About: I have been raised to care for pets. My entire life my family has had Labs, and I have grown to love them so very much. I also have experience with Cats, Ferrets, and now I have my own Bunny! I am on summer break from Roanoke College so I am free anytime to care for furry friends! Whatever their needs are, I am there! In my house, each of my pets have their own litter boxes, water/food bowls, and my bunny has her own room. I devote hours each day to provide enrichment to each of my pets. I would do the same with my clients pets!

About: I’ve been around all types of animals ever since I was born- ranging from small dogs, large dogs, cats, reptiles, and avians! I enjoy taking care of fur-babies of different species. Working in veterinary medicine for 5 years and on-going has taught me a lot about taking more in-depth care of our fur-babies. From medicating with pills to injections or even handling them on case to case basis. I currently work full-time as a veterinary assistant from 7-5 and I am willing to work with schedules if need be! I’m available almost every weekend and have Thursday as a day off. My schedule is flexible and very open! I’m comfortable with leash walking, fenced in back-yards, and crating. Feeding on a schedule and making sure that they will get the potty breaks and exercise they need!

My partner and I have a sweet labradoodle named Bliss and and a plump elderly cat named Elvira. We have rescued and cared for dogs and 4 plus cats together. I have a huge heart for elderly cats/dogs and those that are shy of personality. Let me know if your animal takes time to warm up! I am patient, compassionate and a natural caretaker at heart. Alternatively, I love the playful and outgoing ones too! I have experience in administering medications also, especially with Elderly or finicky cats as I have cared for many of my own. My schedule is open and flexible at this time. My lifestyle has allowed for me to maintain a pretty open schedule and take work as needed. I also work part time nannying positions, but this should not interfere with scheduling. I will be traveling to your location to care for your animals.
