog. My family has a hard time leaving home to travel due to our rescues being not only very bonded to their owner, but perculiar on who they will spend time with. I hope to provide all families a sense of reassurance when needing any extra help! I graduated College in May '25 and am now in the waiting period of hearing back from Law Schools. My schedule is completely open all hours and all days of the week. Depending on the environment provided, I am confident in my ability to walk a dog of any size or just allow them to play in the comfort of their own backyard. Every dog is different and I am able to adjust however they are needing me to.

About: I’ve been around all types of animals ever since I was born- ranging from small dogs, large dogs, cats, reptiles, and avians! I enjoy taking care of fur-babies of different species. Working in veterinary medicine for 5 years and on-going has taught me a lot about taking more in-depth care of our fur-babies. From medicating with pills to injections or even handling them on case to case basis. I currently work full-time as a veterinary assistant from 7-5 and I am willing to work with schedules if need be! I’m available almost every weekend and have Thursday as a day off. My schedule is flexible and very open! I’m comfortable with leash walking, fenced in back-yards, and crating. Feeding on a schedule and making sure that they will get the potty breaks and exercise they need!

About: I have experience sitting dogs and cats ages 6 months - 16 years, including overnight house sitting, walking and playing, and regular feedings! I have trained two of my own dogs from puppies, and am very patient with all animals. I am a full time student at James Madison University, so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry friends on weekdays and weekends when not in school! I have a flexible schedule at school and am more than able to drop in for quick potty breaks during the school day as well. If there is not fenced in yard, I keep dogs on a leash at all times to ensure safety. I never allow pets to be near human food unless authorized due to allergies and special accommodations. I spend lots of time giving your pets attention, love , and care while their best friends are away!

About: I began volunteering at my local animal shelter at the age of 9 and have been caring for animals ever since. I have 20 years experience pet sitting for neighbors and I have my own 6 year old pitbull, Cleo, so I’m no stranger to energetic dogs. I’m a teacher, so my summers give me full flexibility to care for your animals! I love to walk dogs on local greenways and trails. I have a fenced in backyard where your dog can play. If they like to play with a buddy, my dog will be their best friend!

About: Because the work was too ruff!! I love all types of pets, and truly enjoy their company. I have over 10yrs experience working w/pets. Comfortable with all sizes/breeds. I will treat your babies as my own! I am a college student at Radford University and I’m home for the summer, looking to make some extra money! I have 2 dogs and a cat of my own, and I will treat your animals just as they are my own!!! I will follow all your instructions provided and provide the best overall care. I’m happy to walk, bathe, and give medications if needed. I can clean litter boxes and clean up animal waste. I’m also happy to do a meet-and-greet to see if I am the best fit for your family. Unfortunately, my own dogs are not animal friendly, so I am unable to board your pet with me, but I am perfectly able to come to you!

But Zoe never complained and always hung around with the baby for a few minutes of love and play after the walk. About: I’ve taken care of my own dog and watched my neighbors dog, making sure they are well fed, get enough time outside and feel loved while their families are away! I’m currently doing odd jobs over the summer and because of this, I am able to spend a lot of time with your pets! I will be out of the house periodically but will not be out longer than 3-4 hours at a time. I keep a clean and pet-friendly environment at home with plenty of space to relax and a backyard to run around and enjoy time outside. My family will also love spending time with your pet and giving them lots of attention!

Hoss has been a handful while we help him deal with his separation anxiety and being home alone for the first time, and Ashlynn couldn't have been more helpful. About: Hello! I am a farm girl who grew up with dogs , cats , horses, cows and sheep. Over the past twenty five years I have adopted four rescue dogs taking dogs who were older and harder to adopt. If I could I would give every rescue animal a home. I have had success working with animals who others find daunting. I am skilled in basic obedience training and click training. I love puppies and elderly dogs equally. I am currently taking classes to start a new career and my schedule is very flexible. I can pet sit 7 days a week and will do my best to accommodate your scheduling needs I can come to your home and feed, walk, play or sit with your pet. About: I’ve been taking care of my own dogs for 15+ years, along with a variety of exotic animals including birds, snakes, rats, fish and many more. I have been walking and feeding and watching dogs, cats, horses and farm animals for 10 years. I love animals, I always have and while I work full time, I self schedule and can be flexible. I don’t typically travel for holidays so I am around locally on most holidays, and can fit your beloved pet into my schedule so you can feel at ease while you are away from them. I can do whatever you need me to do in your house. I have lots of experience with puppies and elderly dogs (and those in between), cats and kittens, and lots of exotic animals. I am good at following directions and can accommodate whatever you need in your space. I also have lots of experience tiring out super energetic pups on long hikes or walks if you need! I work Monday-Wednesdays in Roanoke and my weekends are variable- I try to keep my calendar up to date. If I have events on the weekends (I’m a musician) they are typically local, and I will block out my calendar for tours. I have flexible scheduling during the day in Roanoke, and can work around your schedule even if you’re not in Roanoke. My work is accommodating and partially work from home. I like to provide my clients with updates on their pets while they are away with pictures and descriptions of anything out of the ordinary they may need to know about, and also just cute shenanigans your critters are up to each day.
