About: I am currently a student at Virginia Tech. I have been pet sitting and taking care of dogs for ten years and have loved each and every animal I have cared for as if they were my own. I have owned dogs and cats my whole life and have trained them myself as I got older. I have experience with puppies under the age of one and will play with them until they can’t play anymore. When I care for your pets, I promise to give them as much love and affection as they get when you are there (possibly even more). Your animals are my top priority when I am caring for them, and I will love them as much as you do until you can get back to them. I am able to care for your pets any time. I will be starting school in the fall, but that will not impact the way I love and care for your pets due to the way my class schedule is structured. I have a very friendly lab that loves to play with other dogs. I ensure that when I am in someone else’s home, I am supervising the dogs while I also make sure they are getting the exercise and enrichment required for their breed and temperament. Every dog needs different treatment, and I will adjust the way I care for them based on their own needs.

About: I have previously volunteered at a rescue for 10 years. I have fostered many animals for the rescue and kept some of those as well. I can handle almost anything. I've also had my fair share of special needs animals, so I'm comfortable handling pets whose needs are out of the ordinary. I've also worked with and owned most types of animals ranging from a few weeks old to 20+ years, so I can provide care to very young or very old animals. I just graduated college and am currently between jobs, so I am at home working on my fixer-upper apartment all day. My schedule is entirely flexible! I will be available almost all waking hours of the day. I can stop in on your schedule to provide care and walks, or just stay over to give the pets round the clock care. I will make sure that your pet stays happy and healthy while in my care!

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I recently graduated with my BSN in Animal Sciences, and have been working in the veterinary field since 2022. I am currently working as a full-time emergency veterinary assistant. I currently work full-time at an emergency veterinary hospital. I have plenty of time on my days off and after work to care for your pets! I would be very comfortable taking your furry friends for walks, crating them, or just hanging out! I have lifelong experience caring for animals - I grew up with five cats, two Guinea pigs, and four birds! I have experience caring for elderly and disabled animals, those with particular feeding schedules or allergies, and am comfortable administering medications for your pets as needed. About: My family adopted a 10 month old rescue pup, Charlie, when I was 7 years old. For the 12 years that I got to spend with him he was my best friend. Although he was stronger than me the first few years of his life, I was still involved in his training and feeding care until I was big enough to take him out and walk him. Once I could handle him, I took him out, walked him, and helped give baths. As an adult, I have done multiple pet-sitting jobs for neighbors and family friends. I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages. My job experience includes retail, landscaping, and food/bar service. Working late nights in downtown Blacksburg, I have become keen at cleaning up messes of all kinds. This summer, my schedule is wide open! I play pool a couple of nights a week, but that doesn't last for more than a few hours and I can always go late/leave early to get back to the pets. When the school year starts, I will schedule pet sitting around my class schedule. I am equipped to handle dogs of almost any size on a leash, and I love to play fetch in a yard/at the park. I can keep food and water bowls clean and full, I can crate dogs if needed, and I can keep a litter box clean!

About: I have 2 years of veterinary clinic experience. From boarding, medication management, to overall care. I have taken care of numerous kittens and puppies as well as seniors! About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, my family had some growing up and once I moved out I got 2 of my own. I’ve also watched many neighbors and friends dogs since i was young and feel more than comfortable taking them out, administering medicine, and loving on them! Fur babies are family and should be treated as such! And that’s exactly the kind of care I would show your fur baby. Dogs are creatures of habit, so it’s important for me to know what your routine looks like so I can try my best to keep it the same. It will be as if you’re not even gone! I work from home so my days are extremely flexible. Aside from occasional meetings and needing to administer my own dog his medication three times a day (6am, 2pm and 10pm) I have an open schedule to check in on your baby. If you were to bring your dog to me, they would be in a spacious little townhome with an open yard. All I ask is that your dog is friendly with other dogs, as I have 2 at home that would be there with us. One is a staffordshire terrier/husky mix, and the other is a border collie. They all would get plenty of walks and playtime together. If I were to drop in at your home, I would take whatever care necessary! What that looks like is up to you. Taking your dog on a walk, administering medicine, playing with them, whatever you and your pet need!

About: I’ve always been a huge lover of animals ever since I was little and have always had a passion for providing them the best care possible. I have nearly three years of Veterinary experience working as an assistant and am currently attending college to further my education in veterinary medicine. Over the years I’ve assisted with my mom’s petsitting business, volunteered and fostered with my local shelter and have taken various animal care based classes throughout my college career. I have experience with pets of nearly every temperament, age and special needs and have provided care for animals in various different circumstances through sickness and in health. I’ve lived in the Blacksburg area for almost a year now after accepting admission into Virginia Tech. Currently I’m working a part time job over the summer where I have been working early mornings starting at 5am and ending around 11am. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have nearly 7 years of dog sitting experience starting in middle school. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities and I pride myself on being extremely attentive, reliable, and detail oriented with every pet. I have experience handling multiple dogs at once including caring for up to five dogs for 7+ days, so I’m very comfortable with both longer stays in higher-energy households. I treat every dog like my own and always make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I also provide consistent updates so you can feel confident and not ease while you’re away. I’m a student at Virginia Tech with a flexible schedule, typically having at most two classes a day. Outside of class, I spent most of my time at home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. I’m able to adapt to each pets needs and schedule, whether that means early mornings, midday visits, or evening care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a pet friendly apartment with a fence dog area, so dogs have a safe place to get outside and play. I’m very attentive and make sure pets are always supervised and cared for based on their specific needs and routines. I also keep owners updated regularly so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I have always grown up around pets around the house! I am currently at college and am missing being around animals. I am always available to hang out, walk, play, or just chill with a pet. I have dealt with my goldendoodle for 9 years and it is the best thing that has happened to me. I am a college student and have 2 classes everyday which are each 1 hour. Therefore, I have a lot of flexibility before, in between, and after classes. I exercise daily so walking/playing with a dog fit perfectly in my schedule. At my home I live with 3 other girls who also love pets so having pets in our place is no problem! We have a dog park right down the road and also plenty of trails near me where I can them on walks.

About: I love animals with a passion and I am available for your dog. I have been around dogs since I was young. My dog at home loves when we play tug of war and fetch. I love the outdoors so walks won't be a dread. I also feel like the dog should be able to have some fun also. No matter the breed or age all dogs have an inner puppy that loves to loved and played with. I am not scared of any breed because all dogs are inner sweethearts. Dogs are part of the family and no matter what we all need each other to go on. I feel that could take care of all the dogs needs with no worry at all. I am currently help my dad take care of his five cats. I also walk and play with my dogs everyday. I work from home so I make my own schedule to be able to care for your pets. With my pets we are always working on some type of training. My clients would be able to ask me if I could help with anything they would want their pet to know.

About: I have had a dog for 8 years and have taken care of him. In addition, I have interacted with many different kinds of dogs and volunteer at the Roanoke and Montgomery County shelters. I currently attend college, but whenever I am home I take care of my dog. I take care of him daily, and I pay attention to his needs I walk my dog, feed him, give him water, play with him, brush him, clean and moisturize his paws, and make sure he is up to date on medications

About: I have worked at a humane society shelter as a volunteer for years in Michigan. I have fostered animals as well as helped dogs and cats give birth. I have experience with pet sitting and taking care of pets. I believe pets are our children. I have open flexibility and can give many references on how trust worthy i am as i owned a cleaning business here in nrv for 10 plus years licensed and insured. While at a clients home I will make sure the home stays cleaned up from the pet and goes on its normal scheduled walks and or care. While the pet is at my home it will have its own personal area that is kept well and it won't interact with our cats. Walks and playtime will be included.
