About: Hello! I am a farm girl who grew up with dogs , cats , horses, cows and sheep. Over the past twenty five years I have adopted four rescue dogs taking dogs who were older and harder to adopt. If I could I would give every rescue animal a home. I have had success working with animals who others find daunting. I am skilled in basic obedience training and click training. I love puppies and elderly dogs equally. I am currently taking classes to start a new career and my schedule is very flexible. I can pet sit 7 days a week and will do my best to accommodate your scheduling needs I can come to your home and feed, walk, play or sit with your pet. I will be very conscientious about security and cleanliness and will update you with msgs via text or email. I like to send pics of pets so you can see your best friend while you are away and have peace of mind that all is good on the home front

About: I have previously volunteered at a rescue for 10 years. I have fostered many animals for the rescue and kept some of those as well. I can handle almost anything. I've also had my fair share of special needs animals, so I'm comfortable handling pets whose needs are out of the ordinary. I've also worked with and owned most types of animals ranging from a few weeks old to 20+ years, so I can provide care to very young or very old animals. I just graduated college and am currently between jobs, so I am at home working on my fixer-upper apartment all day. My schedule is entirely flexible! I will be available almost all waking hours of the day. I can stop in on your schedule to provide care and walks, or just stay over to give the pets round the clock care. I will make sure that your pet stays happy and healthy while in my care!

Matt and I will be away from the home for about 6 hours each day for work Mondays-Thursdays. I work from home most Fridays. We provide the individualized care that is needed for your pet. We provide walks, companionship, play time, feeding and medication services, bathing for an additional price, etc. We have a fenced in yard, so your dogs can enjoy plenty of outside time. Our cats stay in a separate room during boarding stays so there will be no interaction between them.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats around me for most of my life, from growing-up on a farm in Maryland to working large animal husbandry at the Virginia Tech Veterinary School to sharing a 1-bedroom studio with two cats in Roanoke City, and I’ve always loved all animals. All! Right now, I have one dog and three cats of my own, and they are very much part of my family. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats with different personalities and needs. I enjoy walks, playtime, and just hanging out with them and giving them attention. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets when you’re away, and I’ll care for yours just like I care for my own. I’m currently in the process of my Pet-CPR/First Aid certification. I’m working a flexible schedule (as a Referee). When I’m at work, Nalini (my wife), will be there at home with your pet. So, your pet would never be there alone day or night. The most respect, care, compassion, and hugs!! There’s separate pet living spaces in my house for accommodating your pets needs, and we have a friendly and vaccinated dog.

About: I love all animals! I have been pet-sitting since I was in elementary school. I currently have two tuxedo cats, one of which has to be given medicine twice a day, so I am comfortable with medication administration. I recently graduated from Physician Associate School and I am waiting for the credentialing process to be completed before starting my job! So i have plenty of time to take care of your animals! I care for every pet as if they were my own while also respecting each client’s home, routines, and instructions. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive any approved medications, get appropriate exercise and potty breaks, and have plenty of attention and companionship. I also keep their environment clean by tidying food areas, cleaning up accidents, and maintaining litter boxes or other pet spaces as needed.

I work 4 days a week as an RN but that means my daily availability fluctuates each week to help provide the best care for your pets. About: I have helped train and care for my own dogs since I was 8 years old. I have house sat, done drop in visits and walked dogs for neighbors and friends. Dogs always make me smile and I have done a lot of reading/research on how to train/care for your dog. I am a student so there is a lot of time in my day to care for dogs. I usually have a lot of time in the afternoon and the evening to feed them or walk them. I love to play with dogs and walk them. I am very active so I can do long walks with the dogs or just play some fetch. All dogs are different and need different types of attention and love.

Unfortunately, my own dogs are not animal friendly, so I am unable to board your pet with me, but I am perfectly able to come to you!

About: Hi! My name is Marissa and I am an animal lover, pet mom, and full-time teacher. I am looking for some additional income and would love to help take care of your fur baby while you are away on vacation or at work. While I do not have a lot of experience pet sitting, I have had pets my entire life and am currently a pet mom to my cat, Malachi. I am always the one that my friends/family go to if they need a pet sitter or help with their pets. I have a flexible schedule and would have plenty of time to spend time with and get to know your wonderful pet. I can't wait to hear from you and get to know your special fur baby/babies! I am currently a full time teacher, meaning I am able to care for your animal early mornings and I am off early afternoon so your pet will not have to wait until evening for care! I also have most common break/vacation times (thanksgiving, Christmas, summer, long weekends) off and have a more flexible schedule during those times. I will care for your pet as if it were my own! I make sure your pet is fed and taken care of, but I would also love to spend time with your pet so they are not lonely while you are away.
