Selena is a champ! Arya doesn’t do a lot of people, but Selena got her on the first meet and on their first walk! We will definitely be using her again!

About: I have cared for dogs my entire life, from my own pets, to taking care of friends and family’s pets. I have assisted in training exercises and am well versed in counting and reinforcing trained behavior. I have 5 years of experience with doggie day care and basic grooming services. I am available on weekdays and weekends for walking, pet sitting, or general pet care needs. I am a full time artist, so my schedule is relatively flexible. Natasha was very kind and a wonderful walker. She took great care of my dog and was more than willing to continue doing walks with minimal notice to help me out. Natasha was always on time and always left me a review on how the walk went!

About: Hi, I'm Michelle ~ Experienced nanny, sitter and animal lover! Two decades plus experience caring for families and animals. Experienced in dog walking, schedules, animal feedings and house sitting. A lil background about me ~ I am a retired elementary teacher switching careers into Counseling/Therapy, starting school this Fall 2026. My partner and I have a sweet labradoodle named Bliss and and a plump elderly cat named Elvira. We have rescued and cared for dogs and 4 plus cats together. I have a huge heart for elderly cats/dogs and those that are shy of personality. Let me know if your animal takes time to warm up! I am patient, compassionate and a natural caretaker at heart. Alternatively, I love the playful and outgoing ones too! I have experience in administering medications also, especially with Elderly or finicky cats as I have cared for many of my own. My schedule is open and flexible at this time. My lifestyle has allowed for me to maintain a pretty open schedule and take work as needed. I also work part time nannying positions, but this should not interfere with scheduling. I will be traveling to your location to care for your animals. Services include: cat sitting, dog sitting, drop ins, dog walking, house sitting and administering medications if needed. Let me know if there is anything else I can do.

About: I am a new sitter on Rover, but don’t let that put you off. :) My family has never known a time where we didn’t have pets! When I was five years old, my parents entrusted to me a sweet black kitty for whom I was solely responsible for. Not only did this experience affirm my love for animals, but it also jumpstarted me into a world of responsibility! Since then, we have rescued dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes, happily welcoming “bully” breeds and giving them all the love and care they deserve! I’ve cared for elderly dogs and cats with and without disabilities, as well as those who need certain medications or injections. Further, big breeds do not intimidate me- I love them! Perhaps most importantly, I will love and care for your pet as if it were my own! ❤️ I am currently a graduate student at Virginia Tech, and as such, my weekdays are fairly busy until the evenings. If you need overnight care on the weekdays, let me know and we can work something out! I typically have a couple meetings in the mornings that I can conduct on zoom, but I do have in person class from 2-5 that I will need to leave your home for. Fridays and weekends, however, are wide open! I have two sweet, playful cats currently and live in an apartment, so it is likely that care will be provided in your house! I often find this is better anyway, as your pet is already comfortable in their home and less likely to feel stress with change.

About: Hello! My name is Hayley and I am an animal lover of all kinds. I had a chihuahua for 14.5 years until I had to say goodbye to him in august of 2024. Since then I have found joy in helping others take care of their furry family members. My Pedro was special needs so I am comfortable giving meds or helping with disabled animals as well. I promise to take care of your babies just like they are my own! Same day bookings and short notice bookings will be dependent on my full time work schedule as I work 3 twelve hour night shifts a week but please always reach out as I may be available! I am also willing to pet sitting for other animals like chickens, hedgehogs, etc. Just ask!! I am a full time night shift nurse so my schedule is crazy but allows me to spend the days with your pet. I am also able to get several days in a row off and spend 24/7 with your pet, if scheduled within enough time! If selected, I would treat your baby as if they are my own and would go above abd beyond in caring for them. I am unable to bring pets to my home but am more than happy to care for them in the comfort of their own homes.

About: I’ve always had pets from dogs, cats, goats, hamsters, and ducks. I love all animals & believe they all deserve kindness & compassion. I love caring for my pets & spending time with them. They are more then just pets to me, they are my family and I am so grateful to have them in my life. I promise to care for your pets as I would my own; with patience, kindness, and respect. ❤️ I am currently working part-time (25 hours) so I can usually adjust my schedule to your needs. I am available to stay over night or visit multiple times a day. My home is an apartment. I keep a very clean environment as I highly value a clean living space. I have my own cats, two sweet spayed females. They along well with other pets but Nyx will usually tend to hide away from most visitors human or animal. Kaya, however, loves new friend rather that’s a cat or a dog. I frequently clean up after my pet daily, and keep two bowls of water I refresh for her daily. I keep a safe environment for my pet and I will treat your pet with the same great care.

About: I have been taking care of my pets since I was around 10. I have 2 cats and a dog of my own. I foster dogs with my mother, which we have been doing for 3 years and have placed many dogs in wonderful homes. I really enjoy walking dogs and taking them on hikes for whatever exercise they need to get out. I watch a bunch of family friends pets and some people who live nearby to me, so I do have experience with that as well. I’m currently in college, but am home for the summer. I do not have much going on so I am feel all the time basically. I would be able to be very flexible for whatever you pet needs. I have my own dog who loves to play with other dogs if they are comfortable otherwise she has a crate. If your pet is crated I have extra crates if needed and I keep a timely feeding with my dog between 6-7am and 5-6pm. There is always water out. I do have some cats in the home where I reside.

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals such as dogs, cats, birds, etc. I’m willing to take care of any types of pets! When I go home from school I have three cats and two dogs. I’ve watched my neighbors, friends, and family’s pets for a couple hours to a couple of days. I’m a full time student at Virginia Tech, however all of my classes are in the morning, so my schedule is extremely flexible throughout the week. During the summer I’m mainly just working at a local vet clinic, so my schedule is still pretty flexible! I will always make it a priority to ask if there are any specific needs or instructions for the pet I am taking care of. I make sure that I give the animal I am watching extra attention, so they can feel as comfortable as possible with me, while their owner is away!

I’m currently a full time veterinary assistant at VMCVM ICU. I currently work an overnight schedule but am available during the day! I will be returning to vet school again in January after a short leave of absence I’m able to walk, feed, give medications, and play with your animals! I’m comfortable with all types of animals with a variety of health problems and temperaments. I currently work night shift so I’m available most times during the day! I also am free all weekends so I have plenty of time to spend time with your pets! I currently live in a house with a fenced in yard. About: I have had a family dog and a cat for 10+ years. I recently got my own dog the summer of 2021 and she has been with me at college in Virginia. As a college student with a dog I have learned many skills in taking care of my dog Lola! I am currently a junior at Roanoke College! Dog walking is something I’m happy to do and enjoy doing! I would love to help anyone who may need assistance with walking/checking on their dog(s). At home my family has a fenced in yard, but we don’t like to let our dogs roam without super vision. We sit outside with them while they roam around in the woods. I also love to take Lola out of structured walks in our local park.

Laiken has truly been wonderful for my dog and I. He is a puppy, and trying to learn a routine and schedule and she has gone above and beyond to help me. I work night shift and she helps make it work for me. I truly have found i can trust her in my home and with my dog. She updates me with everything she does with him. I will be continuing to have her hang out with my dog as long as she will be available to. I would recommend her to anyone.
