About: We are a homeschooling family of five. After losing our first dog last year, we finally adopted again. Our pup is very social and although she has plenty of attention at home, she would love to have fur friends to play with. We are available most days of the week and are out of the house not more than 1-2 hours at a time. We have three children between the ages of five and eleven who all love dogs and are very gentle with them. We’d love to play, walk, or just hang out. Whether we’re playing or schooling, your pup will have company. We understand that your pets are family members and we’ll treat them as such at our house. We look forward to the opportunity to meet and spend quality time with your fur babies.

About: I have experience caring for both elderly and young dogs. This has equipped me with a variety of skills such as age-appropriate exercise, nutritional needs, and understanding certain behaviors and how to react. I just recently graduated high-school and need something to fill my time. Playing with your pups seems to be the best thing to fill my day! I’m free majority of the week and only work part-time as a waitress. I have a cat and dog at my house but both a friendly to other animals. If needed the animals can be put in a separate room away from clients pet.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of family dogs and cats, and now have two 6 year old cats of my own! Additionally, I’ve volunteered at the RVSPCA with the cats weekly for the past two and a half years. I work Tuesdays through Fridays but am available late evenings every night and all day on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays to take care of all your pet needs! I like to treat every pet like they are my own, and will always do everything in my power to make sure that they remain safe and feel like they are in a safe environment while you are away.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats ranging in ages my entire life. I would love to treat your pets like my own. I have experience with separation anxiety in dogs, mischievous chewers, puppy training, and severe food allergies. I am confident in giving medicines to your fur babies as my own often find themselves taking medications. I also know how important maintaining your pups daily routine can be while you are gone. I am a teacher on summer break, therefore I am available all day to work with your pet babies! Would love to hang out with your pet on the greenway or just in the yard and fill my days with some puppy smiles. I currently have two dogs of my own Biscuit and Rusty with very unique needs. Rusty has been my companion for the last 9 years. He’s been through many moves and adjustments with me. Currently Rusty is beginning to show signs of arthritis so we are adjusting our care to best fit our little old man. More recently, my husband and I adopted a 1 1/2 year old Pit Bull named Biscuit. Biscuit has allowed me to gain experience caring for a dog with extreme allergies. She is the most playful of the two and is always keeping us laughing. I have experience giving daily medicine as well as dealing with an upset doggy stomach. We love our two fur babies and treat them as part of our family and I will extend this love and care to your fur babes too!

“Chester came back, happy and tired, which that’s what my goal was. I did think that this was a dog walk for an hour but it seems that it was just him playing out in the yard so definitely not what I thought I had paid for. However, whatever was done did work. So no offense I’m gonna see if I can find somebody who will walk him and see if it has even better results. I will keep you in mind if I need a long-term sitter like for a day or two days or a week. I’m not sure if you do that or not but Might work out for me.”

About: I’ve been taking care of my own dogs for 15+ years, along with a variety of exotic animals including birds, snakes, rats, fish and many more. I have been walking and feeding and watching dogs, cats, horses and farm animals for 10 years. I love animals, I always have and while I work full time, I self schedule and can be flexible. I don’t typically travel for holidays so I am around locally on most holidays, and can fit your beloved pet into my schedule so you can feel at ease while you are away from them. I can do whatever you need me to do in your house. I have lots of experience with puppies and elderly dogs (and those in between), cats and kittens, and lots of exotic animals. I am good at following directions and can accommodate whatever you need in your space. I also have lots of experience tiring out super energetic pups on long hikes or walks if you need! I love the outdoors and having dogs with me just makes it better! I look forward to meeting you and your precious pets! I work Monday-Wednesdays in Roanoke and my weekends are variable- I try to keep my calendar up to date. If I have events on the weekends (I’m a musician) they are typically local, and I will block out my calendar for tours. I have flexible scheduling during the day in Roanoke, and can work around your schedule even if you’re not in Roanoke. My work is accommodating and partially work from home. I like to provide my clients with updates on their pets while they are away with pictures and descriptions of anything out of the ordinary they may need to know about, and also just cute shenanigans your critters are up to each day. Whether I am spending the night, or stopping by your home, I will treat your space and pets with respect and do my very best to communicate openly with you!

About: I’ve always loved animals. I currently have 3 cats and 1 dog. I’m a sucker for helping out special needs animals as well. 2 of my cats are special needs and one of my dogs is as well. I’ve fostered and rescued many (sick and well) animals in the past 8 years. I also have experience with animals (specially dogs) who have epilepsy and neurological issues. I currently work part time so I spend most of my day just hanging with my own animals at home. I have plenty of time during the day for in home visits, walks and feedings during the weekdays (some weekends available as well) I live in a single family house with a nice sized backyard. It isn’t fully fenced in so I take my dog out in a leash for potty break. We go on lots of walks in the neighborhood since it’s a quiet walkable neighborhood

About: I have cared for dogs my entire life, from my own pets, to taking care of friends and family’s pets. I have assisted in training exercises and am well versed in counting and reinforcing trained behavior. I have 5 years of experience with doggie day care and basic grooming services. I am available on weekdays and weekends for walking, pet sitting, or general pet care needs. I am a full time artist, so my schedule is relatively flexible. I care for my clients pets just as if they were my own, by providing focused care, attention, and love to all pets in my care.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, and have worked with up to 50+ dogs at a time. I am practiced in medications, feedings, potty needs, and many other accommodations. I will work my schedules around weekend pet care. I am willing to contribute my time to the needs of any possible clients and their pets.
